And sad to see so little people being together for Little NOG. I usually cheer for Lil' Nog but after the Brilz fight I just wanna see him get beat. That makes no sense to me.

I'm not sure why a controversial win would suddenly make you "need" to see him lose. Seems odd. Anyways, this event is way better than it's being given credit for. I was talking to a friend about it, and it made me sad at how close minded my MMA buddies were. Since no "huge" name was attached to it, they were casually shrugging their shoulders about the card, saying it only looked decent (followed by excitedly asking about when Brock and/or Anderson were supposed to fight again). As excited as I am for Brock/Cain, I'd love to see this card just as much, if not more.

At least you have "MMA budies" out of all my friends not one likes MMA so I have to watch alone and screaming out loud and yelling at the TV by myself .On the other side I'm actually not that excited for Lesnar VS Cain. I haven't been this excited for a card since Machida VS Shogun 2.

I am definitely pulling for Lil Nog. I just feel Bader is kinda underrated among hardcore fans. I feel he is coming along just as quickly as Bones but Bones is everyones focus right now as far as the next "big" star is concerned.

I haven't been this excited for a card since Machida VS Shogun 2.I hear ya. Though I often prefer to watch alone anyways. The one buddy I do watch with tends to have guests poking in (his older sister, our old boss from a former job, and some other people) that know nothing about MMA. The old boss is pretty cool about things, but everyone else always has to chime in with the unfunny "Why are they hugging in tight shorts?" comments as we watch. It pisses me off to no end, and sometimes I just prefer to watch at home with a six pack.

Usually I go to a bar with a couple of friends and try to ignore all the idiots. I remember the one guy getting EXTREMELY pissed off that Kimbo lost at 113. So much so that he threw his beer down and walked out. I loved it.

bars are hard to go to because you have a sea of d-bags who think because they wear a tapout shirt two sizes too small that they know everything about mma.

Dude wouldn't Chuck Liddell vs. Brock Lesnar be so awesome? Gotta love those sort of comments. Here's a few I've heard that make my brain hurt. "You know what would be a great fight? Kimbo-vs-Tank. What? That happened? No way!" "I can't watch that s*it anymore. It's become so fake. Forrest clearly took a dive against Anderson. No way he could lose like that, for real." "God, that Kimbo fight was so fixed. Just look at how Petruzelli low blows him with the kick, and then that punch barely connected to his face. Look at that punch. No way does a guy that big get knocked out by that. Just no way at all." "God I wanna see Lashley-vs-Brock. Could you imagine that?!" I also REALLY hate when a guy wins 1 or 2 fights by stoppage against so-so opponents and then I hear something like "Holy s*it, he's the real deal huh?" Yet in the same breath they'll see someone like Belcher, Akyama, Okami, or Mardquardt bust their ass against tougher opponents and only respond with a lazy "Eh, I don't like them. I dunno why." And you know it's only because the 1 fight they've bothered to watch of any lesser known guy was maybe a hard fought decision win/loss. I remember my friend ranting about how Mir was the real deal after putting on muscle and beating Kongo. I told him not to jump on the bandwagon yet, which he ignored. Then the Carwin fight happened, and now he thinks Mir is s*it again. Same things happened with Evans and Machida when they won the belts. Silly people.

Kongo isn't really much when you think about it. The guy is CLEARLY a dirty fighter and not so good with submission defense. Awesome GnP though.
The whole Kimbo/Petruzelli thing is the one I mostly laugh at. People simply bought into the Kimbo hype and couldn't take that their P4P Best in the World lost in 13 seconds to a Light Heavyweight fighter. Though it all though, I do consider that fight to be one of the most exciting fights ever, just for the way Kimbo was brought up and how it ended. Much respect to Kimbo though.

Later today I'm going to be attending the media open workouts. Look for some pics and stuff to be posted by later this afternoon/evening. I'm going to be posting pretty much everything on my blog first. I've already posted an entry trying to express how big for me personally this week is going to be: radiozt.wordpress.com/

My 2 favorite fighters are Brock Lesnar and ANYONE who fights Frank Mir. So, obviously, you know who I'll be routing for. But to quote another favorite MMA fighter, "I am not impressed by your performance." when talking about the rest of this card.
