What does JR have against Bret Hart or Edge? Why would JR support the Nexus? Bret Hart - A legend who got to come back and end his career on his terms Edge - Didn't Edge start the whole GM feud, anyways? Would just be a normal GM-Wrestler feud Nexus Supporter - Now Striker likes the Nexus, but discounting liking them for what they are, JR must love seeing Vince's company that he (JR) was kicked out of getting destroyed, as it's basically unrequested payback. He's also stung Nexus, showing he's fair and not completely one-sided, like most GM's are. JR's said he isn't and doesn't want to be the RAW GM, but something tells me once a week in a relatively small role on RAW is a situation he would be hard pressed to pass-up. The GM started the feud with Edge by punishing him for stuff he did in matches. Like with the bodyslam challenge. Edge easily defeated Bourne and then the GM was like "That wasn't fair so here is your next opponent Mark Henry."

Since Edge is on SD anyways, it doesn't matter, now, and if an explanation was still needed, JR could just say he felt Edge was getting breaks and things like that, then once Edge started doing things to the RAW GM, JR got upset and punished him.

JR was great. THE Man. With Heyman he was outstanding, with King slightly less so, but they were together longer, so you got used to it.
But my favorite was still the temporary Velocity team of Josh and Tazz.

Perhaps it will lead to a full on heel turn from Cole...

i used to love when jr would go completely over the top at times and over react to stuff. i remember one time when nwo came to wwe i think austin was wrestling an nwo member and scott hall walked down to ringside and just stood there looking on. jr got mad and king said something like "hes just coming to get a closer look" and jr was like "and u condone this!?!" hall hadnt done anything yet and it made me love jr. i also loved that one time when he kicked michael cole in the nuts.

I don't see how WWE can have a heel play by play. At some point they have to become unbiased and promote the show in a good light. That's why it never worked for JR and now it's not working with Cole. The play by play needs to be 100% face and the color com needs to be 100% heel or face.

I dont think the heel commentator really ever worked except when Jesse Ventura did it.
Where WWE is missing JR is in his ability to get a guy over to the audience. Could you imagine JR putting Daniel Bryan over on the headset?
