The update is that he has a completely torn rotator cuff and will be having surgery sometime in the next few days.
WWE is hoping he'll be able to work Wrestlemania but even if he is able to work he won't be recovered enough, so it's doubtful.
This is really disappointing. Undertaker is just hurt ALL the time. His body is breaking down on him and is probably going to force him to have to retire soon. What a shame. Because WM 25 and 26 show what he is still capable IF he's healthy.

He will be there. We get this every year about a top guy I swear. They're always there.

He needs to retire. I don't want to hear stories of a crippled old man The Undertaker becomes after wrestling...

I'd be okay with Undertaker retiring.. He has nothing else to accomplish.

How anticlimactic that would be. We all know he'll face Lesnar though

I love Undertaker but I agree, he should retire soon. Streak still intact though imo. He has always been my favorite, ever since I first started watching wrestling in 96. He will be at WM though, I hope.

I'd be okay with Undertaker retiring.. He has nothing else to accomplish. Well, he sort of does. I think everyone wants to see it get to 20-0. But I'm not one of those fans that wants to see him live a poor life after wrestling because he injured himself so severely at the end. I don't want him to end up in a wheelchair. I don't want him to have to walk with a cane. I don't want him to be always in pain. The fact that he's out for 6-7 months at a time now and then comes back and a week later is already hurt again with his knees, his hips and now his shoulder....I hate to say it, but I think he should just call it quits. Maybe they can work something out where he faces Kane at Wrestlemania and wins the title to go 19-0 and then Miz comes out to cash in MITB and Undertaker can win that quickly thus going 20-0 and then they can do some kind of storyline where he disappears forever and WWE vacates the title because Undertaker has vanished forever.

I really doubt he would miss Wrestlemania.

Regardless of how injured he is he'll still be at Mania and he'll still preform we wont get taker at his best but we'll still see him. Until he retires that is.

I have often suggested that the Undertaker beat 2 guys in one Wrestlemania to get to 20-0. I dont think the Undertaker is the kind of guy who would blow his life's savings, but the guy is in worse shape than Kevin Nash.

That's a shame. Although I want to see him keep going, he just needs to retire. At his age, every injury is going to take a serious toll and I don't want to have to hear about him going through all these problems here on out. It sads me to say, but Undertaker needs to retire before he injures himself beyond repair.

I don't know man....seeing how long guys are out with torn rotator cuff surgery in baseball, I don't think he'll be ready to even come back and half ass it. He's having surgery this week....so he'll only have around 140 days to recover from surgery on a torn rotator cuff......I don't think it's possible.

Yeah it was doubtful Cena would wrestle at Mania 24. It was doubtful Edge would make it back in time for 26. Undertaker will wrestle. And regardless he'll still have the match of the night depending on who he faces.

Or maybe even after the Mania have him celebrate have the lights turn off and on and hes no longer in the ring and the Title sitting in the middle of the ring floor. Kind of putting the statement like it was never about the title.

I think there's about a 0% chance he'll miss WrestleMania.

ive had both my rotator cuffs operated on and its completely possible, even likely for him to be at wrestlemania. i had my 2nd back in may, and ive been 100% for almost a month now, but then again im also 30+ years younger than him lol

I really doubt he would miss Wrestlemania. Wrestlemania's 10 and 16 would beg to differ. Seriously, if they can, just give him a lame win at 'Mania in an easy match, and then let him take off until January so he can top out at 20-0. And then retire.
