That went to the ufc doesn't have the same aura to them as they did in pride.

It would seem that way. Cro Cop, Wanderlei, Rampage etc. But it could just be a matter of age/prime. I'm sure it doesn't have to do with the UFC itself. Perhaps if they started in the UFC and made their way to Pride it would have similar outcomes.

I think some fighters found it more difficult than others fighting in the cage (as opposed to a ring) and adapting to the different rules.

Well let's see...
- Vitor Belfort (About to fight for the UFC Middleweight title) - Wanderlei Silva (Has had great fights in the UFC, but his style doesn't match up to well against some guys) - Gilbert Yvel (His style has always been the same, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, but he always tries to excite) - Ricardo Almeida (Has always been good) - Dan Henderson (Always looked good in his UFC fights, especially his last one) - Quinton Jackson (Former UFC Light Heavyweight champion, and never been finished in the UFC) - Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira (Has only looked sluggish in 2 UFC fights, but he has been in some battles and might be winding down) - Mirko Filipović (He lost his killer instinct after Gonzaga gave him that brutal head kick KO. I think that's the only thing he's missing.) - Antonio Rogerio Nogueira (Still looked good in the UFC so far, I even scored the Bader fight in Nogueira's favor, but whatever.) - Anderson Silva (Current UFC Middleweight champion, and holds the record for longest winning streak in the UFC) - Mauricio Rua (Current UFC Light Heavyweight Champion) - Takanori Gomi (Just came out a great KO win over Tyson Griffin. First guy to ever finish Griffin) - Fabricio Werdum (Only one loss in the UFC against Dos Santos, and we know what else he did after the UFC let him go) - Yves Edwards (Always comes to fight, and won his comeback UFC fight recently)
Verdict: Some do good, some do not. Maybe it's age, maybe it's the cage. Who knows really.

Yeah, by decision. He didn't look nearly as bad as he did against Arlovski as he did against Dos Santos.

ehh the only one I don't think is the same is Rampage...he could still be a threat but the guy seems to be over the whole training aspect (even though I know he has never liked training) and doesn't really have that urgency to win. He used to fight like his life depended on it..but his last couple of fights looked like he was fighting just to get it over with so he could get his money..
that is why I think Rampage a few years ago might of had a pretty decent chance against Machida...but this new Rampage is going to get f***ing rocked.
but besides him Shogun, Anderson, Lil Nog, etc have all shown to be as dominant as they were in Pride if not MORE dominant..
plus you got Gomi working his way to a title shot (it will happen)...
..and Wanderlei is coming back to form..he is in the weight class he should have been in since entering the UFC. He will wreck just about anyone at 185 imo...'cept Belfort, Anderson, and maybe Marquardt.

Some are doing great, like Shogun ;D. Others may have reduced because of age or because of there chins reducing because of some of the nasty KO's the took, just like Liddell.

Age and the cage seems to be the go...for the most part, but not always.

^ ...wha?
but anyways, as others said, i think it has more to do with age than anything.
i have no idea how rampage made it so far though.
