The Lakers are really good, the Blazers really suck.
I think something is up with Roy, I don't know what, but he hasn't been himself all season.
1. He's pacing himself 2. He's apathetic 3. He's out of shape (they have played a lot of games so far, most in NBA)(he's also high on the minutes chart) 4. He's playing hurt 5. He's lost a step
The Blazers need to figure this out immediately, they've pushed it to the side so far, but it's becoming increasingly evident that something isn't clicking. They run a lot of offense through him and right now he just isn't making plays. If something really is up, they need to start drawing up new plays, quick.

I noticed watching Roy so far that they aren't running nearly as much isolation for him and his first step and tendency to create off the dribble looks absent or curbed.
Maybe they are trying to work around dependacy on him to create a shot and leave it for when the play breaks down. They would turn to him a lot in the regular season last year and remember how he got hurt for the playoffs???
Aldridge is the one I am following closely this season. But you are right, Roy has looked different. I do think the offensive philosophy is a little different on Portland though.
It's curious because Roy said at the end of preseason that he wanted the ball a lot more. Maybe after camp and preseason he felt he had to say that.

Gasol's triple double on Sunday is just further evidence that the Lakers have the best team in the league.
Between the way Kobe is playing, Odom and Artest already looking ready for mid season form and how good Gasol is... it's hard to believe any team in the NBA is going to beat them in June.

Pacers are 16/16 in the 3rd quarter so far against Denver, they are up 101-72 16/16!?! Jesus. The Knicks are playing like garbage against the Bucks. Denver has been playing like garbage lately. Let's just combine those teams if you know what I'm getting at.

Excessive garbage?

they just cut the lead by a lot and are playing better.
It was really a flurry in the first by the Bucks and the Knicks playing like crap in the 1st. Since then they're playing better than the Bucks.
But yea, lack of chemistry and experience together kills the Knicks.

The Pacers went 20/21 in the third quarter btw. The only shot they missed was the very last shot before the end of the 3rd.

Heat and Jazz about to go into Overtime.
LeBron already has a triple double with 3 blocks and a steal to add on to that. Nutty.

Paul Millsap with 46 on the Heat? What the hell? BTW, Hornets 7-0 suck ittt Yea, really, a bench player dropping 46 but it gets worse... he's an undersized PF. But but but wait it gets EVEN worse... the Heat lost to this undersized PF dropping 46 on them. Deron Williams had 14 assists, with Al Jefferson having 2 points! Chris Paul and Deron Williams are the best point guards in the league, there is no close 3rd. They take scrubs or near scrubs and make them win games or beat talented teams. Both the Jazz and Hornets have beaten Miami due to point guard play. *cough*calledthisinjuly*cough*

This kills me because that's Chris Bosh out there that really held Miami back tonight.
He still has yet to have a double digit rebounding performance and tonight was his season high with 9. Who said you were ever that good?
Reggie Evans is averaging 12 rebounds for Toronto, right now, btw. It's easy to hoard rebounds when Bargnani is allergic to the post.
Wade and LeBron were great, but face it, Bosh was never as good as anybody said he was and Joel Anthony and Big Z have been important parts of this team so far.

Gah should I drop Kaman from my team? I'm getting really frustrated with him, and I have a feeling Griffin is taking over that team now. I have Bosh, Jefferson, and Bynum (when he gets back) for the rest of my big men...
I also proposed a Jameer Nelson and Caron Butler for Jrue Holiday trade. Stupid or no? I have a feeling I wont be able to trust Nelson with these injuries, and Butler hasnt been super special.
Also, great win by the Bulls yesterday. Nuggets may be down a few guys, but Melo is still there, and any time you can beat him its good. Especially when he has a good night.

What do you really need right now the most? Scoring? Sorta sounds like it. Kaman has been real good in years past so you might want to hold on to him for a little bit unless you really need help elsewhere (like scoring). Just sucks cuz Bynum is out so now you got like 2 spots you're concerned over at Center. Kaman also gets you some blocks, those won't just go away. I'd ride Kaman out for a bit, he's a legit team player and they don't seem to fall out of the rotation, ever. Jrue Holiday hasn't really done as much against the better teams they've played. He is getting a lot of steals but his assists are unpredictable. He'll definitely contribute a bit with assists but don't expect him to get you 10 a night by any means. Turner is going to get more time/looks for Philly as the season goes. You don't want to give up two proven starters like Nelson and Butler for Jrue Holiday's potential break out season. Holiday is a risk but has serious potential to be a great fantasy player cuz of his steals and the assist threat. But scoring is always unpredictable on Philly and even more so with Elton Brand back and Evan Turner being a rookie. I'd expect Butler to play better later in the year concerning scoring but he's been pretty good so far across the board. Might want to see if Dunleavy is a FA right now cuz it looks like he's starting to streak and last year he had a nice one for scoring. He's also going to get more rebounds with Murphy gone to NJ this season. What are your weaknesses and what are your strengths? Trade Bosh and Nelson in a package if anything. Don't sell off Kaman this soon unless you have a surplus in blocks and rebounds. If you're really sick of Caron Butler start looking for takers. But I'd stick with him for a bit. The FA's are always a good group to check game logs of. This might sound ridiculous but, trade for Danilo if you have room for him and really don't want Butler. His value is really low right now and last year he was one of the best fantasy players in the game. He'll get you 3's, rebounds, blocks, steals and the Knicks haven't really stabilized yet. So keep your eye on Danilo if somebody isn't using him. Might be able to get em. Jesus I just wrote a novel. Post your team if you want and I'll respond tomorrow at some point.

also, it's probably a long shot but check to see if Milsap is a FA in your league as well. I highly doubt it.
But that's a guy you might want to consider because he's gonna get the supplemental points to Jefferson.
Milsap's play over Jefferson this year makes you wonder how Al Jefferson was ever traded for KG in the first place?
