ECW on Sci-Fi - Tuesday 11th March 2008 - Chicago, IL NOW IN HD!A replay from last week aired, showing CM Punk manage to knock off a huge victory against John Bradshaw Layfield, rightfully to earn him a shot at the ECW Championship at WrestleMania XXIV. We then cut to a replay from last night on the three-hour edition of Monday Night RAW, where John Bradshaw Layfield and Armando Estrada discussed CM Punk, talking about how he isn't a good man to represent ECW as their champion, as their leader, like JBL has been recently; and how Layfield would give him an asskicking of a lifetime on March 30th. But that's when Mick Foley's theme hit, and laid out the ECW General Manager, motivating Layfield, to the point of the ECW Champion snapping and leaving Foley in mangles, revealing that he would end CM Punk's career in an Extreme Rules match. The opening video package for ECW on Sci-Fi aired, before we cut to the AllState Arena in Chicago, Illinois, and pyrotechnics were going off, Joey Styles and Tazz introducing us to ECW on Sci-Fi, just under three weeks away from WrestleMania XXIV! Almost immediately, the theme of CM Punk hit, and everyone in Chicago jumped to their feet as their hometown hero made his way out to the stage! The fans roared for the "Straight Edge Superstar" as he made his way down to the ring, the number one contender to the ECW Championship at WrestleMania XXIV clearly with a lot on his mind, especially after not being able to make the WrestleMania Rewind edition of RAW last night, and missing out on the conflict between John Bradshaw Layfield and Mick Foley. Punk took a microphone and was met with 'Punk' chants, as Punk continued to talk about how it was an awesome day, because he was here in his hometown, and the more awesome part is, he's going to WrestleMania, and he's going to bring home the ECW Championship! Punk continued, talking about how he wasn't there for RAW last night, but he did see what John Bradshaw Layfield had to say about him, and he knows that he can turn this around on him. He's been praised for his originality, his uniqueness, and his credibility to have been a successful ECW Original back in the days of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Hammerstein, New York, the days of Paul Heyman! And not this pathetic cover-up known as Armando Estrada. Punk continued, telling John that it's fine, he can demoralize Punk or screw him over as much as he wants over the next three weeks, but on March 30th, it won't be easy for the so-called "Wrestling God", and the veteran will get put down like the Old Yeller that he is, because CM Punk can see through JBL's charade; he just wants to keep his own career alive. He wants to keep himself on top, so he's aligned a friendship with Armando Estrada, with Edge, with La Familia. But the fact of the matter is that he retired in the first place because he knew he was done, and yes he may have become a competent color commentator, but when he came back to the ring in January, he hasn't been the same! He had to jump from losing to Chris Jericho to suddenly being on ECW, beating those that are weaker, smaller, or not yet ready to go against this so-called "Wrestling God". But the fact is, he isn't. Layfield never has or never will be as good as CM Punk! Punk has stood up to Layfield, and he isn't ready to step down a level any time soon! Punk then told JBL to enjoy ruining the life of a potential WWE superstar and killing the career of a Hardcore legend in Tommy Dreamer, because Punk would rightfully deliver justice and justice will be served on March 30th! With that, the theme of the United Kingdom hit, and out came Drew McIntyre, and up next we will see the "Straight Edge Superstar" collide with the Scotsman! | COMMERCIAL BREAK |An advertisement aired, promoting WWE WrestleMania XXIV, live on pay-per-view on Sunday, March 30th 2008 from Orlando, Florida; 19 days away! 1) CM Punk def. Drew McIntyre (w/Dave Taylor and Layla) @ 7:22This match was underway as we returned from the commercial break, as the number one contender to the ECW Championship went to war with the Scotsman, Drew McIntyre, and he had Dave Taylor and Layla accompanying him to the ring, Layla seemingly having joined the United Kingdom faction, and with that the odds were stacked against the "Straight Edge Superstar", much like it could be at WrestleMania in nineteen days. Drew McIntyre managed to keep up with the more experienced Punk, matching his speed and cutting him off with a devastating running knee to the gut of Punk. McIntyre worked over Punk from that point on, an abdominal stretch applied before Punk soon mounted a comeback, his hometown crowd really digging for the hometown kid to make a comeback, and he did with several kicks to the abdomen of McIntyre before nearly decapitating him with a high-angle kick! Punk then went for the Anaconda Vise, but Dave Taylor got on the apron, and so Punk took him out with the baseball slide, then blocking the Scot Drop, and with that the GTS connected for the win! The fans cheered for CM Punk as the "Straight Edge Superstar" got a great pop from the Chicago crowd, Drew McIntyre remaining down, and as Dave Taylor slid into the ring with Layla, Punk took off for the rampway, as the more important facts were that CM Punk had gotten win in his hometown tonight against all odds, and in two weeks at WrestleMania, Punk was destined to win the ECW Championship back! We cut to the backstage area as Tommy Dreamer and Colin Delaney were shown talking over the match tonight, Delaney talking with great reluctance as he confessed to the "Innovator of Violence" that he only wanted to try and be someone, and wrestling is his life. Especially for the WWE, with a mentor as great as the ECW Original. Dreamer seemed flattered as he told Delaney that he's taught him all he can, they've worked so hard together training for tonight's match, and he's sure that if they follow their strategy plan well, they can get the job done and Colin will have a shiny new contract, and Dreamer can remain. Tommy continued, stating that after tonight, they're going to target the WWE Tag Team Championships! Delaney seemed hopeful as Dreamer walked away. A graphic aired, promoting the viewing of some footage from the Tonight Show last night when Floyd "Money" Mayweather called out the Big Show to a match at WrestleMania XXIV, and that footage was coming next! | COMMERCIAL BREAK |We returned to ECW on Sci-Fi tonight as Joey Styles and Tazz took us back to last week on Monday Night RAW where it was the Big Show taking on Bobby Lashley, and the match ended when the "World's Largest Athlete" lost his temper after eating defeat, and in that oust of anger, he took it out on the Welterweight Champion himself, dragging Floyd Mayweather over the barricade from where he was spectating, and the Big Show proceeded to start choking out the undefeated boxer. Mayweather was then saved by Lashley, and paramedics aided to the boxer. We then cut to footage from NBC, the Tonight Show from last night with Jay Leno, as he asked Floyd Mayweather about the incident last week on RAW. Mayweather called Show a "sissy bitch" that wouldn't want to pick on someone his own size because he's a damn weakling! Mayweather told Leno that he's never been insulted in his life in professional boxing, but he gets front row tickets to a WWE event, and he gets choked out by some seven-foot fatass? Mayweather, getting angrier then told Leno that he wanted Big Show on a silver platter at WrestleMania, that he was calling him out and he would be happy to knock him out at WrestleMania! The clip ended, as Joey Styles and Tazz revealed that Floyd Mayweather also announced that he would be in Lafayette, Louisiana on Monday night to confront the Big Show. The theme of John Morrison and the Miz then hit to loud boos, as the WWE Tag Team Champions made their way out to the rampway strutting their stuff, the "Shaman of Sexy" and the "Chick Magnet" seemingly not ready for action tonight on ECW against Shelton Benjamin and Elijah Burke. Morrison told everyone how everyone is going to be disappointed that Miz and Morrison will not be in action tonight! The crowd booed as Morrison talked about how he didn't feel like Shelton Benjamin or Elijah Burke deserved to be in the same ring as the WWE Tag Team Champions, but alas, he's giving them an opportunity to redeem themselves. The Miz then took over, talking about how last week's Fifteen Minutes of Fame proved that they didn't deserve a shot, but they'll overlook it in a last chance opportunity to gain contention to their titles...next week! As for tonight, they have two different guys in mind for Benjamin and Burke. They then left, as the theme of Mark Henry hit! 2) Shelton Benjamin and Elijah Burke def. Mark Henry and Big Daddy V (w/Matt Striker) @ 4:46This was something that Shelton Benjamin and Elijah Burke had not been expecting, particularly when they were supposed to be going into the Fifteen Minutes of Fame challenge one more time against John Morrison and The Miz tonight, instead they were faced with two angry giants, and the "World's Strongest Man" and the "Mastodon" weren't about to let the "Gold Standard" and the "Elijah Experience" get past them. Especially when Mark was coming off of a big win in the interpromotional battle royal last night on RAW, entering himself into the Money in the Bank match (which Shelton will also be participating in). Big Daddy V dominated Elijah Burke despite all of his efforts, as Matt Striker looked on from ringside, and just when Burke had mounted a comeback with some punches to Mark Henry whilst in the bear hug, Striker took Shelton Benjamin clean off of the apron! But that's when Kofi Kingston ran down to ringside, Trouble in Paradise for Striker! Mark Henry went after Burke but received another hard-hitting punch, and Burke connected with a second before Shelton Benjamin got onto the top rope, a diving Paydirt connecting, giving Burke and Benjamin the win! Shelton Benjamin and Elijah Burke celebrated their win amongst cheers, as Mark Henry rolled out of the ring, Big Daddy V left at ringside chasing off Kofi Kingston, but the fact of the matter is that the "Gold Standard" and the "Elijah Experience" have gotten the job done against the giants of ECW, but can they get the job done against John Morrison and The Miz? We cut to the backstage area as John Bradshaw Layfield and Armando Estrada were heading for the ring, and up next it was Contract vs Career, as the mean-looking ECW Champion was ready to go one-on-one with Colin Delaney! | COMMERCIAL BREAK |We returned to ECW on Sci-Fi as Joey Styles and Tazz were hyping up WrestleMania XXIV as in just over two weeks, we'd see so much action, such as the "Rated R Superstar" Edge battling the "Phenom" the Undertaker for the World Heavyweight Championship; Randy Orton will defend his WWE Championship in a four-corner elimination match against "Y2J" Chris Jericho, "The Game" Triple H and John Cena; the "Heartbreak Kid" will attempt to put an end to the career of the "Nature Boy" Ric Flair in the Career Threatening match; Eight men putting their bodies on the line for a shot at the WWE/World Heavyweight/ECW Championship, as Lance Cade, John Morrison, Mark Henry, Batista, Montel Vontavious Porter, Shelton Benjamin, Carlito and Jeff Hardy fight in the Money in the Bank ladder match; Plus, monsters collide as RAW's Umaga takes on the "Big Red Monster" from SmackDown, Kane in Brand Supremacy; Additionally, the ECW Championship is on the line in an Extreme Rules match as John Bradshaw Layfield defends the title against the "Straight Edge Superstar" CM Punk; Beth Phoenix defends her WWE Womens Championship against the 2008 Playboy covergirl, Maria in a huge opportunity; Plus a lot more to be added, live on pay-per-view on March 30th! The theme of John Bradshaw Layfield hit to loud boos as the "Wrestling God" himself made his way down the rampway with Armando Estrada, the ECW Champion still looking mean as the General Manager took a microphone. Estrada talked about how disgusted he was with how he was treated last night on RAW at the hands of Mick Foley. Estrada continued, talking about how he is proud to have JBL represent him, as he truly is the driving power behind ECW! The crowd booed, as Estrada talked about how on March 30th, JBL will be victorious, and if he isn't, then he may just very well make CM Punk's life a living hell! Estrada then handed the microphone to JBL as the ECW Champion spoke seriously about how much pain CM Punk will be in on March 30th, when JBL steps in there, he will be all about kicking Punk's ass, he'll beat him from one end of the Citrus Bowl to the other, and Punk won't dare step in the ring with Layfield again tonight. JBL told everyone to pay attention to the ending of Colin Delaney's attempt at gaining a WWE contract, and the end of the ECW Original himself, Tommy Dreamer, because this match was now an Extreme Rules match! The crowd booed loudly as Layfield prepared himself. 3) Colin Delaney def. John Bradshaw Layfield in a non-title Extreme Rules match to gain a WWE contract @ 6:46Colin Delaney looked nervous as he stood eye to eye across the ring from a different John Bradshaw Layfield. He looked as serious as he did when he was in the Acolytes, the APA with Ron Simmons. This JBL was Bradshaw, and when the two locked up, Layfield immediately tossed him to the outside, taking a leather strap from Armando Estrada and leaning Delaney over the barricade, unleashing a fury of leather whippings to the poor rookie! Layfield then sent Colin head-first into the ring steps as he continued to pour down punches on Delaney, then leaving him for a steel chair near the announcers! Layfield cracked Delaney in the skull with a chair, Colin starting to bleed heavily, as Layfield continued with a Cobra clutch, the match only being able to end inside of the ring! Layfield just kept on giving it to Delaney though, Tommy Dreamer banned from ringside in this do-or-die moment for Colin, and he started to fight back, several punches to Layfield, then picking up the steel chair and slamming JBL in the face with it! Delaney covered, but the official reminded the rookie that he had to get John inside the ring to do it, but Armando Estrada appeared, a clothesline from the General Manager! Delaney was down and out, as Layfield got back up and dragged Delaney into the ring! JBL planned to finish Colin with the powerbomb, but Colin slipped out and nailed a DDT out of nowhere, just to get a two count! Estrada then leapt into the ring, a cowboy boot in hand and he just cracked Colin in the head with it! Layfield went to cover, but CM Punk ran down to the ring, a right hand to Estrada, and a dropkick to JBL, his WrestleMania opponent! Punk then delivered the GTS to Layfield, this all legal, as Colin Delaney dragged his ass to the top rope, slowly but surely, and came off with a diving elbow drop before covering for the three! The fans cheered him on as Colin Delaney remained out of it, his face a crimson mask! John Bradshaw Layfield was down and out, as CM Punk helped Delaney to his feet, raising his hand in victory as Tommy Dreamer came out to the rampway, a huge grin on his face, proud of his Rookie for saving his own career, and earning himself a WWE contract! ECW on Sci-Fi went off the air.

Good for Punk to open up the show in his hometown. Well written promo having him call out Estrada and Layfield as I said I'm loving this feud. Punk/McIntyre didn't do a whole lot for me but it was a decent win for Punk in his hometown. Nice Dreamer promo pumping up Delaney, Dreamer/Delaney making a tag run could be interesting as well. Liked the addition of the Late Night with Mayweather, maybe would've preferred if it was as over the top kayfabe as it was but it served it's purpose. Nice to see Miz & Morrison chickening out and making Burke & Benjamin face Henry & V, good win for Burke & Benjamin and liked The Kingston interference. Nice promo by Estrada & Layfield. Delaney going over Layfield due to Punk interfering was obvious but fine booking to further the JBL/Punk feud.
Overall another solid show, seemed like it'd run short though but everything seemed to serve a purpose, good job and look forward to more.

E to the C to the W. A nice opening segment fro CM Punk, really lets him shine. A good victory for Punk to follow it up over Drew McIntyre. Really hope The United Kingdom start picking up steam after WrestleMania. It's extremely obvious that Colin Delaney will somehow beat John 'Bradshaw' Layfield later on. A nice victory for Shelton Benjamin and Elijah Burke, I'm certainly warming to them as a team now. Kofi Kingston distracting Big Daddy V continues their feud as well. As expected, Colin Delaney defeats JBL with help from the #1 Contender, CM Punk. It was necessary to keep Tommy Dreamer around, get Delaney onto the proper roster and of course further the Punk/JBL feud. Overall, a decent episode building the ECW side of WrestleMania.

A really solid promo from Chicago's own CM Punk to kick off the show. Seemed like something you would see Punk cut nowadays. Very nice, however. A great win for him over Drew McIntyre to build more momentum heading into WrestleMania XXIV and JBL. Don't see the United Kingdom lasting much longer, eventually leading to McIntyre's breakout singles run. Shelton Benjamin and Elijah Burke have instantly become my favorite tag team in this diary. Hoping to see them with some gold real soon. A great win for them over the behemoth team of Mark Henry and Big Daddy V, albeit with the interference from Kofi. The main event definitely had that "feel-good upset" vibe. An expected victory for Delaney to get him on the ECW roster. The build-up for Punk/JBL has been nothing short of excellent. An overall good edition of ECW. Looking forward to the rest of the build in the land of extreme heading into WrestleMania.

WWE SmackDown! - Friday 14th March 2008 - Chicago, IL Dark Match: Kenny Dykstra def. Jimmy Wang Yang @ 5:01 after the diving legdrop.A replay from this past Monday night on RAW aired, as the "Rated R Superstar" kicked off the WrestleMania Rewind edition, Edge and Vickie Guerrero talking about how they will dismantle the Undertaker and derail his undefeated streak on the grandest stage of them all as well as talking up his impressive record at WrestleMania, standing at five wins including some classics, against Mick Foley and in the Tables, Ladders and Chairs match. Later that night, it was time for another round as Batista battled the Undertaker once again in another clash of the titans, but it was not meant to be as the World Heavyweight Champion got himself involved, leaving the "Phenom" and the "Animal" down in the ring.
We cut to the ring as the crowd were booing, the ring painted black as we were on the Cutting Edge, a casket seated in the ring, as the theme of the "Rated R Superstar" hit to louder boos, Edge soon making his way out to the ring accompanied by La Familia, as the World Heavyweight Champion as always had his fiancé Vickie Guerrero by his side. He set off his pyrotechnics and headed for the ring as the faction covered the ring, Edge with a microphone in hand as the "Rated R Superstar" welcomed everybody to the Cutting Edge, live from Chicago with great misfortune, as Edge talked about how he was here to set the scenes for SmackDown after the Undertaker's demise of the streak, come March 30th at WrestleMania XXIV. Edge talked about how he couldn't wait to finally put the "Phenom" away, but the creepier part is the irony. The irony that it was the Undertaker who brought Edge to the dance, and that now, after WrestleMania, it will be Edge, the former student, putting an end to the "Deadman" for good! The crowd booed as he went on to ask his guests tonight, La Familia, about their thoughts on the Undertaker. Chavo Guerrero talked about how he worked his ass off to get to the big time, to get to WrestleMania, and here they are, no place on the card for WrestleMania, and it's for people like the Undertaker. Chavo talked about how if 'Taker wasn't around, it'd be Edge taking on Chavo for that World Heavyweight Championship without a doubt! Edge laughed it off as he then asked his loyal Edgeheads. Curt Hawkins talked about how he's been a fan of Edge since he debuted in 1998, and how much hard work and dedication the "Rated R Superstar" has put into his career, that he is finally ready to main event the big one, on the grandest stage of them all at WrestleMania, and retain the World Heavyweight Championship in Orlando, Florida! The crowd got rowdier and rowdier as Zack Ryder agreed with Hawkins' points, talking about how much an inspiration Edge has on him and Hawkins. Edge then went to talk to Vickie, but that's when the theme of Batista hit!
Batista gatecrashed the pre-planned funeral edition of the Cutting Edge as he stood on the rampway, removing his shades with a microphone in hand, the "Animal" asking Edge if he forgot about him. Batista told Edge that it's fine that he's prepping himself up for WrestleMania, and that's fine, he can get excited now, but the fact of the matter is that Edge has done nothing but strike the "Animal" from behind and then cower from the real deal in the past couple of months, and he's just about had enough! Batista called Edge out to a match tonight, to which Vickie Guerrero took the microphone, using her powers as the General Manager of SmackDown to create our main event for tonight's edition, a rematch from RAW this past Monday night, when the "Animal" meets the "Phenom" inside a steel cage! Edge then took the microphone, asking Batista if it reminded him of anything, an evil grin on his face as Batista just accepted it, leaving.
| COMMERCIAL BREAK |
We returned to SmackDown as the other General Manager, Theodore Long stood at ringside, a microphone in hand as he talked about how he was looking forward to representing the superior brand in the WWE when SmackDown's Kane destroys RAW's Umaga at WrestleMania XXIV in three weeks! Teddy then commented on the Money in the Bank ladder match as well, talking about how in three weeks, we will also see a SmackDown superstar win, whether it be Montel Vontavious Porter, Mark Henry or Batista, it doesn't matter! But right here and now we were going to see some interbrand tag team action!
1) Lance Cade, Carlito and Jeff Hardy def. Mark Henry, Montel Vontavious Porter and Kane @ 8:39 This was a preview of two matches as Carlito, Lance Cade, Jeff Hardy, Montel Vontavious Porter and Mark Henry will compete in the Money in the Bank ladder match in sixteen days at WrestleMania XXIV, whereas the "Big Red Monster" Kane will represent SmackDown in a Brand Supremacy match when he goes one-on-one with Umaga from RAW. Kane and Lance Cade started off, as Kane started to dominate Cade, tagging in Montel Vontavious Porter in this odd-combination match. MVP was getting cheered tonight, as he went to work over Cade, who soon mounted a comeback and started to pound back at MVP. Jeff Hardy soon got the tag as he stole the applause of the WWE United States Champion, the "Charismatic Enigma" delivered several flying forearms and soon set up for the Swanton Bomb, but Kane got involved, the Chokeslam off of the top rope from Kane to Hardy! Kane then returned to his corner and reached for the tag, but Umaga suddenly came out of nowhere, knocking Kane off of the apron! Umaga and Kane brawled into the crowd, as the official wasn't watching, and that's where MVP crawled over Jeff for the cheap win!
The crowd booed as Kane and Umaga were nowhere to be seen, Montel Vontavious Porter's arm raised in victory, the WWE United States Champion slithering out with another victory, but he couldn't possibly do this one more time in this manner in sixteen days in Money in the Bank!
We returned to the lobby in the AllState Arena, as Kane and Umaga continued to trade blows, Kane gaining a second wind and sending Umaga over the concession stand, these two continuing to trade blows in a fight over which brand was better, and which giant was stronger! The "Samoan Bulldozer" once again fired back with a clothesline, and the two continued to fight, the security rushing to break up the brawl as rabid fans surrounded them, but Kane and Umaga shoved away the security, continuing their brawl!
We cut dramatically to the locker room area as Chuck Palumbo was taping up his wrists, seemingly with some evil intentions as Josh Mathews wanted to talk to Palumbo about his recent mean streak, as Chuck began to talk about his career path in his tenure in the WWE. He's been looked down on all along, and now he's at the point where he can do whatever the hell he pleases! Palumbo told Josh that he was now out to leave a path of destruction, and the best part was that all of those that tried to stop him would fail! Palumbo promised to use Shannon Moore as a clear example tonight!
| COMMERCIAL BREAK |
We returned to SmackDown as the United Kingdom were seated at ringside, Dave Taylor, Layla and DH Smith stood next to Drew McIntyre, as Drew was on commentary for the upcoming match, talking about their domination of SmackDown as of late.
2) Chuck Palumbo def. Shannon Moore by count-out @ 3:08 Shannon Moore seemed to be quite intimidated by Chuck Palumbo, particularly after what his opponent for tonight did to Jamie Noble last week, taking him out of action, and we have not heard from Noble since. Palumbo tossed Moore across the ring like a ragged doll, as Palumbo continued to deliver the beating to Moore, several forearms raining down on Moore's face before dropping him with a flatliner. Palumbo wasn't quite done yet though, as he continued to torment Moore, finally ending the match with a dramatic Full Throttle right on the floor, rolling back into the ring for a count-out victory!
The crowd booed as Chuck Palumbo celebrated his win, Palumbo with his fists raised, as he began to leave. Meanwhile, Drew McIntyre concluded his talk of dominance of SmackDown with Michael Cole and Jonathan Coachman, and the United Kingdom surrounded Shannon Moore, a huge kick to the ribs from DH Smith! Dave Taylor picked Moore's already defeated carcass into the ring, where he delivered the British Suplex before Smith set up the Running Powerslam, Drew McIntyre on the other side of the ring, the Running Powerslam-powerbomb double-team maneuver rendering Moore unconscious! The United Kingdom departed, another show of dominance from the British!
We cut to the backstage area as the "Animal" Batista was shown, Batista warming up whilst Eve Torres wanted to get a word with Batista just before his steel cage encounter with the Undertaker. Batista told Eve that he wanted to take us back to last May, as Batista was challenging for the World Heavyweight Championship that the Undertaker had inside of a steel cage, and it was in this match that Edge cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase and once again proved himself as the "Ultimate Opportunist". Batista talked about how lightning wouldn't strike twice because he'd love to tear Edge apart once and for all. Batista was then interrupted as Vickie Guerrero appeared, the SmackDown Co-General Manager telling Batista that tonight if he wanted a future World title shot, he'd have to prove it, and to prove it? Tear the Undertaker apart tonight! Vickie walked away as Batista was left, sort of confused.
We cut to the backstage area as the Big Show seemed to be making his way out to the ring, despite the "World's Largest Athlete" residing on the RAW brand, but despite this, the Big Show seemingly had some words to say to Floyd Mayweather, next!
| COMMERCIAL BREAK |
We returned to Friday Night SmackDown as the theme of the Big Show hit to loud boos, the "World's Largest Athlete" slowly making his way out to the hostile crowd here in Chicago, all aware of the previous incident with Floyd "Money" Mayweather a few weeks ago on Monday Night RAW. As Show made his way to the ring, microphone in hand, we cut to footage from the Tonight Show with Jay Leno, as Mayweather was the guest, and he talked badly of the Big Show, threatening to knock Show out, calling him out to the grandest stage of them all, WrestleMania. Show then stood in the ring as we returned, inviting himself to SmackDown to talk about the recent threats from Floyd Mayweather. Show talked about how Mayweather got into his face, and brought on the incident himself one-hundred percent and that therefore he was accountable for all of his actions. Show tells a story of how there was once an annoying little midget that got in his way, and in the end, he was laid out, courtesy of the "World's Largest Athlete". Show continued to talk about how he's a former WWE Champion, and if a tiny, little Welterweight Champion boxer wants to get in his way, maybe he'll get a little fame, and thus create a swift pathway directly targeting the World Heavyweight Championship! The crowd booed as Show told Mayweather that with this, he was accepting the challenge to Mayweather, and he'd see him at WrestleMania, because once he was done with this kid, Mayweather will never be able to use his fast hands ever again! Show then told Mayweather that he'll learn not to go one-on-one with this pissed off 500-pounder when he's doing his business in the ring.
With that, the theme of the Great Khali hit, and out came the "Punjabi Giant" to applause, as the Great Khali proved last week to stick up for himself against Edge, and as always Ranjin Singh joined him, loving it. Show asked Khali and Singh why they were out here, as Khali took the microphone from Show and started speaking in Punjabi, and that's when Singh took the microphone from Khali and told Show in English that Khali has changed his ways, and what he sees before him is an image of his past, and Khali despises what he was! Singh translated that Khali wanted Show one-on-one right here and now! The fans cheered, as Show told Khali that he was on!
An advertisement aired, promoting WWE WrestleMania XXIV, live on pay-per-view on Sunday, March 30th 2008 from Orlando, Florida; 16 days away!
3) The Big Show def. The Great Khali (w/Ranjin Singh) @ 4:42 These two giants nearly weighed a ton combined, and so there was some danger in how well the weight of the ring would hold up with these two monsters inside. The fans were behind the "Punjabi Giant" as Ranjin Singh cheered him on, the two trading some heavy blows, but Show started to get the better of Khali, using some headbutts as well as a knee to the bridge of the nose of the Punjab. Show soon sent Khali through the ropes as the brawl reached ringside, and this is where Show grabbed Ranjin Singh, gorilla pressing him through the ropes into the ring! | COMMERCIAL BREAK | The incredible strength of the "World's Largest Athlete" was shown as Khali followed Show into the ring, Show trying to Chokeslam the translator of the Great Khali, but Khali managed to prevent it, grabbing Show by the throat! Show then grabbed Khali by the throat as well though, as the official nearly had to disqualify both men. Show then speared Khali to the canvas to a great thud, trying to cover just for Khali to kick out! Show prepared his fist as he seemed ready to knock Khali out it seemed, Show having worked on a potential boxing career in his year-long sabbatical from the WWE, but Khali got up and chopped Show in the head, Show stunned, but he rebounded with the knockout punch, and the "Punjabi Giant" went down to the three count!
The crowd booed as the Great Khali remained down, Ranjin Singh rushing to aid his man, meanwhile the "World's Largest Athlete" celebrated his win with the referee, the Big Show seemingly confident headed into Monday night on RAW, among rumors that Floyd Mayweather may be in attendance!
We soon cut to the backstage area, where Kane and Umaga were still exchanging blows, seemingly fighting one more time after a half hour of separation, as the security were trying desperately to break these two brutes up, but the "Samoan Bulldozer" was not approving, shoving most of them down as this allowed Kane to send Umaga down with a huge uppercut! Kane continued his attack on Umaga, setting him up for the Chokeslam off of a loading dock it seemed, but Umaga blocked it, trying a piledriver, but Kane backdropped Umaga off of the loading dock and down into a pile of wooden crates! Security restrained Kane as Umaga remained down, officials rushing to the Samoan's aid.
A brief video clip aired, showing Montel Vontavious Porter cheat to win on various occasions, all to retain that WWE United States Championship. The text then appeared as MVP was shown entering through his blow-up tunnel reading "Mr Money in the Bank?" before the television screen-style clip shut to static and faded out.
A graphic aired, as Michael Cole and Jonathan Coachman talked about the Hall of Fame Class of 2008, Barry Windham, Gordon Solie, Rocky Johnson, Jack & Jerry Brisco currently in the class, and that another inductee would be announced, next!
| COMMERCIAL BREAK |
A video package aired, focused around the career of Eddie Graham. It discussed about how Graham was an outstanding wrestler, debuting in 1947 and achieving fame in the Texas and Florida territories, soon taking over the booking side of things in the Championship Wrestling from Florida promotion. Unfortunately, Graham passed away on January 21, 1985 by suicide, battling a lifelong addiction to alcohol. Nonetheless, Eddie's name lives on as his son Mike Graham continues to play a part in WWE operations, having also worked as a professional wrestler, now assisting in WWE's media division. We cut to Michael Cole and Jonathan Coachman talking about Eddie's accomplishments, revealing that current FCW promoter Dusty Rhodes and Eddie's son, Mike will be inducting him into the 2008 Class of the Hall of Fame.
4) Kofi Kingston def. Matt Striker (w/Big Daddy V) @ 5:41 Kofi Kingston cost Big Daddy V and Mark Henry a big match against Elijah Burke and Shelton Benjamin this past Tuesday night on ECW on Sci-Fi, and so Matt Striker decided to step in in singles action tonight. Striker must have had some ring rust after managing Big Daddy V for the last couple of months, and Kofi took advantage, the "Jamaican Sensation" with several kicks to the thighs of Striker, then outrunning Striker, a springboard crossbody nearly putting the former teacher away just as simple as that! Striker soon fired back though, using his technical moveset to keep Kofi down, working away at the arm, a cross-armbreaker applied at one point. Kofi soon managed to escape it somehow though, and he fired back one more time, catching Striker literally out of nowhere with Trouble in Paradise for the win!
The crowd cheered as Kofi Kingston charged around the ring in victory, as Big Daddy V didn't look pleased, the "Mastodon" trying to enter the ring just for Kofi to spring into V with a dropkick to the chest, knocking the "Mastodon" right down to the floor! V had been humiliated, as had Matt Striker by this very wise rookie from ECW, Kofi Kingston.
We soon went to a video package, as it was set in postcard mode that Jesse and Festus were in Orlando, Florida just three weeks away from WrestleMania XXIV. Jesse talked about the fun that they'd had already, the people were amazing, the Citrus Bowl looks awesome despite not being set up for WrestleMania yet, plus, Festus got some cool new threads! Festus then appeared wearing an "I <3 ORLANDO" cap with a matching hat, as Jesse told us that they'd see us at Orlando!
Meanwhile, we saw the Undertaker walking down a dark corridor, and up next, 'Taker fights Batista one more time inside of a steel cage, in our main event!
| COMMERCIAL BREAK |
We returned to ECW on Sci-Fi as Joey Styles and Tazz were hyping up WrestleMania XXIV as in just over two weeks, we'd see so much action, such as the "Rated R Superstar" Edge battling the "Phenom" the Undertaker for the World Heavyweight Championship; Randy Orton will defend his WWE Championship in a four-corner elimination match against "Y2J" Chris Jericho, "The Game" Triple H and John Cena; the "Heartbreak Kid" will attempt to put an end to the career of the "Nature Boy" Ric Flair in the Career Threatening match; Eight men putting their bodies on the line for a shot at the WWE/World Heavyweight/ECW Championship, as Lance Cade, John Morrison, Mark Henry, Batista, Montel Vontavious Porter, Shelton Benjamin, Carlito and Jeff Hardy fight in the Money in the Bank ladder match; Plus, monsters collide as RAW's Umaga takes on the "Big Red Monster" from SmackDown, Kane in Brand Supremacy; Additionally, the ECW Championship is on the line in an Extreme Rules match as John Bradshaw Layfield defends the title against the "Straight Edge Superstar" CM Punk; Beth Phoenix defends her WWE Womens Championship against the 2008 Playboy covergirl, Maria in a huge opportunity; Plus, just added, the Big Show will do battle with the Welterweight Champion boxer, Floyd "Money" Mayweather, and a lot more to be added, live on pay-per-view on March 30th!
5) The Undertaker vs Batista; no contest in a Steel-Cage match @ 13:36 This was it, another match between the two rivals of WrestleMania 23 last year, and of course it spanned into the steel cage rematch for the World Heavyweight Championship on SmackDown last May, which resulted in Edge cashing in Money in the Bank and leaving the Undertaker injured, taking him out for half of 2007. The "Deadman" and the "Animal" were motivated to beat the crap out of each other, as instructed by Vickie Guerrero to Batista, possibly to weaken the "Phenom" just sixteen days shy of his World Heavyweight Championship encounter with Edge at WrestleMania XXIV. Both men attempted to exit the cage via the walls, but each attempt was flawed by the other man, as both men could not afford defeat at this stage. The "Animal" reversed Old School into the Batista Bomb at one point, but it only resulted at a two count. The Undertaker in retaliation reversed the second Batista Bomb into a guillotine choke, but Batista managed to turn it around into a spinebuster! These two men were broken and bruised nearly ten minutes into it, when suddenly the "Deadman" and the "Animal" came to blows, Batista eventually missing the right hand and falling into the Tombstone Piledriver, and 'Taker tried to leave through the cage door, but Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins blocked the access, slamming the cage door into 'Taker's head! With that done, Batista started moving, trying to climb the wall but Ryder and Hawkins started climbing up the cage wall to meet him, and that's when Edge ran down to ringside, a big boot for the referee! The "Rated R Superstar" then stole the key to the cage door, grabbing two steel chairs and throwing them through the door into the ring! 'Taker was still down as Edge slid into the ring, Batista face to face with Edge, and then 'Taker sat up!
The crowd were going crazy as Edge tried to go for a chair but Batista did as well, Edge with a low blow to the "Animal"! Edge delivered a chair shot to the spine of Batista, followed up with a Spear, as 'Taker approached Edge from behind, trying for a Chokeslam but Ryder and Hawkins got into the ring through the door, the conchairto to the "Deadman"! Edge then delivered a Spear for good measures, as Edge positioned a chair under 'Taker's head and prepared the one-man conchairto, 'Taker left down and out! Edge celebrated with Hawkins and Ryder, supreme as SmackDown went off the air!

SmackDown: I haven't been following this, really, though I have looked in a bit but obviously I haven't been about until recently so here we go. Good start to the show with La Familia, I like how you show the power it has by making the main event for later tonight as it continues to make Edge seem more likely to defeat Undertaker going into Mania. Batista vs. Undertaker in a Steel Cage is a huge Main Event for SmackDown! too big? not heading into Mania, but at any other time, maybe. I like the idea of Kane vs. Umaga at WrestleMania, as it differs from real life, the Money in the Bank participants look good, I would say Cade is random but I remember you had him have a huge moment in the Rumble, so it makes sense. You got the winners the wrong way round man but still, I like MVP getting the pin. I like the idea of a little United Kingdom group, fronted by McIntyre. Palumbo over Moore is fine I guess here, but what really mattered is the dominance of the United Kingdom, I like it. Building towards the Show vs. Mayweather match is cool, Show over Khali makes sense too, as it makes Big Show look strong. Umaga and Kane still fighting is good, as there is no real story behind the match, this is making it seem much more important. ECW match on SmackDown is alright I guess, since the Main Event sounds so good! Right, I'll quickly look over your 'Mania card. LOVE Jericho being in the WWE Championship Match, should've happen really, it makes his return seem more special. HBK vs. Flair is good, Batista looks so awkward in Money in the Bank, but the rest are just fine. Umaga vs. Kane, obviously is good, CM Punk vs. JBL is great and the Extreme Rules stip makes it alot more important. Beth vs. Maria is cool, good way to promote the Playboy cover. Loved the main event, totally perfect, with Edge coming out on top, he needs to look like a viable threat to the streak as 'Taker is a tough opponent at Mania. Batista still seems so much more important than Money in the Bank. Great show man, I really liked it, from here you have a reader as I adore this period.

Smackdown!: A nice recap from the past episode of RAW. It seemed like a boring edition of "The Cutting Edge". But a nice way to set up a HUGE main event for the evening. Teddy Long putting Kane in the match was different. I would have included Umaga on Team RAW. A nice win for Raw leading into the MitB. BTW, it says MVP got the cheap win on Hardy, but Team RAW won. A little confusing if you ask me. United Kingdom is a weird name, it could have a better name though. A nice win making Palumbo look good. Poor Moore getting attacked by The UK. Nice interview from Batista. Show verus Maywether could make some good publicity. Show beating Khali was good. Kane and Umaga still fighting seems a little weird, Time filler, I guess. Eddie Ghrahma being inducted is cool, I guess? A ECW match on Smackdown? I think it should have been saved for ECW, though. Another time filler match? I'm guessing we're watching ECW on Sci-Fi instead of Smackdown? NO-Contest! Come-on I wanted to see a good cage match! But it's a good way of advancing the feud. I don't see 'Tista winning the MitB though. It was a good show.

WWE.com: Industry News Written by John C. on 03/16/08 Re-injury concerns There have been increasing concerns on the condition of John Cena, as many believe that the former WWE Champion has arrived too soon from injury, although when officials have approached Cena about these concerns, Cena has been recorded as saying: "I believe that I'm in great condition, and that is no lie. I came back for two things. One, to injure Randy Orton and take him out of action just like the "Viper" did to me. And two, to recapture that glorious WWE Championship. That's all I have to say, there's no way I'm missing out on WrestleMania."
The Miz and Morrison: The cockiest tag team in sports entertainment history? The Dirtsheet this past Wednesday as delivered by the Miz and John Morrison portrayed the two dressing up as various different tag teams, and parodying them all in a negative manner, in particular, DX. The two began to talk about Shawn Michaels' demons of the past, and Triple H's company ties, all a way to keep John Morrison and the Miz down on ECW. "Triple H and Shawn Michaels are nothing but hasbeens who believe that they are the greatest ever, and should be on top of everything", uttered an angered Miz as he dressed as the "Cerebral Assassin", handlebar mustache to boot. They also portrayed other tag teams of the past, from the Rockers, the Hart Foundation, even Demolition and the Legion of Doom. The responses from several company higher-ups were negative, as several WWE agents such as Ricky Steamboat and John Laurinaitis have commented, hoping that the two lose their titles to Shelton Benjamin and Elijah Burke very soon.
Statistics RAW pulls a 4.0 rating this past week ECW pulls a 1.4 rating this past week SmackDown! pulls a 2.7 rating this past week

Cutting Edge to open the show was good, it was a well written segment and Edge/Taker should be a lot of fun. 6 man tag was alright though Kane feels like the odd man out and Batista feels like the odd man out of the MITB match at Mania. Though good to see you further the Umaga/Kane rivalry and nice to see MVP pick up the victory over Jeff. The Palumbo/Moore and United Kingdom post match beat down didn't really do a whole lot for me. Liked Vickie telling Batista to tear Taker apart. Good Big Show promo on Mayweather and a nice victory for him knocking out Khali. Liked Umaga and Kane still brawling. I like your HOF class but it feels like there would've been a bigger name announced by now, I guess you're savig Flair or someone for the last announcement, even though I'd think they'd be the first. Kingston/Striker seemed like pure filler. Good main event between Taker and Batista, liked Edge coming out and nailing the conchairto. Overall I'd say it was an average show, there was some good stuff in there but it seemed like there was a fair amount of the show where nothing was really happening. But good stuff looking forward to Mania.

I'm heeeeeere!
A nice way to open up with The Cutting Edge, pretty much used for Edge to big himself up going into WrestleMania, and he does need all the hyping he can get since he's clearly going to lose. A nice interruption by Batista and a huge Main Event for tonight's episode. A nice win for the Raw team, especially after Teddy Long just said SmackDown was guaranteed a victory at WrestleMania. Umaga coming out to take out Kane was for the best of their feud. Interesting to have Chuck Palumbo claim the countout victory, but I feel like he wouldn't even want to do that and instead would have just got himself counted out to prove that he isn't about winning, but about inflicting punishment. But either way is fine. Great to see The United Kingdom decimate Shannon Moore after the match. Poor Shannon; he shouldn't have a girl's name. Big Show versus The Great Khali has and always will be a dreadful encounter, but it's good to see Big Show on the winning end with his Knockout Punch, I'm wondering if you'll have Mayweather lose to the giant. Good to see the Kane/Umaga brawl continuing backstage. A good victory for Kofi Kingston over Matt Striker and once again getting the better of Big Daddy V. A No Contest was obviously for the best here, and like I said earlier, it's good to have Edge stand tall because he needs it when he's approaching an inevitable loss. Overall, a good SmackDown.

WWE Monday Night RAW - Monday 17th March 2008 - Lafayette, LA NOW IN HD!Dark Match: Paul Burchill (w/Katie Lea Burchill) def. Jim Duggan @ 4:38 after the Rolling Cutter. The opening video package for WWE Monday Night RAW aired, before we cut to the live, sold-out Cajundome in Lafayette for RAW, with WrestleMania XXIV on the horizon, in just under two weeks! Pyrotechnics greeted us to the show, before Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler welcomed us, promoting tonight's line-up, as we will hear from Chris Jericho on the Highlight Reel later tonight, with John Cena as his special guest, but also, the "Cerebral Assassin" Triple H will take on Umaga, and we get to see eight-man tag team action as Jeff Hardy, Batista, Shelton Benjamin and John Morrison take on Mark Henry, Montel Vontavious Porter, Carlito and Lance Cade! The theme of Floyd Mayweather hit to kick off RAW to a surprise, as the fans began to cheer, Mayweather then making his way down the rampway to a positive reaction, the Welterweight Champion of the World stating previously that he would be here in Lafayette tonight to confront the Big Show, and apparently he wasn't kidding. Mayweather got into the ring and took a microphone, but just before he started talking, the theme of the Big Show hit, and out came the "World's Largest Athlete", a smirk on his face as he had a microphone, asking Mayweather why he was so eager to get here right here and now on RAW. Show talked about how he expected Floyd to no-show tonight, because he knows that the Show has accepted his challenge for WrestleMania, and so he thought that he would hide from the most intimidating man in the WWE today, the Big Show, until thirteen days from now, where regardless, the Big Show would knock Mayweather's head off of his shoulders like a human kickball! Floyd talked about how he didn't believe that Show was more than talk. Mayweather told Show that he believes that he can kick down all of the little people, whether it be here in the WWE, on RAW, or out in the real world, but when you get smashmouth with the Welterweight Champion, a professional boxer? That's when Show gets his mouth smashed! The fans popped as Show shook his head, climbing into the ring slowly as he continued, telling Mayweather that he wasn't afraid of his fists, in fact, that's the least of his concerns! What matters to the "World's Largest Athlete" is that he is unstrikeable. Mayweather can't reach him from "down there", at WrestleMania, this undefeated boxer will get his ass knocked out at the hands of the Big Show! Mayweather asked Show about how he was on a level basis, to which Floyd challenged the former WWE Champion to get on his knees and allow himself to get struck by the Welterweight Champion's "useless from down there" punches! Show laughed simply, telling Mayweather that it would prove that he wasn't intimidated by this scrawny little doll rag, before kneeling down to both knees; and that's where Floyd delivered three powerful punches in a row, and Show fell down on his ass! Show was bleeding from the mouth, as Show got back up slowly and ran off Mayweather, the fans cheering for Floyd as he had gotten the better of the "World's Largest Athlete", but the Big Show was now one angry giant! We cut to the backstage area as John Cena was shown standing by with Mike Adamle, as Adamle asked Cena about tonight's edition of the Highlight Reel, Cena telling Mike that he wasn't going to divulge much information, because he was going to leave it all out there in the ring tonight with Chris Jericho, regarding everything from Randy Orton, to WrestleMania XXIV, to the WWE Championship! Cena then went to leave, but suddenly that's when Randy Orton shoved Cena! The "Viper" appeared as Cena got in Orton's face, Cena ready for a fight, Adamle and a few road agents getting in between, but as the two stood face to face, Cena looked serious; Orton simply grinned and laughed before walking away! Cena wasn't in a good mood now. | COMMERCIAL BREAK |We cut to a replay of what happened moments ago, with the Big Show interrupting Floyd Mayweather and Mayweather challenging the "World's Largest Athlete" to take a hit from his knees, to which Show accepted, just to get struck in the face three times, bloodying his nose and leaving Show to fall on his ass, Mayweather riding off into the sunset just like that. We were expected to hear from William Regal on the situation and the game plan for Show vs Mayweather at WrestleMania later tonight. 1) Jeff Hardy, Batista, Shelton Benjamin and John Morrison def. Montel Vontavious Porter, Mark Henry, Carlito and Lance Cade (w/Matt Striker) @ 8:22The Money in the Bank preview match, where all eight men had to be aware of one another, for in thirteen days these eight men will compete for a prestigious briefcase, whilst having to overcome the other seven and climb a ladder for the prize of a future World Championship opportunity. Jeff Hardy and Shelton Benjamin started off well with double-team moves for Lance Cade and Carlito, but soon it was Mark Henry who slowed the "Gold Standard" down, as the "World's Strongest Man" began to dominate, working over the ribs with a splash, to nearly get the win. Benjamin soon fought his way out of a sleeper hold at the hands of Cade, and made the tag to John Morrison, and just when the "Tuesday Night Delight" seemed ready to compete, he sucker punched his rival from ECW, Benjamin! Morrison grinned before tagging in Batista and leaving! Batista nonetheless overcame the odds, with the Batista Bomb delivered to MVP, followed up with the Swanton Bomb from Jeff for the win! The crowd cheered as Jeff Hardy and Batista celebrated their win, helping Shelton Benjamin to his feet, as the three raised their hands in celebration, whilst Montel Vontavious Porter, Mark Henry, Carlito and Lance Cade all started to argue around ringside, a brawl kicking off! Batista, Jeff and Benjamin got involved, as Batista started clearing house, it coming down to Batista and Jeff, and that's when Batista rose Jeff's hand before clotheslining his head off! Batista looked mean and determined, every man for themselves on March 30th! We cut to the backstage area to see Shawn Michaels making his way down a corridor, before he was suddenly stopped by John Bradshaw Layfield. JBL asked Shawn how he was, mentioning how long it had been, the ECW Champion seemingly all glee tonight on RAW. Shawn simply muttered as Layfield talked about how glad he was that Shawn had joined the fleet to take the "Nature Boy" out of wrestling forever! The "Heartbreak Kid" shook his hand and squeezed, swiftly telling the "Wrestling God" that he hadn't joined any fleet, that he was doing this for Ric Flair's own good, and that on March 30th JBL can applaud all he likes, but HBK did this for himself, and that's all he has to say to Layfield! Michaels continued walking, as he will be in action later on tonight. An advertisement aired, promoting WWE WrestleMania XXIV, live on pay-per-view on Sunday, March 30th 2008 from Orlando, Florida; two weeks away! | COMMERCIAL BREAK |We cut to the General Manager's office as William Regal was stood to greet the audience here in Lafayette, as the General Manager talked about how WrestleMania XXIV is coming up in thirteen days, and how he realizes that he hasn't been around so much recently, but he is back to support the RAW brand at WrestleMania, for on March 30th, a RAW superstar will leave as the Money in the Bank winner with his briefcase; but also, he assured us that the "Samoan Bulldozer" Umaga would destroy SmackDown's Kane in the Brand Supremacy match; this was met with boos. Regal continued, talking about the fatal four-way match, and how big that is, and how it demolishes anything that SmackDown has to offer for sure. He promoted Floyd Mayweather and the Big Show's match, and talked about how he was going to enforce some ground rules for the match; speaking of the infamous Boxer vs Wrestler match in the 1970s starring Muhammad Ali and Antonio Inoki. Well, the match will go like that, but the only way to pick up the win will be to knock your opponent out for ten, and no "garbage" such as disqualifications or count-outs! Regal promised a good time, but that was when Triple H walked in! The fans cheered as the RAW GM asked the "Game" what he wanted, as Hunter spoke about how it was good to see him again, then asking Regal if he was ready to see him claim the WWE Championship on March 30th. Regal told Triple H that he'd like that, but he doesn't like his chances. Hunter laughed, slapping Regal on the back and reminding him how he liked him once. Hunter reminded Regal comically not to piss him off again or he'd be paying a visit to the hospital. Triple H walked away, as Regal shook his head, talking about the lack of respect he has received. 2) Santino Marella and Beth Phoenix def. Maria and Jerry Lawler @ 4:26This match went under intergender rules, as Beth Phoenix laid the challenge out to Maria several weeks ago through Santino Marella, as Marella and Phoenix have evolved their somewhat bizarre relationship in recent weeks, Marella becoming a rival of RAW commentator, Jerry the "King" Lawler. Lawler was ready to lay into Santino, but Beth Phoenix simply got in the way, and the "Glamazon" began to start attacking Maria, whilst Maria fought back, an impressive hurricanrana from Maria taking the champion down. Maria was trying to lure Santino into the ring, but the fiery Italian wouldn't take the bait, but that's when Maria had a better idea, talking to Lawler in the corner, seemingly distracted. But that's when Santino took the tag from the WWE Womens Champion and rushed over to Maria, rolling his ex-girlfriend up for the win! The crowd booed as Santino Marella swiftly rolled out of the ring and dropped to his knees in victory, whilst Beth Phoenix seemed somewhat dumbfounded by what had just occurred! Maria looked disgusted whilst Jerry Lawler was angry, the "King" chasing Marella and Phoenix up the rampway, but surely Maria and Lawler wouldn't stand for this in two weeks, when Maria challenges for the WWE Womens Championship! Suddenly we see Umaga making his way down a corridor accompanied by the RAW General Manager, William Regal trying to motivate the "Samoan Bulldozer", as Umaga takes on Triple H, next! | COMMERCIAL BREAK |3) Triple H def. Umaga (w/William Regal) by disqualification @ 8:46This was expected to be a clash of the titans, as William Regal accompanied the "Samoan Bulldozer" tonight supposedly to support the man that would lead RAW into the Brand Supremacy match against SmackDown's Kane in two weeks at WrestleMania, but it could have also been to try and get back at Triple H for apparently "disrespecting" the General Manager of RAW just moments ago. Triple H had a blast with Umaga in the early moments, leading him charging into turnbuckles, and Hunter continued his combat with clotheslines, lefts and rights; practically anything to try and take down the "Samoan Bulldozer". But Umaga soon began to fight back, a shuffle sidekick out of nowhere to take Triple H down. One of three contenders to the WWE Championship was brought to his knees as Umaga applied a nerve grip, then connecting with a successful fury of headbutts, followed up with a belly-to-back suplex! Regal motivated Umaga more, telling him to pound away at Triple H more, to make the "Game" suffer! Umaga continued to drop elbows across the back of Hunter, not allowing him to get up, and that's when Regal wandered to the announce table and picked up a steel chair, tossing it to Umaga, who planted the chair into Hunter's skull! The crowd booed as the official called for the bell, Umaga with a Samoan Spike handy for the referee! William Regal grinned evilly as Triple H remained down, Regal placing the chair over Triple H's chest as Umaga went up, Regal yelling at Hunter not to disrespect him again, and that's when Umaga came off of the top rope with the Wild Samoan Splash! Umaga and Regal were a mean combination as they began to leave, Triple H riving in pain; he can't afford this with his WWE Championship match just two weeks away! We suddenly cut to a monitor backstage, as Chris Jericho was shown watching it, Y2J grinning at the fact that one of his oppositions for WrestleMania XXIV may have just been eliminated from the WWE Championship match! A video package aired, focused around the career of the Funk Brothers, Terry and Dory Funk Jr. The two were trained by father, Dory Funk Sr as both began their individual wrestling careers in the 1960s, Terry succeeding in winning the NWA World Heavyweight Championship 1975 from Jack Brisco. However, Dory also won the big NWA title as he won the NWA World Heavyweight Championship from Gene Kiniski on February 11, 1969, holding the title for an outstanding four years, defending the title around the globe. Both men were also quite popular in Japan, Terry succeeding in the hardcore department, giving himself the rightful nickname as the "Hardcore Legend". Both men also succeeded in tag team action, but as Dory began to start training at the Funking Conservatory Professional Wrestling School, Terry continued, living on his name in Extreme Championship Wrestling, World Championship Wrestling, as well as the WWE. The Class of 2008 are proud to introduce Dory Funk Jr and Terry Funk to the Hall of Fame! | COMMERCIAL BREAK |The theme of the "Nature Boy" Ric Flair was playing as we returned to Monday Night RAW, as good old Naitch was making his way to the announce table, where Flair was scheduled to join Jim Ross and Jerry "The King" Lawler for this next match, scheduled to feature the "Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels taking on the WWE Intercontinental Champion tonight, Mr Kennedy. 4) Mr Kennedy def. Shawn Michaels in a non-title match by count out @ 7:32Mr Kennedy didn't seem impressed tonight as he reached up to the skies for his microphone during his entrance, just to discover that his microphone was golden! Kennedy seemed to be ticked off about Goldust playing games with him, but Shawn Michaels wasn't in the mood for games either, as the "Heartbreak Kid" started to take the WWE Intercontinental Champion down several times, HBK getting the crowd behind him whilst focusing on Ric Flair, and telling his former idol that his time was near, continuously taking his eye off of the prize. This allowed Kennedy to gain control, as he proceeded to work over Michaels' shoulder, Kennedy also taunting Ric Flair, tossing him out of the ring and slamming him into the announce table, Flair getting in Kennedy's face! | COMMERCIAL BREAK | Kennedy continued as he went for the Mic Check in the ring, but HBK slipped out of it, the Sweet Chin Music connecting on Kennedy! Shawn however rolled out of the ring and stared at Flair from behind the announce table, HBK uncharacteristically getting himself counted out! The crowd booed as Ric Flair asked Shawn Michaels what he was doing, the "Nature Boy" simply gaining a smile out of the "Heartbreak Kid", Shawn once again telling Ric that it would be great to finally put him out of his misery, much like Old Yeller. Flair shook his head and went to leave, Michaels holding onto Flair's blazer sleeve, before laying Flair out with Sweet Chin Music! The crowd booed Michaels as he began to leave, and this could be Flair's fate after March 30th! We cut to the backstage area as Floyd Mayweather was shown, when Todd Grisham decided to appear for an interview after what transpired earlier tonight. The Welterweight Champion told Todd honestly that he had no reason to be intimidated by the Big Show if he could knock him on his ass and humiliate as easy as he did earlier tonight! And what he said on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno a few weeks ago? Wasn't going to change! He talked about how Show claims to now box because of his "iron" right hand, but he hasn't met Floyd in the ring yet. But that's when the Big Show suddenly appeared, the "World's Largest Athlete" sizing up Mayweather, telling Floyd to stop trash talking him to puny interviewers. But that's when Bobby Lashley appeared, getting in the middle of the two! Show asked what Lashley wanted, to which Bobby responded, announcing that he was going to be in the corner of Mayweather during their match at WrestleMania! Lashley warned Show to "watch his back" before leaving, Mayweather following. | COMMERCIAL BREAK |Mr Kennedy was shown walking through a corridor as we returned to RAW, the WWE Intercontinental Champion seemingly still not pleased about Goldust's golden microphone gag a few minutes ago. Kennedy soon ran into Cody Rhodes and Hardcore Holly, as the World Tag Team Champions heckled Kennedy for being the butt of Goldust's schemes, to which Kennedy grabbed Cody by his collar, but Hardcore got in the way, scaring Kennedy off! Kennedy yelled at Cody down the corridor, telling him that he wanted his brother Goldust, in the ring next Monday night on RAW! Holly and Rhodes continued their discussion regarding WrestleMania. We returned to the Cajundome as John Bradshaw Layfield had braced us with his presence, the ECW Champion stood in the ring as JBL began to talk about how he was just thirteen days away from cementing himself into WrestleMania history as being the man that fixed ECW! He talked about how he has evolved the product, and changed it for the better, but before taking all of the praise, he'd like to thank his WrestleMania XXIV opponent beforehand for being such a good dummy, allowing to be tortured. CM Punk! The crowd cheered Punk's name but booed Layfield's claims, as JBL talked about how he wanted to prove a little initiation tonight, and that is by having himself take on an original ECW legend, in an Extreme Rules match right here and now, and if CM Punk appears once, then he shall prove himself to be unworthy of the ECW Championship, unworthy of facing this "Wrestling God", and unworthy of even being on the grandest stage of them all, WrestleMania XXIV! Layfield then proceeded to welcome out his legendary ECW opponent...Super Crazy? 5) John Bradshaw Layfield def. Super Crazy in a non-title Extreme Rules match @ 4:14Everyone was dumbfounded as John Bradshaw Layfield challenged Super Crazy to a test of strength, completely taking advantage of the former insane luchadore of ECW, manhandling him in fact. The ECW Champion tossed him around the ring with hip tosses, suplexes and a personal kick to the spine, but Super Crazy soon began to rebound, getting his payback with stiff kicks of his own, and then proceeding to plant the "Wrestling God" with a top rope moonsault! Crazy tried to follow up with a second, but Layfield managed to get his knees up this time around. JBL then delivered his patented Powerbomb to Crazy, but that wasn't enough for the ECW Champion, as he left the ring and secured a trash can and a singapore cane! Layfield prepared the can over a groggy Crazy's head as he then slammed the singapore cane relentlessly into the cane, possibly doing a lot of damage to Crazy's face and upperbody! Layfield finished with the Clothesline From Hell for an easy victory! The crowd booed loudly as the ECW Champion's hand was raised in victory, John Bradshaw Layfield seemingly sending a message to CM Punk, his opponent for in thirteen days for that ECW Championship; ECW seemingly in jeopardy under the rule of the JBL Era! We cut to Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler as they were hyping up WrestleMania XXIV as in just under two weeks, we'd see so much action, such as the "Rated R Superstar" Edge battling the "Phenom" the Undertaker for the World Heavyweight Championship; Randy Orton will defend his WWE Championship in a four-corner elimination match against "Y2J" Chris Jericho, "The Game" Triple H and John Cena; the "Heartbreak Kid" will attempt to put an end to the career of the "Nature Boy" Ric Flair in the Career Threatening match; Eight men putting their bodies on the line for a shot at the WWE/World Heavyweight/ECW Championship, as Lance Cade, John Morrison, Mark Henry, Batista, Montel Vontavious Porter, Shelton Benjamin, Carlito and Jeff Hardy fight in the Money in the Bank ladder match; Plus, monsters collide as RAW's Umaga takes on the "Big Red Monster" from SmackDown, Kane in Brand Supremacy; Additionally, the ECW Championship is on the line in an Extreme Rules match as John Bradshaw Layfield defends the title against the "Straight Edge Superstar" CM Punk; Beth Phoenix defends her WWE Womens Championship against the 2008 Playboy covergirl, Maria in a huge opportunity; Plus, just added, the Big Show will do battle with the Welterweight Champion boxer, Floyd "Money" Mayweather, and a lot more to be added, live on pay-per-view on March 30th! We cut to the backstage area as John Cena was shown walking through a corridor, as Chris Jericho walked down another, and up next, Y2J unveils this exciting edition of the Highlight Reel with special guest, none other than John Cena! | COMMERCIAL BREAK |We returned to Monday Night RAW as Chris Jericho's theme hit to a solid reaction from the Cajundome crowd in Fayetteville, the "Ayotollah of Rock 'n' Rolla" strutting his stuff all of the way down to the ring, where his Highlight Reel was all set up for this main event segment of RAW. Chris Jericho stood in the ring with a microphone and welcomed everybody to RAW is Jericho, talking about how it was just four months ago when Y2J said that he would be returning to save the fans across the world of the WWE, and their abysmal television, and their abysmal stars, to cure their boredom and replace it with the finest form of entertainment that this company has deprived them of for a long, long time! Jericho then commented on how it had been six years since he last hold the WWE Championship, but not just the WWE Championship - the Undisputed Championship! The one that he beat Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock in the same night to beat! Y2J followed up again, talking about how it was three years ago when John Cena stole his dream, stole in what he thought was his WWE Championship, and took away his job with the WWE! And in the time he was gone, Cena has decimated the company to a pit of critical impact, so much that he believes it's almost impossible to save the fans everywhere in the world at this point! The crowd booed this, as Y2J spoke strangely, talking of an alternative, about winning the big one, shocking the world, and claiming that WWE Championship once again at WrestleMania XXIV, in the Citrus Bowl in Miami, Florida in thirteen days! Jericho went to continue, but the theme of John Cena couldn't wait much longer! The fans gave a more mixed reaction to Cena in comparison to in recent weeks, as Cena made his way down to the ring, saluting the crowd before glaring at Chris Jericho, Y2J handing him a microphone as Jericho spoke about the honor it was to have his guest appear, prematurely, but nevermind. Jericho grinned as Cena told Jericho that he sensed animosity, like Y2J hated him. Cena told Jericho that he didn't blame him, considering the circumstances in which Y2J was forced to leave all those years ago. Jericho told Cena that he predicted that he was going to say that, considering Cena was so terribly predictable, so he has prepared the Jerichotron 5000 to play footage from a past edition of Monday Night RAW. It backtracked to show the August 22, 2005 edition, where John Cena managed to defeat Chris Jericho to retain the WWE Championship, thus forcing Y2J per stipulation to leave RAW. Jericho was dragged out kicking and screaming, and we soon cut to the live arena where Cena was smirking. Y2J told Cena that there was obviously animosity, he's waited three years for some retribution, and now is his time. Y2J talked about how he had business with every man in this match on March 30th, because unbeknownst to Cena, this is Y2J's destiny. Not only to become the WWE Champion on the grandest stage of them all, WrestleMania. Not only to become the showstealer at WrestleMania. But to take out three men in which he despises so very much; Triple H, Randy Orton, John Cena. And on March 30th, he wants them all to fall, fall to the Codebreaker, the Walls of Jericho, whatever it takes. And he's ready. Jericho glared into Cena's eyes with intensity as Cena told Y2J of his destiny, to return from injury, to overcome all of the odds thrown in his path, and once again become the WWE Champion, when nobody thought he could do it! Cena told Y2J that there is a fire that is burning inside of him, and it tells him to win. Night in and night out, as many nights of a year as he possibly can! And he wasn't letting Chris Jericho get in the way of that. The two continued to glare into each others' eyes, hearts and souls before suddenly Randy Orton jumped the ring, the inverted neckbreaker to John Cena! Y2J came eye to eye with Randy Orton, as Y2J and the "Viper" traded blows, the WWE Champion fighting for his title, Jericho for his destiny, Jericho trying the Codebreaker just for Orton to toss Y2J off, the RKO attempted, but Jericho reversed as well! Triple H then limped down to the ring, taped ribs and all, joining in the battle, as the "Game" sent the "One Man Dynasty" into the Jerichotron 5000! Hunter taunted Chris Jericho as Y2J looked in fright from ringside, Cena suddenly coming from behind with the FU! Cena stood in the middle of the ring as Y2J applauded Cena from ringside, Orton and Hunter down in the ring, RAW going off the air! WWE HEAT - Sunday 23rd March 2008 Ashley and Candice Michelle def. Nice way to open the show with Mayweather cutting a promo on Show and putting over the fact that he poses a real threat to Show. Right now it seems like all you are doing with the MITB competitors is tag matches, hopefully we see some evolution beyond that, I liked the post match brawl and Batista attacking Hardy though. Liked the JBL/Michaels interaction backstage, was well done. Enjoyed the Regal/Triple H stuff as well. I kind of wish you would've went down a different path for the women's championship, this one doesn't really interest me. Umaga getting himself disqualified was good and then crushing Triple H after. I liked the Kennedy/Michaels match and Michaels attention of Flair and laying him out with SCM. Show/Lashley/Mayweather segment was fun. Liked the JBL promo and him destroying Super Crazy. Liked the Highlight Reel to end the show, twas well done and I liked Randy Orton coming out and attacking, didn't really like Triple H coming out wish you would've sold the injury more. Liked Cena standing tall and Jericho applauding.
Overall it twas a good show, looking forward to you getting to Mania

It's been a while, but I'm going to pretty much sum up the past week. We're getting closer to WrestleMania and all the feuds are heating up. The WWE Championship fatal four-way match has taken a great turn by having personal feelings involved and making more than just a championship match. It appears Edge might have the edge over the Undertaker going into the World Heavyweight Championship match. I like the booking of the Shawn Michaels/Ric Flair match, with HBK determined to put "Old Yeller" out of his misery. The Beth Phoenix/Maria match-up for the Women's Championship can be good, especially since Maria seems driven to prove that she's no pushover for the Glamazon. It's nice to see Bobby Lashley get involved in the Floyd "Money" Mayweather/Big Show feud by backing the former. It really adds something to the match at WrestleMania. It seems anyone can walk out victorious in the Money-in-the-Bank ladder match. The same thing goes for the Battle for Brand Supremacy. The ECW World Championship match between John Bradshaw Layfield and CM Punk is one match I'm looking forward to because it has JBL claiming to be the savior of ECW while CM Punk is out to restore the honor of ECW by dethroning the "Wrestling God." Finally, I'm warming up to the idea of Mr. Kennedy/Goldust for the Intercontinental Championship. You have the current champion in Kennedy taking on an established veteran in Goldust, so it could help Kennedy in the long run. Like you said, at least it gets Kennedy on the card. Good work thus far. Keep up the good work.

ECW on Sci-Fi - Tuesday 18th March 2008 - Biloxi, MS NOW IN HD!The opening video package for ECW on Sci-Fi aired, as we cut to the Coast Coliseum in Biloxi, Mississippi for another exciting edition of ECW, just twelve days away from the grandest spectacle of them all, WrestleMania XXIV. Joey Styles and Tazz introduced us to the show before introducing us to their addition to the commentary desk for the night, Armando Estrada, the General Manager of ECW! Estrada talked about tonight, having assigned a huge six man tag team main event, as CM Punk teams with Shelton Benjamin and Elijah Burke to take on John Bradshaw Layfield, John Morrison and The Miz. 1) Kofi Kingston and Funaki def. Big Daddy V and Matt Striker @ 5:31This was a strange match, as we haven't seen Funaki in months, but he was here to offer a helping hand to the "Jamaican Sensation" as Kofi Kingston has had trouble with Big Daddy V in previous weeks, the "Mastodon" having tried to defeat Kofi just to lose via count-out, disqualification, and last Friday Night on SmackDown Kofi pulled off a big win against Matt Striker, so Striker was now as vexed as V was. Funaki was destroyed by Striker in the opening moments, as he soon tagged in Big Daddy V who seemed quite content in dismantling the Japanese superstar with furious elbow drops, lefts and rights, as well as the avalanche splash in the corner. But Funaki soon got away from Striker, dodging an enzuigiri and leaping to Kofi, and Kofi proceeded to clear house, several chops and dropkicks for Striker, soon followed up with the Boom Drop! Kofi saw the "Mastodon" trying to enter the ring to cut Kofi off, and so Kingston nailed him right in the head with Trouble in Paradise! Kofi then set Striker up and nailed him with a sweeping STO (known as the 'SOS' according to Joey Styles) for the win! The crowd cheered as Kofi Kingston celebrated his win, helping Funaki to his feet, and the two proceeded to raise each others' hand, whilst Big Daddy V sat on the floor at ringside, looking up and shaking his head in severe frustration with the "Jamaican Sensation". An advertisement aired, promoting WWE WrestleMania XXIV, live on pay-per-view on Sunday, March 30th 2008 from Orlando, Florida; 12 days away! CM Punk was soon shown making his way for the ring, and up next it seemed as though the former and current number one contender to the ECW Championship was going to have a few words to say, next! | COMMERCIAL BREAK |We returned from ECW on Sci-Fi as the theme of CM Punk sounded to a great reaction from the fans in Biloxi, the "Straight Edge Superstar" making his way down the rampway, Punk not waisting anytime in climbing into the ring and sitting and waiting in anticipation, a microphone in hand as his legs were crossed. Punk talked about how he was here to talk about the disgrace that was the ECW of today. He talked about how he understands that this brand cannot be the "Land of Extreme" that it once was, but he doesn't like the fact that people are so quick to judge what the original ECW represented. He talked about its innovation, how much of a genius mastermind Paul Heyman was, as well as the characters of some of the ECW originals. The Sandman was drinking his beer whilst Stone Cold Steve Austin was a gentleman in World Championship Wrestling; Sabu was one of the first people to do the most suicidal, homicidal, genocidal moves in mainstream professional wrestling whilst guys like Rey Mysterio were making their way up to ECW from Mexico! The company made guys like Raven, Tommy Dreamer, Jerry Lynn, countless others, all in the same time that Justin Hawk Bradshaw was losing to the Undertaker on a weekly basis on Monday Night RAW! And now because JBL is bitter, he can think that he can just come out and change the way things are, he disrupts the corrupt power Armando Estrada has over ECW, and quite frankly, it is CM Punk's mission to wipe the cancer away! The fans cheered as Punk talked about how ECW was great before Estrada came along, a solid roster no doubt. And so at WrestleMania, John Bradshaw Layfield won't be kicking a poor, veteran luchadore around until he can't be conscious, in fact it will be very even, because he has recently spoken to the Board of Directors, and they have opted for a special enforcer to appear in the match at WrestleMania, and he's going to be here tonight! The fans cheered as Punk began to leave, in preparation for the big six-man tag team main event. We cut to the announcers as Joey Styles and Tazz wondered who the special enforcer for the ECW Championship would be, Armando Estrada silenced by CM Punk's rather blunt words. The General Manager simply shook his head and kept his hat low over his eyes. Soon, we cut to the backstage area as Shelton Benjamin and Elijah Burke were shown hanging around before being approached by Lena Yada, Yada wanting to ask them a few questions prior to their match tonight. The "Gold Standard" spoke of how much he'd been looking forward to getting their hands on John Morrison and The Miz, and how tonight was most definitely the night to do it. The "Experience" Elijah Burke spoke of how cheap the WWE Tag Team Champions have been in recent weeks, and how their reign of terror will stop next week on ECW on Sci-Fi, because there will be new champions without a shadow of a doubt! Benjamin and Burke teased a strategy for tonight, Burke telling Benjamin to go after Morrison, whilst Benjamin told Burke to target the Miz. | COMMERCIAL BREAK |We returned to ECW on Sci-Fi as Colin Delaney was stood in the ring with Tommy Dreamer by his side as Delaney was ready and set for his first official match here in the WWE licensed to a contract with the ECW brand. We were then shown a replay from last Tuesday night on ECW, where Delaney had to face John Bradshaw Layfield in an Extreme Rules for a contract, and if he lost then his mentor Tommy Dreamer would be banished from the ECW brand. CM Punk cost Layfield the match, and therefore Delaney and Dreamer were safe. We cut back as Armando Estrada stood up from the announce position, the General Manager of ECW telling Delaney not to get too comfy on the active roster, because now he had to test himself as being a worthy member of the brand, telling him that last week was a fluke, and he was about to prove it. This brought us the theme of Mike Knox as the crowd booed loudly. 2) Mike Knox def. Colin Delaney (w/Tommy Dreamer) by disqualification @ 3:54This was quite the eventful match, as Colin Delaney now had to prove himself worthy here on the ECW brand, going one-on-one with the frightening Mike Knox, who proceeded to shove and push Delaney around just like he has done prior, when Delaney was just an enhancement talent with the company. Knox was in maximum overdrive mode as he nailed a spiralling suplex as well as a shoulderbreaker, soon to set up for the Knox Out, Knox setting it up, but Tommy Dreamer got on the apron, the "Innovator of Violence" distracting Knox! Knox went after Dreamer but Tommy got down, and Delaney dropkicked Knox over the top rope! Knox was annoyed as he went back after Delaney just to get a singapore cane to the spine from the ECW Original! Tommy Dreamer delivered a second shot with the singapore cane across the forehead of Mike Knox as Knox went down like a tree, Colin Delaney kneeling up in the ring, the "Innovator of Violence" glaring at Armando Estrada and warning him before heading back into the ring to attend to his rookie. We returned to the backstage area as John Morrison and The Miz were shown standing around, the WWE Tag Team Champions discussing their situation with Shelton Benjamin and Elijah Burke next week when they have to compete. The "Chick Magnet" told the "Shaman of Sexy" that he's worried about losing the titles in case it also costs him his sex appeal. This caused amusement as Morrison told Miz that he was such a girl, telling Miz not to be concerned, because he wanted to make Benjamin and Burke look like amateurs next week, which is why he has decided to pull some strings, and so he has requested and been accepted by Armando Estrada, a two out of three falls match for the WWE Tag Team Championships next week! The fans cheered, as Miz asked Morrison if he was crazy, Morrison walking away as Miz whined shortly behind him. | COMMERCIAL BREAK |3) Kane def. Nunzio @ 0:47This was a very quick match, as the "Big Red Monster" was here to explain why he is representing the SmackDown brand against the RAW brand at WrestleMania XXIV in the Brand Supremacy match against Umaga. The "Big Red Monster" Kane was in no good mood, as he took on the ECW Original, Nunzio, the former Full Blooded Italian trying to get in some low shots on Kane, just for Kane to pick Nunzio up as easy as a book, and take him out with a Chokeslam! Kane thought that wasn't enough though, delivering a second Chokeslam to Nunzio for the win! The crowd cheered Kane as they were impressed with how quick the match was, the "Big Red Monster" setting off his pyrotechnics as Kane seemed very ready and determined to beat Umaga at WrestleMania XXIV for SmackDown. The RAW Rebound aired, as it showed a video package from last night on Monday Night RAW, Chris Jericho hosting the Highlight Reel with John Cena as his guest, Cena showing footage of Y2J losing to Cena back in August 2005 not once, not twice, but three times to be forced to leave Monday Night RAW, and inevitably, the WWE. Cena meanwhile rose to stardom, which Jericho complained about, calling Cena undeserving and mocking him. It got right down to it as the two embraced their hatred for each other and their destinies for March 30th at WrestleMania, but soon Randy Orton cut them off, as did Triple H, a four-way preview for WrestleMania ensuing before our very eyes, a brawl eventually won by Cena's intelligence, taking out an already injured Triple H as RAW went off the air. We cut to Joey Styles, Armando Estrada and Tazz as they were hyping up WrestleMania XXIV, as in just under two weeks, we'd see so much action, such as the "Rated R Superstar" Edge battling the "Phenom" the Undertaker for the World Heavyweight Championship; Randy Orton will defend his WWE Championship in a four-corner elimination match against "Y2J" Chris Jericho, "The Game" Triple H and John Cena; the "Heartbreak Kid" will attempt to put an end to the career of the "Nature Boy" Ric Flair in the Career Threatening match; Eight men putting their bodies on the line for a shot at the WWE/World Heavyweight/ECW Championship, as Lance Cade, John Morrison, Mark Henry, Batista, Montel Vontavious Porter, Shelton Benjamin, Carlito and Jeff Hardy fight in the Money in the Bank ladder match; Plus, monsters collide as RAW's Umaga takes on the "Big Red Monster" from SmackDown, Kane in Brand Supremacy; Additionally, the ECW Championship is on the line in an Extreme Rules match as John Bradshaw Layfield defends the title against the "Straight Edge Superstar" CM Punk with a mystery special enforcer still yet to be announced; Beth Phoenix defends her WWE Womens Championship against the 2008 Playboy covergirl, Maria in a huge opportunity; Plus, the Big Show will do battle with the Welterweight Champion boxer, Floyd "Money" Mayweather with Bobby Lashley in his corner, all this and a lot more to be added, live on pay-per-view on March 30th! John Bradshaw Layfield was shown taping his wrists as the "Wrestling God" was making his way down a hallway, the ECW Champion en route to the ring, and our six man tag team main event is coming up next! | COMMERCIAL BREAK |4) CM Punk, Shelton Benjamin and Elijah Burke def. John Bradshaw Layfield, John Morrison and The Miz @ 11:28This was a solid main event for tonight's ECW on Sci-Fi edition, the "Straight Edge Superstar" setting up for his big WrestleMania XXIV encounter with John Bradshaw Layfield in an Extreme Rules match for the ECW Championship, whereas Shelton Benjamin and Elijah Burke were ready to go up against John Morrison and the Miz, seven days prior to their two out of three falls encounter for the WWE Tag Team Championships. CM Punk and John Morrison started off, memories of their wars from 2007 coming back, the "Tuesday Night Delight" using all of his arsenal on Punk just for Punk to match them, Punk then working the arm of Morrison and tagging in Shelton Benjamin. The "Gold Standard" worked over the arm of Morrison, but he soon let his guard down, allowing John Bradshaw Layfield to get the tag, the ECW Champion pounding away at Benjamin, and soon setting up for the powerbomb just for Benjamin to slip off of JBL's shoulders, Shelton with a dropkick down onto Miz on the apron! Benjamin made the comeback on the ECW Champion, getting the hot tag to the "Experience" as Elijah Burke met new legal man the Miz in the centre, both men trading blows, and soon Punk got in there to match up with Morrison, John Bradshaw Layfield soon getting involved, as did Shelton Benjamin, but eventually Punk went after his Mania opponent, sending Layfield out of the ring, over the barricade with a huge clothesline, and continuing the fight up into the backstage area! Meanwhile in the ring, Miz went for the Reality Check on Burke but Benjamin cut him off at the right time, the Paydirt giving Burke, Benjamin and Punk victory! The fans cheered as John Morrison slid into the ring one second too late, and Elijah Burke was helped up by Shelton Benjamin, the "Experience" and the "Gold Standard" celebrating their win, perhaps a foreseeable occurrence of what is to come next Tuesday night on ECW when Benjamin and Burke challenge one more time for the WWE Tag Team Championships in two out of three falls, with The Miz and John Morrison! We cut to the backstage area where John Bradshaw Layfield and CM Punk resumed their battle, the brawl reaching the parking lot as the ECW Champion was in the advantage with some clobbering lefts and rights, just to get kicked right in the head by the "Straight Edge Superstar"! Layfield fell down on his ass, as Armando Estrada tried to run onto the scene, having left commentary during the match as he called for security just to be taken out from behind by a lead pipe! Mick Foley was standing behind the ECW General Manager! Foley grinned at Punk as he asked how he was. Punk smirked as the two left the parking lot, ECW on Sci-Fi going off the air!

ECW: Nice opening match, even though having Funaki in there seemed a bit random. But it helps along the feud between Kofi Kingston and Big Daddy V, which is interesting. Loved the promo delivered by CM Punk. Seemed something like the present-day Punk would say. He's made it clear he's on a mission to rid ECW of both John Bradshaw Layfield and Armando Estrada. It's a nice set-up with Punk being the young underdog against the veteran bully in JBL and corrupt official in Estrada. Colin Delaney now has a contract, but it seems that it's only going to get more difficult for him from now on. Nice to see Tommy Dreamer come to the rescue against Mike Knox. Not really a fan of Kane being on ECW in a squash match against Nunzio, but I guess it helps him build momentmum for his match at WrestleMania against Umaga. Great main event featuring the cream of the crop in ECW. I especially loved the backstage brawl between Punk and JBL. Not to mention, seeing Mick Foley making his presence known again. Good show.

Really random start with Funaki, but I'm glad Kingston's side got the victory here. Good worked shoot promo from Punk, came off pretty well with the past. Wouldn't be surprised, however, if JBL stuck around for longer than the span of WrestleMania. Nice interview between Benjamin and Burke, but I don't see them becoming tag team champions anytime soon for some reason. Nice to see Dreamer make the save for Delaney. I actually really like the idea of a two out of three falls match for the tag titles, and I anticipate Miz and Morrison getting a cheap win on the third fall. With their acting, however, I wouldn't be surprised by a split up in the near future. Fine squash match for Kane against Nunzi. Looking forward to the the WrestleMania pay-per-view, some great matches set up. Lastly, nice main event with the face team pulling out the victory. Like the backstage brawl and Mick Foley being the enforcer is sick. Good show, Danny boy.

ECW - Kind of a strange way to open the show, Funaki is a random partner to throw in there. Big Daddy V & Striker pretty much have no momentum in this feud. Weak start the show. Great CM Punk promo, really well written. As I've said I love the Burke/Benjamin pairing and am enjoying the tag feud you've got going on. Knox/Delaney was OK I suppose, just kind of there though. Looking forward to the 2 out of 3 falls match. Kane/Nunzio seemed to be pure filler. Lastly great main event, loved the fact that Burke/Benjamin picked up the win and liked the Punk/JBL brawl with Foley laying out Estrada, Foley being the enforcer was expected but a good addition.
Overall the main event (and related segments) seemed to save the show for me as it seemed weak without it. ECW still has my 2 favourite feuds though and is usually my favourite show of the trio. Keep it up.

WWE SmackDown! - Friday 21st March 2008 - Biloxi, MS Dark Match: Natalya Neidhart def. Victoria @ 5:01 after the Sharpshooter.A replay from last Friday night on SmackDown aired as it went through the show-opening Cutting Edge segment involving Edge interviewing La Familia on their upcoming thoughts for WrestleMania XXIV, talking about the Undertaker and how Edge will beat him to end the streak, retain the World Heavyweight Championship and become the most famous WWE superstar in the company. He was interrupted by Batista, but Vickie Guerrero and Edge had a plan, involving Batista and the Undertaker competing in a steel cage rematch from their classic last May. But in similar events, in the process of a hellacious match, Edge interfered and took out both Batista and the Undertaker, once again leaving the "Deadman" unconscious.
The opening video package for SmackDown aired as we cut to the Coast Coliseum in Biloxi, Mississippi, pyrotechnics going off, and Michael Cole and Johnathan Coachman welcomed us to Friday Night SmackDown with nine days remaining until the grandest stage of them all, WrestleMania XXIV! They promoted a big main event for the night, as Montel Vontavious Porter will do battle with the "Phenom", the Undertaker!
The theme of Montel Vontavious Porter hit to a chorus of boos, as the announcers were not expecting the presence of the WWE United States Champion this early on in the evening. MVP arrived via his tunnel of smoke, as Porter confidently made his way down to the ring, a shirt draped over his usual in-ring attire. Porter got into the ring with a microphone in hand as Porter talked about how people may have forgotten the sound of his voice, but that wasn't going to last very long, because MVP has been focusing very hard, studying many ladder matches and training hard for Money in the Bank in nine days, where Montel Vontavious Porter will prove himself once and for all, as the future World Heavyweight Champion, and when he claims it, he will become the head honcho of Friday Night SmackDown, and nobody will be able to beat the "Franchise Playa". The crowd booed as MVP continued, talking about how he's going to make a bigger impact than Edge, than Jeff Hardy, than Rob Van Dam, than every big name that has ever stepped foot in the chaotic environment that is Money in the Bank. He talks about his task for the evening, having to take on the fearsome "Deadman" the Undertaker under orders of the "Rated R Superstar", the current World Heavyweight Champion, Edge. And he obeys that, he can listen to Edge's orders - temporarily! MVP promises that by WrestleMania XXV he will be the head honcho of SmackDown, and that it will be Edge taking orders from the "Franchise Playa" himself, because he's the best ever and nobody can ever take that away from him! Suddenly, a gong hit, and a similar video package from the last couple of weeks aired, showing MVP cheat his way to victory to retain his WWE United States Championship. It ended with the words "Mr Money in the Bank?" before cutting out. MVP wondered what all of this meant, but he was soon cut off from trying to speak by more static appearing on the screen, the lights cutting out and the Undertaker's voice being heard! The "Deadman" talked about how Edge has hired Montel Vontavious Porter to weaken the wounded "Phenom", but his efforts will not come to tuition, because what doesn't kill the Undertaker only makes him stronger, and there is no way in hell that Edge will settle the score and end the "Deadman"s impressive streak! MVP told 'Taker to stop playing the mind games, but 'Taker continued, freaking Porter more out. 'Taker talked about how Porter's dreams of being a future World Heavyweight Champion will remain futile, especially if he goes through with this match tonight. MVP will rest...in...peace! The fans cheered as the static turned off, the lights returned, and MVP looked quite intimidated by the "Deadman".

An advertisement aired, promoting WWE WrestleMania XXIV live on pay-per-view on Sunday, March 30th 2008 from Orlando, Florida; 9 days away!
1) Shelton Benjamin (w/Elijah Burke) def. John Morrison (w/The Miz) @ 8:29 This was quite the eyeopening opening contest, as this Tuesday night on ECW on Sci-Fi, Shelton Benjamin and Elijah Burke finally get their time to shine as John Morrison and The Miz will defend their WWE Tag Team Championships against Burke and Benjamin in a two out of three falls match; but also, Shelton and Morrison will both be in the Money in the Bank ladder match in nine days at WrestleMania XXIV. The Miz and Elijah Burke were there to even the score, as Morrison started going to work on Benjamin, but the "Gold Standard" started to fire back, a hurricanrana taking Morrison down, several shots raining down on the "Tuesday Night Delight", Benjamin then using his athleticism to get the better hand in this match, but it all went wrong when he made the mistake of springing from a leapfrog onto the top rope, just to get crotched by the Miz! Morrison followed up with a spring-up sunset flip from the second rope, and worked over Benjamin from there, using several variations of the neckbreaker as well as the springboard karate kick, not getting three. Benjamin started making a comeback though, as he nailed Morrison right in between the eyes with a super kick, covering but the Miz got on the apron, and that's when Burke got into the ring, a huge uppercut to the groggy Morrison, and Benjamin covered, the official running over to count the three!
The crowd cheered as Shelton Benjamin high-tailed it out of the ring with Elijah Burke, Burke and Benjamin headed up the rampway as The Miz jumped up and down in rage in the ring, John Morrison still out cold as the challengers headed into Tuesday night's WWE Tag Team Championship match had gotten the final upper hand on the champions!
We cut to the backstage area as the Big Show was seen taping his fists when Eve Torres appeared, asking the "World's Largest Athlete" for a few words prior to his match-up tonight. She asked Show of his intentions tonight, Show simply talking about how tonight is the match that Floyd Mayweather will want to watch over and over, and do his homework on, because Mayweather will have to pray his way through the Citrus Bowl on March 30th, he will want to cower with fear on Monday during the official weight-in, because there is not a chance in hell that the so-called Welterweight, undefeated Champion of the World will be able to surpass this giant, this monster, this "World's Largest Athlete"! Show left with a smirk on his face.

We returned to SmackDown as Edge was shown walking down a corridor, suddenly running into Montel Vontavious Porter, the "Rated R Superstar" asking MVP frantically if he was prepared for tonight, because he couldn't afford to have any hits and misses, not at this stage. MVP told Edge that he couldn't do it, that simple. He told him that he didn't think he was on his way to pull out of the match, because he just can't take it, the "Phenom" is too strong at this point, and these mind games he feels are giving him too much of an edge over him, so to speak, so much that he could have bad luck going into the Money in the Bank match. Edge sighed with disregard, as he told Porter not to go anywhere, because he had other plans for the WWE United States Champion - a match with the "Animal" Batista! MVP looked concerned still, as Edge continued to storm down the corridor.
2) The Great Khali (w/Ranjin Singh) def. Chuck Palumbo by disqualification @ 4:44 This match didn't hold too much promise to it, as the mean biker went into this match looking fearless, as the Great Khali came to the ring looking as happy and joyous as ever, his theme music not suiting his behavior one bit, as Khali simply mocked Palumbo with his size, the fans getting behind the "Punjabi Giant", Khali dancing at one point after throwing Chuck over the top rope with the greatest ease. Palumbo soon got back in there, a chop block to the knee followed by a series of lefts and rights through the padded gloves, taking Khali off of his feet, then attempting a cover just to be dramatically thrown off by the giant! Khali continued as he struck Palumbo with the Punjabi Chop, Palumbo somehow kicking out before three. Khali went after Palumbo more but the biker got out of the ring and reached for a steel chair at the announce position, climbing back into the ring and slamming the chair right into the back of Khali's leg!
The crowd booed as Palumbo continued the assault, jabbing the chair into the ribcage of the "Punjabi Giant", throwing the steel chair at the Great Khali before kneeling over him and pounding into him! Palumbo left Khali down and out as he looked like a rabid animal, the new side of Palumbo showing stronger and stronger.
We soon cut to the backstage area where Theodore Long was making his way for the ring, and the SmackDown Co-General Manager didn't seem all that pleased with the way things were being ran tonight on SmackDown!
| COMMERCIAL BREAK |
The theme of Theodore Long hit to a great applause from the Biloxi crowd, and out came the SmackDown Co-General Manager, Long climbing into the ring and taking a microphone as Long talked about how he has been on the SmackDown brand since 2004, and that he is not going anywhere anytime soon. He talked about the disciplinary acts Edge and Vickie Guerrero of La Familia have been handing out, particularly tonight as word has it, with the announcement of MVP taking on the Undertaker tonight being off, Edge has assigned somebody else to fill in for Montel Vontavious Porter to weaken down the "Deadman" even more, like last week was enough; and with that, Teddy would just like to add a match to smooth things out, which is why tonight, the "Big Red Monster" Kane, as a test of his almighty power going into the Brand Supremacy match, will do battle with the World Heavyweight Champion, Edge! The fans cheered as Long began to leave, quite pleased with himself.
We returned to the backstage area where Edge was shown stressing to Vickie Guerrero, Zack Ryder, Curt Hawkins and Chavo Guerrero of his La Familia cabinet, the "Rated R Superstar" talking about the act of Theodore Long, putting him in a match impromptu, let alone against the man that injured him and took away his dreams of being World Heavyweight Champion temporarily last July, Kane! Hawkins, Ryder and Guerrero stated that they would back him up, as Edge told Chavo to follow him to the ring, whilst Hawkins and Ryder hunted the Undertaker down and kicked his ass! Edge then began to leave as Chavo followed.
A video package aired, reviewing the career of Arn Anderson, nicknamed "Double A", Arn was an in-ring general, having all of the key features of an all-time wrestling great. He was well known for his innovation of the Anderson Spinebuster and the DDT, putting away many of his opponents with the moves. Anderson continued to impress, going on to win various titles, including the NWA and WCW World Tag Team Championships, the WCW and NWA World Television Championships, and alongside Tully Blanchard, the WWE Tag Team Championships. Anderson was also a huge part of the Four Horsemen, working the role as the "Enforcer". Anderson, a pioneer, now contributes to the machine that is the WWE, and for all of his accolades, the WWE welcomes Arn Anderson into the Hall of Fame's Class of 2008.
3) Edge def. Kane in a non-title match @ 6:30 Edge made his arrival in this match and looked quite concerned as he was not planning on facing the "Big Red Monster" here tonight. | COMMERCIAL BREAK | As we returned, Kane was having his way with the "Rated R Superstar", as the World Heavyweight Champion was visibly not enjoying this bout with the same man that ended his last title reign last July, a Chokeslam causing a tear in his pectoral muscle, forcing him to relinquish the title belt. Kane continued to dominate with his various chokeholds, keeping Edge under his control, and as the match progressed Chavo Guerrero came down to ringside, the "Latino Warrior" serving as the ideal distraction as Edge started fighting back, a big boot taking Kane right off of his feet, Edge going after the left foot of the "Big Red Monster", pounding it with forearms before continuing to assault the ankle with several knee drops and elbow drops. Edge continued but Kane soon made a comeback, taking Chavo off of the apron, but suddenly William Regal shot through the crowd, the RAW General Manager climbing onto the apron to distract the referee as Umaga came through the crowd in the opposite direction, coming at Kane with the Samoan Spike! Umaga and Regal ran away as Theodore Long power-walked down the aisle, Edge setting Kane up for the Spear, connecting with it for the three!
The crowd booed as Edge celebrated his win, Theodore Long looking quite unsatisfied as he called for security to chase the RAW invaders away, as Kane remained down in the ring. Chavo Guerrero handed his World Heavyweight Championship to Edge, the "Rated R Superstar" celebrating as if this would be the way he beats the Undertaker at WrestleMania XXIV!
We returned to the backstage area as Josh Mathews was standing by with the "Animal" Batista, as Mathews wanted to get some words with him prior to his upcoming match with MVP. Batista talked about how tonight is just the start of a new chapter for the "Animal", because he knows he was screwed last week against the Undertaker - he can beat the "Deadman", and Edge deprived him of that on two separate occasions in the space of a week. Meanwhile, Money in the Bank. The "Animal" may realize that he has never been in a Ladder match in his life, but he wanted to remind everyone how dominant he was, how unstoppable and menacing he was, and tonight, MVP is just the first page. He will decimate the WWE United States Champion, just like in nine days, he will take the other seven men apart if he has to, and once that's done with, he's claiming the World Heavyweight Championship after WrestleMania. Regardless of if the champ is Edge or the Undertaker! Batista seemed confident yet aggressive as we cut away.

4) Batista def. Montel Vontavious Porter in a non-title match by count-out @ 4:19 This match had a lot running on it, considering that it was originally meant to be Montel Vontavious Porter facing the Undertaker, just for MVP to cower out. Instead, we saw a Money in the Bank preview match, as these two are scheduled to compete in nine days in a Ladder match, and to MVP there was no positive medium tonight, as he went from the fearsome "Deadman" to the revealed-to-be aggressive "Animal", Batista. And aggressive he was, dominating MVP with thunderous lefts and rights, a rapid clothesline nearly decapitating the WWE United States Champion, and then attempting a Spinebuster just for MVP to escape, Porter getting in some momentum with a step-up kick to the face, Porter beating on the "Animal" when he was down, but it didn't last long as the former World Heavyweight Champion fired back again, MVP rushing right into a Spinebuster! Batista then set up the Batista Bomb, but MVP slipped off of Batista's shoulders and slid out of the ring, taking his title and leaving!
The crowd booed as MVP retired up the rampway, the WWE United States Champion out of harm's way, but Batista was so pumped up that he decided not to let Montel Vontavious Porter go anywhere, rushing up the rampway and planting the "Most Valuable Player" with a huge clothesline! Batista stood over MVP dominant, an example of what we could see on March 30th!
We cut to an interview cut from earlier today, as the United Kingdom were shown, Drew McIntyre doing all of the talking as he talked about how dominant the United Kingdom faction has been in recent weeks, taking down many SmackDown superstars, but alas, they have all tried to conform to their beatings, fighting back. But with Dave Taylor's ring generalship, the sex appeal of the luscious Layla, the brute power of the second generation DH Smith, and the charisma and handsomeness of Drew McIntyre.
We suddenly cut to the backstage area where Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins were shown walking around the corridors, talking about the unfortunate job they were given to hunt down the Undertaker. They suddenly were blind-sighted by the "Deadman" though, the Undertaker fighting off both men with lefts and rights as the "Phenom" took Ryder out with a Chokeslam into a nearby cart, then taking out Hawkins with a huge Tombstone Piledriver onto the concrete! The "Phenom" had cleared house of the Edgeheads, dragging Hawkins into the cart on top of Ryder, then carting them both away; the Undertaker vs Mark Henry was still yet to come!

5) The United Kingdom def. Deuce, Domino, Cherry and Jimmy Wang Yang @ 5:42 This was an eight-person tag team match as the result of previous attacks made by Drew McIntyre, Dave Taylor, Layla and DH Smith; as Deuce, Domino, Cherry and Jimmy Wang Yang were looking for retribution, Wang Yang starting off strong against DH Smith with a diving crossbody, continuing the attack as Domino got the tag, but that's where Smith got the tag out to Dave Taylor, who started to work away at Domino using his experience as an advantage, a brainbuster nearly giving the United Kingdom the victory. The United Kingdom continued their work until Drew McIntyre got the tag, the fresh man Deuce getting the tag, and all eight participants got involved, Layla and Cherry rolling all around the canvas, but that's where Deuce got distracted as he helped Cherry off of Layla, and McIntyre took the opportunity to strike him with the Scot Drop for the win!
The crowd booed as Drew McIntyre rolled out of the ring, holding Layla's hand as the United Kingdom united on the aisleway, the Brits picking up yet another win against their adversaries as of late; Deuce sitting up in outrage as Cherry cuddled up to him for comfort, Jimmy Wang Yang and Domino remaining down at ringside.
We cut to Michael Cole and Jonathan Coachman as they were hyping up WrestleMania XXIV, as in just under two weeks, we'd see so much action, such as the "Rated R Superstar" Edge battling the "Phenom" the Undertaker for the World Heavyweight Championship; Randy Orton will defend his WWE Championship in a four-corner elimination match against "Y2J" Chris Jericho, "The Game" Triple H and John Cena; the "Heartbreak Kid" will attempt to put an end to the career of the "Nature Boy" Ric Flair in the Career Threatening match; Eight men putting their bodies on the line for a shot at the WWE/World Heavyweight/ECW Championship, as Lance Cade, John Morrison, Mark Henry, Batista, Montel Vontavious Porter, Shelton Benjamin, Carlito and Jeff Hardy fight in the Money in the Bank ladder match; Plus, monsters collide as RAW's Umaga takes on the "Big Red Monster" from SmackDown, Kane in Brand Supremacy; Additionally, the ECW Championship is on the line in an Extreme Rules match as John Bradshaw Layfield defends the title against the "Straight Edge Superstar" CM Punk with a mystery special enforcer still yet to be announced; Beth Phoenix defends her WWE Womens Championship against the 2008 Playboy covergirl, Maria in a huge opportunity; Plus, the Big Show will do battle with the Welterweight Champion boxer, Floyd "Money" Mayweather with Bobby Lashley in his corner, all this and a lot more to be added, live on pay-per-view on March 30th!
We cut to the backstage area as the menacing Mark Henry was shown making his way down a corridor accompanied by Matt Striker, and the "World's Strongest Man" meets the "Phenom" one more time, next!
A short vignette aired, collecting Jesse and Festus' snapshots taken on their multi-week vacation in Orlando, Florida, anticipating the upcoming WrestleMania XXIV in nine days.

We returned to SmackDown as the theme of the "Rated R Superstar" Edge hit, and once again out came the World Heavyweight Champion accompanied by the SmackDown Co-General Manager, Vickie Guerrero. Vickie requested the attention of the audience with an atrocious "Excuse me!", then talking about the upcoming match with the Undertaker and Mark Henry; to ensure stacking the odds in the "Deadman"s favor (or "punishing" him for kidnapping Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins earlier tonight), the "Phenom" will now face Mark Henry...AND Matt Striker...AND Big Daddy V! Edge told everyone to enjoy the destruction of the Undertaker, an evil grin on his face.
6) The Undertaker def. Mark Henry, Matt Striker and Big Daddy V @ 8:27 The odds were stacked highly against the Undertaker as the "Phenom" went firing away at Big Daddy V, but the numbers game set in eventually as Mark Henry got the tag, and the "World's Strongest Man" went after the ribs of the "Phenom", the number one contender to the World Heavyweight Championship in hot water as Big Daddy V joined in on the beatdown of the ribs, a big splash from the "Mastodon" as well as a chokebomb nearly putting the "Deadman" away for three just for 'Taker to kick out one second remaining! Matt Striker soon got the tag as he wanted to mock and try and get the three on the legendary Undertaker, but the Golden Rule was reversed and the Undertaker forced Striker to eat a Chokeslam! 'Taker continued, the Old School taking out Big Daddy V, and then the "Phenom" nailed a huge Chokeslam on the "World's Strongest Man", 'Taker applying the Gogoplata submission on Striker, blood pouring from the mouth, Striker passing out!
The fans cheered as the Undertaker slowly reached his feet, clutching his ribs but the "Phenom" bowed amongst the carnage, the lights dimming and the "Deadman" pointed to the WrestleMania XXIV sign. But that's when Edge appeared, the World Heavyweight Championship in hand, the "Rated R Superstar" looking slightly concerned for his future as ruler of SmackDown as the champ, the two engaging in a staredown as SmackDown went off the air, WrestleMania nine days away!
