Jakks NEVER came close to scale. Mattel is all win. Jakks = Fail. That is one of the many reasons I love the Mattel line so much, scale. Yes, it's not perfect, but coming from what Jakks did (and didn't do) it is perfection. Patiently waiting on my WWEshop order to arrive with Perfect, Rock & Vader... Damn UPS, hurry it up already.

I know how that feels Niko whenever anyone in the house is getting a package delivered from UPS it's here by noon. Yet whenever I am receiving a package it's not here unitl 6 -6:30. I seriously think it's the center manager screwing with me. Because he was my center mangaer when I got injured at UPS when we were living in NJ. He now the center manager out of the hub here in NY that services our area.

A future scammer who actually says he was going to scam the other guy? Sounds like someone joking about the situation to me. Is there no humor in Wales?
Anyway, I'm pretty sure the original poster and everyone else got the joke. Sorry if it fell short of your obviously high standards.

Austin and Jake ARE the same size. Jake's hair mold makes him appear taller, but the figure at the scalp is the same size. Austin is too tall, I noticed that the first time I bought the figure. If you go and look at a picture of Austin you can tell immediately that his legs are much shorter than his figure represents and the teeny kneepads don't help either, they accentuate the length. He's showing entirely too much shin.
Don't get me wrong, I love Mattel and I do appreciate the effort and the variety of heights, torsos, etc., they use and most of all the attention to detail....BUT, they have messed up a bunch, not just with scale but parts as well, but it gets overlooked by the majority of people while even a minor error on behalf of Jakks would cause Armageddon.
I just find it humorous, but in a few years time when the freshness of Mattel has worn off those criticism will return. Count on it.

Like it might just go "missing". This package has been out for delivery since 5:18am this morning and I have to leave for work in 12 minutes. Grrrrrrr!

UPS seems to be more dependable at getting packages to businesses earlier in the day. It also ensures that there is always someone around to sign for it so I can get my goodies as soon as possible.

I think Mattel has done a great job with scale. Steamboat is the only one that's REALLY iffy. Don't forget too, that heights are about as truthful as the wrestler wants it to be. I'll never forget meeting Rhino at an ECW show in 2000. He was billed at 6'3", but at 15 I was taller than him by a few inches. I'd guess he was 5'10". Im fine with Steamboat been the size he is. The only one who has bugged me is Perfect he's just too big.

it might of been a factory error. You should return it, ( if possible) and see if you but a new one to see if there is a difference

Austin and Jake ARE the same size. Jake's hair mold makes him appear taller, but the figure at the scalp is the same size. I just find it humorous, but in a few years time when the freshness of Mattel has worn off those criticism will return. Count on it. But you have to count Jake's hair. Because it's molded rubber so the top part of the hair is hair, but the under part of his head is supposed to be represented in the hair. Just like with Mike Knox's beard. If you look at it there's no chin to the figure, because it's supposed to be understood that part of the beard mold. (If that makes sense) So you need to count the hair for Jake which makes his figure taller. Because like with Knox's beard if you removed Jake's hair his head would be missing the top. And I've had a few issues with Mattel that I've complained about. So far my complaints were they used arms molds with shirt wrinkles on them for a bare armed MVP. Or long tights upper thigh molds w/ wrinkles for Elite 2 DiBiase. And I'm sure if Mattel starts to cut corners on the cost like Jakks did there will be complaints. But for the most part the scale has been fine with what they have. I did say Perfect, Hacksaw & Steamboat were off but the rest have been close enough for me. I know how that feels Niko whenever anyone in the house is getting a package delivered from UPS it's here by noon. Yet whenever I am receiving a package it's not here until 6 -6:30. I seriously think it's the center manager screwing with me. Because he was my center manager when I got injured at UPS when we were living in NJ. Like it might just go "missing". This package has been out for delivery since 5:18am this morning and I have to leave for work in 12 minutes. Grrrrrrr! 5:18am is when the trailer it was on was scanned into your hub. We (drivers) don't actually start until 8 or 8:30 I forget which it was seeing I've been out for the last 11 years. lol I don't know if it would work for your situation but I always have my packages delivered to my office. UPS seems to be more dependable at getting packages to businesses earlier in the day. It also ensures that there is always someone around to sign for it so I can get my goodies as soon as possible. That won't work for me because since Oct. 6, 1998 the day I was injured at UPS I've been out of work. Basically I'm a Mr Mom now. Here's a little back story to what happened. My daughter was born Sept. 7, 1998...So I took all my vacations (4 weeks) to help my wife take care of her and because I did that UPS was pi$$ed at me. So my first day back they wanted to "punish" me by sending me out on a route blind. Meaning a route I had never done before. And at my first stop I injured my back (L3, L4 & L5) when it turned out the homeowners front stairs I was walking back down were nothing more than slabs of tile sitting on 2X4's. When I stepped on the first stair to go back to my truck the 2X4 rotated causing the tile to slide and I twisted awkwardly so not to fall and screwed up my back. (I would have been better off if I fell) Anyway after being out of work for 3 months I had surgery on my back (L3, L4 & L5) the first week of Jan 99 hoping to get back asap, but I was told in the recovery room that I could never go back because my back was like that of a 65 year old riddled with arthritus. And for the first year I basically couldn't do anythin except lie in bed (It was about 8 months before I was aloud to do physical therapy) But add to that my back never healed right and now the disks above and below where I had my surgery are also messed up as is my right hip (it has pop out and back in about 3 times now) and right knee keeps hyper extending. So because of all that I am now a Mr Mom. it might of been a factory error. You should return it, ( if possible) and see if you but a new one to see if there is a difference No I have 2 and both are noticeably too tall.

I was the one who switched them and like PJ said I just used the Bob Orton shins and switched them out with the socks removed, but I'm sure you could find someone who doesn't have socks on to switch them out with.

They literally arrived 2 minutes before I had to leave for work! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D First impressions are that they are all really nice, but perfect IS too tall. Like they just kept the part selection from Swagger instead of switching the calf part. I'm not sure if I have any lower legs to swap out to make mine shorter at the moment though.

Yes, I don't have any lower legs that I can use yet either. So until I do he's in the ring at a wider stance with his legs slightly bent.

Yeah he does seem Swagger height. Same here I'm going to have to wait I don't want to ruin another figure by doing it though so I'll have to wait for the right one. If only Bob didn't wear those sock's. PJ - Thanks for the input as usual very useful. This is a long story shortenedI also have back problems my T4 broke due to minor slip. I didn't know (thought I'd pulled a muscle in my chest) and carried on traveling (Thailand) it later popped and I had to stay in a Thailand hospital for 2 week (horrible ). Holiday and money gone Got home (travel insurance thank god I got it ) They said it was weakened by a tumor growing inside. It wasn't cancerous . But later test (months after) revealed the T4 had totally disappeared and my back was collapsing . My head was literally falling off. Have to wear full body&neck brace. Tumor can't be found. Surgeons very worried. Getting op after a year of going in hosp the first time to get it reconstructed (Monday op on Wed 20th). Going to be opened up front and back (BIG Op) and wont be posting for a couple of weeks (if I survive j/k they do these all the time ). I FEEL YOUR PAIN!!!Hollywood Asia - This is a forum for Mattel WWE figures therefore I will share my views on the said topic as I'm entitled to and it makes this board more interesting. If no one shared there views neg or pos it would be a very dull board. Ok? I don't know how to quote more than one post like PJ. How?

He is supposed to be 6'3 but my figure is probebly 6'6 and he looks way too big like Scott Hall too big I dont want him to be a giant

Rob, That sucks. I'm sorry to hear about your health/back issues. I hope this surgery works out for you. That has got to have been very hard for you and your family. As for multiple quotes I'll click the qoute button...Copy the whole quote including the brackets. Then I'll leave that post and edit mine. This thread is so funny!! The belt is too big as well for Mr Perfect. it fits better on Basic figures -

It's not a figure ruiner but it does hurt it a bit. As for the belt been too big i'm not that bothered about that. I know other people on here are though. Ohh PJ did you read what I wrote about my back in my post above. It was directed at you and took me age's so just let me know you read it. (psycho!psycho!psycho!) Just messin Lol ;D

It was brought up a few times and I've agreed. People were also saying Pillman & Bulldog were off, but they are fine. Only Hacksaw was too short & Perfect was too tall. Here's what I had posted the last time I saw this topic - "Actually if you look at the figures in Series 3 the scale is right on them except for Mr Perfect (Too tall) and Hacksaw (too short) because according to WWE.com or obsessed w/ Wrestling their heights are- Rock & Vader are both listed at WWE.com as 6'5" Mr Perfect is listed at 6'3" at WWE.com & OwW Hacksaw is listed at 6'3" on OwW but his height isn't listed at WWE.com. Bulldog is listed at 5'11" on WWE.com & on OwW his wrongly listed at 6'3" Pillman is listed at 6' on Obsessed w/ Wrestling. I'm not sure what his real height is because that's the only site I seen it listed at. So if you look at the figures from tallest to shortest it would go like this - Mr Perfect Rock Vader Hacksaw Pillman Bulldog So really Mr Perfect should be a little shorter and Hacksaw should be a little taller. The other four are fine. For those upset about Steamboat being too short just swap his calves with someone like Cody Rhodes paint them red and he'll be about 1/2" taller. you'll lose the wrinkles in the lower leg though. I think it would work with Sarge or Rude calves as well if you wanted to keep the wrinkles, but I went with Rhodes seeing I had some of his extra part lying around. It's a simple enough fix for those who really hate the Steamboat height. Personally I don't mind his height because he was very short. "
