I would have grabbed that Ted just because I want the figure. I have passed on pretty much all of the 1 of 1000s I have seen over the last 2 months. MVP, Goldust, Evan Bourne, and a bunch of Codys I have just picked up and put back because I don't want any of those figures and they don't really have any value at this point. They only one I still have is Dolph Ziggler because I think its a great looking figure, especially with the belt.

This is why nobody should ever buy from scalpers. If you don't buy from them, they won't be able to sell anything, they'll return their haul, and the figs we want will make their glorious return to the shelves.

The only time I will buy a 1/1000 figure is if I don;t have a figure of that person yet. I have opened all of the ones I ever got, I got 4. Example, I found Melina in Boscovs for the first time ever and I didn't have her yet. She just so happened to be a 1/1000 figure, so I opened it anyway. The belts really mean nothing to me.
