Dolph Ziggler def. Rey Mysterio to WIN the Intercontinental Championship. An awesome way to kick off the show, Mysterio successfully retained the title against Ziggler at Night of Champions but tonight it was not the same story and Dolph ducked a 619 to hit the Zig Zag and pick up some championship gold. Chris Jericho and The Big Show def. Cryme Tyme to retain the Unified Tag Team Titles. Cryme Tyme were the next tag team for Jericho and Big Show to bulldoze through, the duo seem unstoppable as Big Show pinned Shad after a Codebreaker and a knockout punch. MVP def. Jack Swagger.A decent battle between two RAW Superstars who have been rivals. The both have completely opposite lifestyles which is why they hate each other so much, the ending here saw MVP reverse out of the Gutwrench Powerbomb to hit the Playmaker for a three count. Ted DiBiase and Cody Rhodes def. Shawn Michaels and Triple H. This marked the ‘return’ of D-Generation-X as the crowd were pumped for HBK’s return. DX controlled throughout against the very brash Legacy however in the end Ted DiBiase pulled out a shocker by ducking the Sweet Chin Music and rolling up Michaels for the three count. Following the match Triple H and Shawn Michaels just stared at eachother, Triple H tried to tell his partner that it was ok but was swiftly met with Sweet Chin Music. The crowd turned on the heat (pun intended) as Michaels walked out. Kane def. The Great KhaliA battle of the goliath’s, a huge match but only in terms of the size of the competitors as this was a let down, after about seven minutes a Chokeslam gave Kane the victory. Randy Orton def. John Cena to retain the WWE Championship. Cena and Orton put on their usual match, a little more entertaining however. The was no Legacy interference as requested by Orton. The ending saw Cena closing in on a title win but Orton countered Cena’s Attitude Adjustment and planted him with the RKO, Cena looked as if he could kick out but Orton’s feet on the ropes ensured his win. Christian def. William Regal w/Ezekiel Jackson and Vladamir Kozlov to retain the ECW Championship. Christian regained the title last month at Night of Champions so there was no chance Captain Charisma was having a one-month title reign. Christian successfully defended his title after a miss communication between the Roundtable and a Killswitch on the Englishman. Tables, Ladders and Chairs Match.Jeff Hardy def. CM Punk to retain the World Heavyweight Championship. An amazing match of the year calibre bout to end the show. The two took part in and over twenty-minute battle involving blood, sweat and tears. Punk changed from a nice guy into a vile cheat at the expense of Jeff Hardy for about three month’s and Hardy wanted some revenge. In the end Hardy and Punk were fighting atop the ladder after a Swanton through a couple tables and Hardy dodged a kick from Punk to nail him in the head with the belt. Punk fell through a table and Hardy retained his championship. Jeff Hardy celebrated with his World Championship and the fans post-match but for how long will these celebrations and Hardy’s reign continue?

Monday August 24th, 2010
Michael Cole and Jerry ‘The King’ Lawler open the show they announce that tonight at the end of the show Shawn Michaels will reveal his reasons for attacking Triple H at SummerSlam after they lost to Legacy and our guest host is Dusty Rhodes.
Justin Roberts introduced this week’s guest host Dusty Rhodes to open the show and the ‘American Dream’ came down to the ring. He says he’s excited tonight because although the WWE Champion wont be in action we’ll be finding out his challengers for Unforgiven, that’s right challengers. At Unforgiven the WWE Championship will be defended in a Championship Scramble Match and the first qualifier will take place right now.
Triple H def. Carlito to qualify for the Championship Scramble Match. Carlito was given a huge opportunity here but of course The Game was out for blood after falling victim to a shocking betrayal at SummerSlam. The two had a decent battle and Carlito was getting decent heel reactions. Trips controlled most of the bout but Carlito found a crack somewhere in the end, enough to hit a diving dropkick and the Backstabber but to no effect of Triple H as he held tight onto the ropes to hit a Pedigree and pick up the victory.
Triple H seemed pleased with his victory but was obviously still wondering what Shawn Michaels had to say later in the show.
Commercial.
Jack Swagger def. MVP to qualify for the Championship Scramble Match. A good re-match from SummerSlam here, on that occasion MVP won with the Playmaker after reversing the Gutwrench. There was a little bit less pressure on the smaller stage tonight though which seemed to help Jack. It was pretty back and forth until the ending as MVP connected with the Ballin Elbow and ran in for the Player’s Boot but Swagger leaped forward and countered with the Belly to Belly Slam before hosting MVP up for the Gutwrench Powerbomb and the pinfall.
Swagger celebrated wildly after winning potentially the biggest match of his career to earn a WWE Championship Shot.
Backstage we see United States Champion, Kofi Kingston walking through the halls wearing his new shirt. He’s smiling until he bumps into the Miz, who says ‘watch where your going genius’ and pushes Kofi, Kofi pushes Miz back and walks off but Miz grabs him from behind and through him into the metal garage door and whispers ‘because I’m awesome’ before walking off.
Commercial.
Evan Bourne def. Unified Tag Team Champion Chris Jericho w/ Unified Tag Team Champion The Big Show. Jericho expected a straightforward singles match after his and The Big Show’s successful title retain at SummerSlam but Bourne refused to give Jericho and easy match. Chris tried to keep Bourne grounded as much as possible as to keep away Bourne’s favoured style, high flying. Bourne fought out of the headlocks though and eventually started to get ahead hitting a knee to the jaw and a standing Moonsault. Bourne looked for the Shooting Star Press but Jericho stopped Bourne and hit a Superplex. Jericho then connected with the Lionsault and tried to lock in the Walls but Bourne grabbed Jericho’s head and rolled him over for the sneaky pinfall.
Evan Bourne got away as fast as possible as The Big Show taunted attacking. Jericho was furious and yelled things such as ‘he doesn’t deserve to face me, he should be on one of the minor shows’. Show snatched the tag title belts from the referee and the duo left to heat.
Randy Orton is backstage with Josh Matthews; Orton is asked what he thinks about having to compete in the Championship Scramble. He says that while he is angry about the fact that he doesn’t have to be pinned to lose his championship he is certain that he’ll walk out retaining his title. He says that until the day he dies, the Age of Orton lives on.
Legacy, Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase, are walking backstage, they look like their making their way towards the entrance curtain.
Commercial.
‘New Day’ hits and Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase walk out to the ring. Rhodes asks the crowd if they saw SummerSlam last night, if they saw their match at SummerSlam, if they saw then weaken and beat a legendary D-Generation-X to the point of turning on each other. DiBiase says that if they don’t remember, here’s a video to jog their memory. A videotape plays of the ending of Legacy vs. DX at SummerSlam, it shows DiBiase rolling Shawn Michaels up and then Shawn superkicking Triple H after the match, Legacy are taking all the credit for both incidents. Boos are heard throughout the arena as Legacy continue. Ted says that the bottom line is they defeated former world champions and future hall-of-famers so they both deserve automatic spot in the Championship Scramble. Cody says and he’s sure that his dad will be happy to grant them those spots. Dusty Rhodes comes out to the stage again, and says that he hears what they are saying but as the guest host of RAW he needs to be fair and it doesn’t matter if you’re the son of the Million Dollar Man, or the son of yours truly you can’t just get a WWE Championship match, like that, you have to earn it. So tonight Rhodes and DiBiase will both get qualifying matches and their opponents will be each other. Dusty turns to leave as Rhodes and DiBiase are left fuming but Rhodes turns back and says that the match begins right now.
Ted DiBiase def. Cody Rhodes to qualify for the Championship Scramble Match. Rhodes and DiBiase are frustrated as they being their match, there is a lot of mat-based action and no clear leader in the match. The two definitely are in store for a big push after Legacy split, which I hope, doesn’t happen for a little while. The ending was unpredictable as Rhodes hit his signature knee drop only for DiBiase to avoid a DDT and hit a dropkick then a suplex. Rhodes reversed a Dream Street attempt with an Armdrag and then the DDT before ascending the top rope. Rhodes hit a Moonsault but Ted dodged and pinned him, putting his feet on the ropes to get the victory.
DiBiase helped Rhodes up after the match and Cody was disappointed but the two shook hands, Rhodes obviously didn’t know Ted was cheating the earn a spot in the scramble.
Commercial.
Divas Champion Mickie James and Kelly Kelly def. Alicia Fox and Jillian. This segment of the show was a lot shorter than the long Legacy segment it followed. The Divas Champion and Kelly basically dominated throughout with Fox getting the little offense for her team. In the end Kelly ducked a Scissors Kick to hit a Tornado DDT and tag in Mickie for the MickiDT and the win.
Mickie and Kelly celebrated for not so long after the match as Beth Phoenix, the Glamazon ran out and attacked both, throwing Kelly out of the ring and planting the Divas Champion with the Glamslam. Beth stood above Mickie after making her statement.
Santino Marella is backstage he slowly slides up next to Maryse and says ‘Howaya doing gurlfreand’. Maryse looks at him with disgusts as Santino moves closer and smiles. Jamie Noble walks onto the shot, Noble calls Santino over and says learn from the professional. Noble starts to flirt with Maryse when Festus walks past. Santino thinks for a moment and taps a spoon on a metal table. Festus changes personality and clotheslines Noble to the floor before running off shot, Maryse rolls her eyes and walks away as Santino looks disappointed.
Commercial.
John Cena def. The Miz to qualify for the Championship Scramble Match. It seemed obvious to everyone from when this match was announced that Cena was going to win but Miz put on a great show against the ‘Champ’. Miz had got the better of the United States Champion earlier in a backstage confrontation, which had to be a boost in confidence from this. Cena needed to regain whatever he may have lost when he failed to win the WWE Championship at SummerSlam. Miz connected with his Corner clothesline when Kofi bounced down to the ring, high-fiving some members of the crowd on the way. Miz was distracted as he yelled for Kofi to go back to the lockerroom; Cena quickly took this distraction and turned Miz around for the Attitude Adjustment and the pinfall.
Miz got out of the ring but Kofi met the Miz on the apron and the two fought to the back. Cena was ready to leave when Randy Orton hopped the crowd barrier and the WWE Championship turned Cena into an devastating RKO. Randy Orton stood tall with his title as we head out to a commercial.
Commercial.
‘Sexy Boy’ hits as The Heart Break Kid made his way down to the ring. He doesn’t greet the fans or even acknowledge them. Shawn climbs into the ring and picks up a microphone. Shawn says: ‘Why, Shawn, Why?’ is all he’s been getting all day. Michaels says there are some legit reasons why he stuck his right boot in Triple H’s sweaty and cocky face last night. For weeks Triple H and the WWE ‘Universe’ begged Shawn to comeback. Fight with his ‘best pal’ Triple H. Reboot the long buried and gone DX. Shawn didn’t intend on coming back but he felt that he was being pushed or forced back into the company by Triple H. Triple H wanted Shawn back to fight Hunter’s problems and get him involved in something he needed no part in and then when he comes back, just as he’d expected, they lose. DX’s generation is over, Shawn never wanted himself or the team to come back. He’s done with the wrestler’s in the back, he’s done with Vince McMahon and he’s done with the fans that’ll cheer for whoever kisses their ass. Shawn says that this is the final time you’ll ever see The Heart Break Kid, Shawn Michaels. ‘Good Riddance’. HBK walks back up the ramp when ‘Time to Play the Game’ hits.
Triple H wanders out onto the stage and tells that the just wants to get over this and be friends, that they can but all the bad and negativity behind them and Shawn can continue entertaining millions as he wanted when he was a young Shawn. Triple H . Triple H tells Shawn that he can forgive and forget, he puts a hand out but Shawn just takes his mic and says ‘ I don’t need your forgiveness’. Michaels continue walking and leaves as Triple H stands there looking up at the ceiling after his failed attempt at settling his problems with Shawn Michaels.

- Scramble Match. Sweet. Qualifiers? Also sweet. - Pretty obvious to see Triple H get into the qualifier. Expecting Shawn in too? - Jack Swagger qualifying over MVP is fair. Do not expect him to win whatsoever though. - Really nice to see you have Bourne defeat Jericho. I do hope he gets a push as he is just coming off the trade recently. - DiBiase qualifying over Rhodes is fair. Like that DiBiase cheated and Rhodes didn't even know about it... I sense tensions! - Mickie and Kelly getting the win is good, as it propels the attack after the match by Beth, showing she wants the title. - John Cena defeating The Miz was the right call. I do hope Miz gets involved with the US Title, though. Orton's attack after was good. - I'm kind of skeptical about the Shawn Michaels turn. I have a feeling it's going to lead to him facing HHH, but I'd prefer it later in the year.
A good first show overall.

Scramble Match for Unforgiven is great. As well as the qualifiers. Oh yeah! -HHH over Carlito was expected. Wonder how the DX/Legacy feud will continue as now, you wil have a hard time building Legacy as this was the feud that did it. -Swagger over MVP was a good rebound for him. So, I'm looking forward to MVP's future. -Great match between Bourne and Jericho. Bourne winning was expected. -Solid promo. Legacy in a Scramble Qualifier, I like. Ted over Cody is good either way. -James and Kelly winning was good. Beth wanting the title was expected. -Cena winning the Scramble was good. Seems like it was his time here. Hope you push Miz to mid-card, US Title status. -Michaels' heel turn was awesome. But you will have a tough time pushing this into WrestleMania or even Survivor Series. -Good show; you really made this different on your first showing.

Tuesday, August 25th 2010. Josh Matthews and Bryon Saxton welcome us to ECW, tonight we will witness the next match in the Sheamus/Goldust rivalry and Vladamir Kozlov will go head to head with ECW Champion Christian in the main event.Goldust def. Sheamus via DQ.We kick off with the next instalment of the most heated ECW feud. Sheamus started out strong, overpowering Goldust and working on his left-knee throughout. Goldust mounted a very physical comeback however and caused some damaged as he connected with Shattered Dreams out of the referee’s vision. Sheamus kicked out at two however. Goldust nailed his inverted atomic drop and looked for a DDT but Sheamus span out and hit a big boot. Sheamus then slid out of the ring and snatched a steel chair; he hit Goldust over the back and was disqualified. Sheamus then continued to beat Goldust with the chair until he was satisfied; he then hit Goldust once more before leaving. A vignette as for a new tag team called The Dudebusters featuring members Trent Baretta and Caylen Croft. The duo likes to play video games and kick ass. They’ll be debuting next week. Paul Burchill is backstage with his sister Katie Lea. Burchill says that he’s had just about enough of this Hurricane business, he’s going to beat Hurricane to a pulp in their tag match tonight and then next week we will all see the that the Hurricane is really just a weak breeze. Commercial. Zack Ryder and Paul Burchill w/Katie Lea Burchill def. Shelton Benjamin and The Hurricane.A good match featuring two ECW rivalries in Benjamin vs. Ryder and of course Hurricane vs. Burchill. Burchill and Benjamin kicked off the match in a fairly even opening, Benjamin getting the upper hand and tagging in Hurricane who came hard at Paul forcing him to make the tag. Ryder and Hurricane faced off the majority of the match while Ryder may have taunted too much. The ending here saw Ryder get the tag to Burchill who tried to nail Hurricane with the curb stomp but Hurricane slipped away and hit a dropkick and a crossbody but as he bounced off the ropes Katie Lea tripped him and Burchill connected with the Curb Stomp for the win. Shelton chased Paul Burchill off of Hurricane after the match as Benjamin taunted Ryder to get in the ring. Ryder did and the two had a stare down, Benjamin flinched forward causing Ryder to slid out of the ring. Commercial.Yoshi Tatsu def. Tyler Reks.A short yet decent match between a very exciting Yoshi Tatsu and Tyler Reks who still isn’t getting any crowd reaction whatsoever. Tatsu nailed some pretty high-risk manuoveres such as the diving spinning wheel kick. Reks thought back and attempted a springboard Moonsault but Yoshi dodged and pulled out and sick enziguri. In the end, Yoshi hit the snapmare, a kick to the chest of his opponent and then the roundhouse kick to finish off the flurry and the match. Yoshi shook hands with Tyler Reks and Reks whispered something in Tatsu’s ear to which Yoshi nodded to excitedly. The two walked to the back together. ECW Original Tommy Dreamer is backstage; he says that he has an announcement to make. In four weeks time he is officially leaving ECW and retiring for good. The crowd aren’t happy about this. He says this is the best move for him and for his health. Over the four upcoming weeks’ he’s going to have his final matches and he hopes that he can enjoy every second of them. ECW Champion Christian is shown walking towards the arena for his non-title main event against Vladamir Kozlov. It’s up next. Commercial.Non-Title - ECW Champion Christian def. Vladamir Kozlov w/Ezekiel Jackson. There isn’t really anyone on the same level as Christian on ECW at the moment so he’s going to be hard to beat for the title. Kozlov had Jackson in his corner who surprisingly didn’t intimidate Christian in the slightest. Kozlov began to dominate which a powerslam and a few stiff shots but it was cut short as Christian stopped a headbutt, grabbed Kozlov’s arms and planted him with the Killswitch for the win. Christian stood tall after a relatively short and disappointing main event, however this was changed as William Regal’s music hit and he made his way out. He tells Christian that he thought this would happen so he spoke to Tiffany and after a little banter she gave him a match with Christian, tonight, it’s non-title but if he wins then Regal will get a title shot next week. Non-Title – William Regal w/Ezekiel Jackson and Vladamir Kozlov def. ECW Champion Christian.Christian was shattered when this match started and Regal decided to show off a few press-ups to prove his energy. Christian hated this and kick William in the gut to start the match. Soon after Regal had mounted a comeback however and drilled Christian with a belly to back suplex. In the end Christian countered the Knee Trembler and whipped Regal into the corner for the pendulum kick but Ezekiel Jackson got on the apron to distract the referee as Vladamir Kozlov climbed in to hit the battering ram and get revenge. Jackson turned the referee back to the match, Kozlov hopped down to the outside and Regal hit the Knee Trembler for the victory. The Ruthless Roundtable stood tall over the ECW Champion, getting heat after their cheap victory.

-I loved the Goldust/Sheamus feud. So it continuing here was pretty cool. -Ryder and Burchill over Benjamin and Hurricane is pretty good either way. -Kozlov over Christian was pretty nice too. But very short. -Regal over Christian was a pretty smart turnaround there. Regal/Christian looks like it for Breaking Point

Friday August 28th 2010.
Jeff Hardy’s music hits to a huge ovation from the crowd as the reigning World Heavyweight Champion bounces down to the ring. He grabs a microphone and tells us that it feels so awesome to walk out of a TLC match at the event that the match was born at, SummerSlam as the winner. He says that he hopes that he’s finally free of CM Punk and his constant, repetitive criticism and hopes that he can become one of the best World Champions the WWE Universe has ever seen. CM Punk now makes he way out and tells Jeff Hardy that he’s making his ears bleed. He’s never heard someone kiss the WWE Universe’s rear end so horrifically. He asks the live crowd if really believe that he will be one of the best World Champions ever? He’s a paper champion; a transitional champion and it won’t be long before the World Heavyweight Title is once again Straight Edge. Eventually Jeff Hardy will be free from CM Punk but the World Heavyweight Championship will never again be free from Punk’s clutches. CM Punk says that he demands a title match tonight because these although these people deserve to be punished, they can be saved from a vile, medication utilizing bum like Jeff Hardy. Hardy drops his mic in angers and tempts Punk to come down to the ring. Punk smirks but doesn’t have time to do anything as SmackDown General Manger, Theodore Long makes his way out. Teddy informs Punk that he wont have a title match tonight but will get a chance to earn a non-title match against Hardy next week. Tonight we will see four World Heavyweight Championship qualifying matches because at Unforgiven, much like WWE Champion Randy Orton, Jeff Hardy will defend his World Heavyweight Championship in a Championship Scramble match. The crowd pop as Jeff Hardy listens closely. Long goes onto say that if Punk wins his qualifier tonight he will face Jeff Hardy on the next edition of SmackDown, if Punk win’s he will pick where he enters the Championship Scramble, if Jeff wins he picks where Punk enters the scramble. Both men look reasonably satisfied as he head to a commercial.
Commercial.
Intercontinental Championship - Rey Mysterio def. Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler via DQ to qualify for the Championship Scramble; Ziggler retains his title. A great SummerSlam rematch to kick things off, this time both the title and a spot in the scramble were on the line so it was winner takes all to some extent. Mysterio should be breaking away from the Intercontinental Title and joining in the World Championship race leaving Ziggler free to develop singles feuds. This match saw Ziggler almost take a 619 but quickly push the referee in his place. Ziggler hit Mysterio with a Fame Asser and a few stomps before looking over at the referee who was stirring a little. Ziggler grabbed his Intercontinental Title and as he got into the ring the referee turned over. Dolph hit Rey with the belt and the referee called for the disqualification.
Ziggler then realised that the referee had seen the whole thing and began to throw a tantrum. Mysterio helped himself back to his feet but Ziggler’s frustration led to a ZigZag to Mysterio much to the crowd disliking.
Commercial.
We cut backstage and The Hart Dynasty charge into Teddy Long’s office. Natalya say’s that her boys deserve championship scramble qualifiers as a thanks for making this show-entertaining week in a week out. Long says that they can have a qualifying match but for only one of them and whoever occupies the spot will be facing John Morrison. The Hart Dynasty don’t look totally satisfied but realise this is the best they will get and promptly leave.
Drew McIntyre def. Kung Fu Naki. A new superstar debuted tonight in a pretty impressive outing. He goes by the name Drew McIntyre. He slowed down the pace of the match as to keep Kung Fu Naki from getting any momentum witch suplexes and a sick headlock variation. The finish saw McIntyre rake Fu Naki in the eyes and nail him with a Double Arm DDT for the victory.
Drew grabbed a mic after the match and started to talk. He has a Scottish accent which he notes as he tells us that he was hand-picked by WWE Chairman Vince McMahon to be a future world champion and he’s going to prove the boss right in the next few week’s because the Chosen One cannot be beaten. McIntyre leaves the ring to hardly any reaction and generic rock music.
Commercial.
Chavo Guerrero from RAW is backstage; he’s in action tonight as he’s looking for a trade to SmackDown as announced by him on WWE.com. Guerrero suddenly stops and looks down. Hornswoggle is standing in from of his. Horny stomps out Chavo’s foot and Chavo yelps ‘ouch you little twerp’. Chavo lunges at Hornswoggle but his arm is stopped and the camera turn’s to reveal Finlay. Finlay loosens his grip and Chavo runs off.
Kane def. The Great Khali to qualify for the Championship Scramble. A ‘big’ first hour main event and the second Scramble Qualifier of the evening as well as the second SummerSlam rematch of the evening. Khali got the crowd fired up early on, taking Kane down with chops but after a shot to the back of Khali’s knee Kane took control and couldn’t be stopped. Shortly after a diving clothesline and a chokeslam Kane covered the Punjabi Playboy to take up a spot in the World Heavyweight Championship match.
Kane’s pyrotechnics set off as the crowd-unleashed heat. Khali sold his knee injuries as he cried out in only a way he could. Kane seemed pleased as Ranjin Singh came to the aid of his very tall brother.
Commercial.
R-Truth and Finlay w/Hornswoggle def. Chavo Guerrero and Mike Knox. A Decent tag match between three men who are looking for shots at the Intercontinental Championship and Chavo Guerrero from RAW who is still trying to beat Hornswoggle. Truth definitely looks in-line for the next title shot with an impressive performance tonight. The finish to this one saw Knox holding Finlay in an Abdominal Stretch before fighting out and pushing Knox into the ropes for a Lou Thez press. Finlay then tagged in Truth who waited for Knox to get to his feet before nailing the Scissor Kick for the win.
Chavo jumped straight into the ring and took down Truth before pushing Finlay off the apron. Chavo went out after Hornswoggle but the little man went under the ring and came out the exact same spot he went in, as Chavo was still half under. Hornswoggle took an nice bite in Chavo’s leg and Chavo screamed before getting up and chasing the Leprechaun but he ran right into Finlay who hoisted Guerrero up for the Celtic Cross. Truth high fived the Irish Father-Son duo as we head to another commercial.
Commercial.
John Morrison def. Tyson Kidd w/Natalya Neidhart and David Hart Smith to qualify for the Championship Scramble. It seems as if the Hart Dynasty decided to fight fire with fire, as Tyson Kidd was the one to step up and face John Morrison for a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship. John Morrison has been the third most important superstar on SmackDown lately after obviously Jeff Hardy and CM Punk; this could result in a main event spot in the coming months. The Hart Dynasty is still developing but should become Tag Team Championship in the next year. The ending of this one saw. Smith try to distract Morrison but John ducked the incoming attack from Kidd and Tyson nailed his partner so Morrison could hit the Superkick, drag Kidd into the corner and finish him with the Starship Pain for the victory.
John Morrison left to cheers from the crowd as David Hart Smith and Natalya helped Tyson Kidd to the back.
A promotional video for WWE Unforgiven airs, which will take place on September 20th live on Pay-Per-View.
Womens Championship - Melina vs. Women’s Champion Michelle McCool never started. Melina’s entrance music hit to the delight of the crowd but as the smart, sexy and powerful divas walked to the ring for her shot at the Women’s Championship but was assaulted from the crowd by Layla as Michelle McCool came out hobbling down on her crutches. Layla bashed Melina’s head on the ring steps before holding her arms behind her back so Michelle could repeatedly jab Melina with her crutches. LayCool left Melina hurt on the floor as the giggled off to the back.
Matt Hardy is backstage with his brother and World Heavyweight Champion Jeff Hardy; they are walking through the halls, as the main event is up next.
Commercial.
CM Punk def. Matt Hardy to qualify for the Championship Scramble. A pretty great main event. Matt’s brother, Jeff Hardy was on commentary duties for this one. Matt Hardy made amends with his brother a couple weeks prior to SummerSlam and since then they have once again been inseparable. CM Punk has been the crowd’s favourite to boo since he cashed in on Jeff Hardy at Extreme Rules and Punk absorbs the heat only to use it against his opposition. Hardy hit a Twist of Fate after about ten minutes, which seemed like the end but Punk found the strength to kick out. After a little while Punk countered a second Twist of Fate and delivered the Go To Sleep. That wasn’t enough for Punk though as he proceeded to lock in the Anaconda Vice. Matt Hardy was in serious pain as Punk sadistically laughed as he stared over at the World Heavyweight Championship. Ultimately Matt Hardy tapped out.
Punk signalled for a microphone after the match. Punk put the mic to his lips and tells us that he has something to say but simple falls to his knee’s a begins battering Matt Hardy with the microphone. This is when Jeff Hardy interferes and jumps into the ring, just as Punk wanted but Jeff get’s the better hands and plants Punk with a Twist of Fate. CM Punk quickly rolls out of the ring however to avoid anymore offense as Jeff Hardy holds the World Heavyweight Championship above his head to finish the show.

-Good promo here. Liking the pick the number ofr the scramble stip. Kinda spoiled the main event though setting up a match next week. -Rey Mysterio over Dolph Ziggler via DQ is interesting. I see Ziggler costing Mysterio the Scramble. -McIntyre over Fu-Naki is a decent way to bring him in. Hope he doesn't job for months. -Kane over Khali was a nice call there. Kane into the Scramble is great. Wouldn't mind seeing him win it. -R-Truth and Finlay over Guerrero and Knox was the right call. -Morrison entering the Scramble is awesome! Also wouldn't mind seeing him win it either. -Melina's Women's Title match never starting is interesting. Could set up a rematch at Unforgiven. -Punk over Hardy was expected to advance the Punk/J. Hardy feud. Nice one there. -Good SmackDown; looking great so far, Jack.

- Solid opening promo. Scramble match shall be entertaining. - An interesting choice for an opener; being both a scramble qualifier and IC Title match. Expected Ziggler to win, but getting DQed is nice. - Obvious victory for McIntyre, especially in his debut, and practically dominating Kung Fu Naki. - Kane and Great Khali is such a snore fest. Please don't have them ever face again, ha ha. Glad Kane won though. - Truth and Finlay defeating Mike Knox Raw's Chavo is solid. Hornswoggle/Chavo stuff is so boring now, however. - John Morrison defeating Tyson Kidd, in which I guarantee a great match, is the best call as Morrison is a singles star. - Violence from Laycool, eh? Liking it, liking it. - A good main event with CM Punk defeating his rival's brother. Definitely adds deeper into this feud.
A good show.
