As far as the EG line goes, there were no signs of a new series at RSF. Is the Defining Moments series replacing Entrance Greats? If so, is Series 3 of EG that last series and will there be a 3rd person???
Please Bill, just a quick answer will do!!!

And what about this 2-3 different versions of the EG Undertaker rumor?

I am sure there will be more clarification on this, but in a thread earlier he said that the only two in entrance greats 3 was taker and rock. He did not flat out say it, but I felt he implied that DM would be replacing EG.

don't you think everyone here has a bunch of questions for mattel? the board would be totally clogged up if we all posted topics of "MAttEL PlZ AnSeR mY QuEsTIAn!!!1!"
posting it like this comes off as immature, selfish and disrespectful. if you're asking Bill - then how about PM him. we all have questions that we "need" answers to and that a "quick answer" would do.

I remember this thread very clearly where he answers this. The thread was about what attire people think the John Cena entrance great figure will have.
Bill said that the last 2 scheduled entrance great figures for 2010 are The Rock and Undertaker, and then went on to say "for 2011 our new premium highly detailed line for 2011 will be the Defining Moments line", which I believe is his way of saying, they will be replacing EG. That doesn't mean that there will never be more EG, but not for 2011 as of yet.

I blame the 'Eugene's' in attendance at RSFest that asked the dumbest, most repetitive, already answered questions ever. Owen?, Benoit?, Nexus?, referees & ring announcers?, we already know the answers to these questions. Shame on you all.

dang, i thought you were talking to me. from what i gathered, Entrance Greats will be no more. not sure exactly on which will be the last of the series, but what's the biggie? i mean, Entrance Greats (although pretty cool) didn't sell very well. i didn't buy any, but i would have been bummed if i did and they weren't elite for that pricepoint. sure, they'll be a couple bucks more, but they'll be worth it. plus, i hated the packaging on them. call me crazy, but i prefer carding.

No, I was not aware of the Q&A sites that hold the sessions with Mattel. And excuse me, I don't find this disrespectful at all. I asked a simple question regarding the EG and DM lines from Mattel, two very big selling lines that I was concerned about the future releases of. NO ONE asked it at RSF and I felt I should ask it. Disrespect is comparing me to all of the other noobs on here who clog up the boards with ridiculous posts. I on the other hand am a very loyal Mattel follower who was concerned with the future of the Entrance Greats Line, a line that I am very found of and find to be one of my favorite lines to collect. I so happen to respect Mattel a lot, a hell of a lot more than I respect Jakks. Mattel has not disappointed me, not once. I collect Basics, Elites, Entrance Greats, and Legends and I personally have been one-hundred and ten percent satisfied with every figure I have picked up or ordered online. Mattel is doing a fantastic job, so fantastic that I recently sold every single Jakks WWE figure I had on eBay this past week and put the money towards a savings for future Mattel figures. I hold a great respect for WWE and Mattel and I appreciate the products that they have been creating these past 10 months. I plan on sticking with Mattel for awhile. So don't think that I would EVER disrespect a company like Mattel. I saw Bill was answering a lot of questions regarding RSF and I figured "Hmmmm, since none of the attendees at RSF asked anything what-so-ever about the EG or DM line, I will ask the one connection we have with Mattel". I'm not immature, far from it, I'm an avid collector who was just looking for a simple answer on a figure line that I am very strongly involved in.

Shame on you all. yeh i hate that. people always ask stupid questions that are obvious or that we already know the answers to. its such a waste. like asking whos in certain lineups that have already been released (just look it up!), or asking if they're going to make a figure of someone who's only just arrived in WWE (of course they will, give them chance!) or asking stupid questions like are they gonna sign owen (if they could, they would!). annoys the hell out of me.

why didn't attendees ask:
1. Who is in the 3rd Legends 2-pack from Series 2? 2. When is Legends 2-pack Series 2 scheduled to be released? 3. Are there 2 more unannounced Legends in Series 5 or is Martel, BBB, Macho & Akeem it?

From my experience, people who usually hold a high spot here on the forums don't check their Messages to frequently. I still have messages that are unopened from other board members. Because DM is such a huge deal, I figured because he is a Mattel rep. he looks at the board frequently, which he does, and he would answer questions, which he does. This question I feel is important, far more important than some of the other useless topics I've seen on here. No disrespect to anyone, just wanted an answer to a question. Got a problem, then don't comment. I don't go around on your post and say whether it was important or not enough to send a pm to the person. For me, yes this topic is very important to me and I would like top know the future of a line that I collect. Sorry for wondering.

Sorry for wondering. yeh he probably doesnt answer that many of his PMs. its not because he just doesnt bother checking his PMs, its because he doesn't have time to answer thousands of member questions. posting it here instead of PMing him doesn't change that. he answers questions here on discussion topics when he feels the need to, and we all appriciate that. but thats not something we ask for or expect. WFT is a place for discussion topics for all of us to talk about, not a place for members to ask their own questions directly to mattel. yes, YOU think your question is more important than anyone elses. I'm sure many of us have questions that we consider of high importance. its all a matter of opinion. your perceived "importance" of your question or the fact that you want an answer urgently is not an excuse to disrespect other board members and use WFT as your own personal space to ask bill questions. I have a bunch of questions for mattel which I consider really important and am dying to know the answer to. Should I post my own topic saying "MATTEL PLEASE ANSWER MY IMPORTANT QUESTIONS!"? hell, why don't we all do that...

I wasn't disrespecting anyone, dude. I wanted an answer. I just don't appreciate a personal attack on my Topic. I'm not going back and forth anymore with you, there are more important things in my life that I should worry about instead going on about a topic concerning action figures. I'm ending it. No disrespect to you, Mattel, or any other board member was intended. My sincerest apologies.

btw, here is his post. There is no John Cena Entrance Great planned. The Entrance Greats line for 2010 is: Rey Mysterio Triple H Shawn Michaels Chris Jericho Roddy Piper Million Dollar Man Undertaker Rock In 2011 the highest end Mattel collectible line will be Defining Moments - Elite bodied figures with accessories and deco above and beyond anything that has ever been seen before on wrestling action figures. Series 1 has already been announced as Randy Savage - Wrestlemania 6 Shawn Michaels - Wrestlemania 25 As the designer I really wish there was some sort of open public forum at the end of the month where I could announce who is in Series 2 (yes, its a hint...)
