Bound For Glory 2007
10 Knockout Battle Royal Traci Brooks, Jackie Moore, Awesome Kong, Shelly Martinez, ODB, Angel Williams, Christy Hemme, Talia Madison, Roxxi Lavaeux and Gail Kim.
Can't believe how much the KO division has sunk. Back in 2007 they had a pretty good roster and signing new knockouts all the time, there was even a time when people were complaining that TNA had too many knockouts nearly 20 knockouts i believe it was, now look at the roster 3 years on.
Angelina Love, Sarita, Velvet Sky, Madison Rayne, Tara, Lacey Von Erich, Daffney, Taylor Wilde and Hamada (Only counting active knockouts)
9 Knockouts is not enough for a division, and definitely not enough for a freaking tag division
There are only 2 knockouts that were featured in that match that have been with TNA for those 3 years Velvet Sky and Christy Hemme. Thats gotta say something about TNA management huh?
Shell of its former self, TNA has to sort out their knockouts division and fast, i mean Angelina/Velvet/Tara/Madison has near enough been the KO storyline for the entire year.
/Kinda mini rant lol
What is your opinion of the knockout division 3 years on?

There was a time when I watched TNA exclusively for the KO division, now, I skip over the matches. It's absolutely horrendous these days.

The Knockouts division was the highlight of my TNA experience up until as recent as January, but from there it seemed to rapidly decline, I'm hoping they can pick up the ball again.

it's a shame because they lost a lot of talented workers for it, they need to pick it back up

In my opinion the Knockouts division is awful now and should just be scrapped instead.
It's a wrestling show, and in my opinion, they should always use the talent that are the best wrestlers.
And in the majority of cases, the male TNA wrestlers will put on better matches (unless it's Kevin Nash etc)
Would much rather see the X-Division have a guarenteed iMPACT match and/or segment every week.

Kind of an unfair analogy. Two women can have as good of a match as two men... some people would have zero interest in the x-divsion due to the size or style of the athletes. I think you could look at Gail Kim vs Awesome Kong as examples of both the height the division would reach and also two women who could work a match as well as any other wrestlers. It's the same logic that suggest a seven footer can't have an exciting match with a 5-footer. We can enjoy two behemoths or two technicians/cruisers.. On topic, the division has sunk, indeed. TNA just can't promote a solid product. I've seen them have a great heavyweight division and average "rest". Than we had show-stealing x-division stars that main-evented pay-per-views soon fazed out by knockouts that were as far away from divas using girlie holds as you can gets but the knockouts were less and less unique when TNA put life back into the tag division and now here we are with a cluster of a product.

I think the bigger story for TNA is the demise of the X-Division...

I loved it in the beginning.
But it kinda started to die for me after Gail left.
Sure it was not completely crappy but then in 2009 they added Tara [great since I love her] but the matches were not that great and there were WAY too many crap reigns that it made me really mad.
That has happened just as much in 2010.
It is just horrible and I hope that crap stops.
Now with Mickey in tna I am going to give them another shot but I don't know how even Mickey can sustain my interest if they continue to push only select people of which I only really like Tara [Madison is okay; I hate TBP].
