Has anyone heard any update on when they will hit stores? Series 1 has been out from months now. Do you think they will go to 2 sets per series now (much like they just down sized the legends line)? Wheres the guy from the design team to shed some light?

I doubt Series 2 will be only 2 sets- however, it might be like EGs and the 3rd will be released later... just a hunch, no news. But I bet in the future they really ease up on the 2 packs just b/c they obviously arent selling (at least around me) too well considering the pegs are fully stacked and there are several boxes of them on the top.
I hope that the 3rd piece in S2 is the Hart Foundation as most have guessed it'll be.

I'm sure most of the Series 1 2-packs will be gone by the end of the holiday season. When was it confirmed they downsized the Legends? Last I read they were thinking about it in the future, but nothing was final. And I think they only showed us 4 figures at RF because they said it would be a sneak peek. So personally I think they held back 2 Series 5 figures to unveil at a later date.

Also, I assume Mattel is going to release two sets per two-pack series going forward. I do not think the Piper/Orton and Shiek/Volkoff sets are selling well. You can find these sets at every TRU in vast quantities. It was also stated by Mattel in an Internet Q&A (I cannot find the thread) that new two-packs will be released once TRU's stock of Series 1 significantly diminishes. Legends will be 4 figures per wave starting with Wave 5. Wave 5 will indeed be Macho Man Randy Savage The Model Rick Martel Akeem Bam Bam Bigelow Please copy and paste this every time this question arises in future posts. Thanks Bill

Why won't he post here and clear some of this tag team stuff up?

The Legends 2 Packs aren't selling here either. There is still 2 pegs worth from the original stocking and a brand new sealed box up top.

I am sure Bill will clarify the question in due time. Be patient.

Thats true. When Jakks introduced their Classic 2 packs the first line included Legion of Doom, Hart Foundation, and the Rockers. All three of those teams are guaranteed sellers. Speaking of the Rockers, I can't wait till they release them.

I love the 2 packs. Wish they were $25 but you're getting 2 elite style figures. My TRU has a ton of them on the pegs and 2 cases up top It would really be a shame if Mattel did away with them because no one wanted to spend $30 on the Bushwakers. Never mind the fact that the Piper and Shiek are re-releases.

I hope they get them out soon, either around the holidays or after the new year, cause I want my Von Erichs..... I have been working on a few customs such as Chris Adams and all, and I really can't wait till they come out, just hope one has a claw hand, lol.... I may also get the Rockers, but I hope we find out soon who the 3rd set is? Time will tell! QUAGMIRE

Man some people take these boards serious like they are there life or something. Raven37257 I am sorry, for you. It is funny how you perceive my response to be negative. However, if you want to be negative, I can play that game. The board reads the likes of your whining about information too much. I am only pointing out the obvious. You asked an irrational question and you received a rational response. I am sorry for you because you obviously cannot provide any substantive comments/information/direction to the community. I am not an avid poster but I can be when I see ignorant questions/comments posted. Worry less about me and more about yourself. Have a nice day!

I hope series 2 isn't stuck at just two packs this time out. I'd hope people will buy The Rockers and Von Erichs in high enough quantity to warrant the tag team line continuing.
