MMA fighter Roy Nelson says he wants to fight Brock Lesnar in UFC, WWE, or anywhere that will promote a fight between the two heavyweight fighters.
"I think it's great that Brock wants to fight me," Nelson said in an interview with BloodyElbow.com. "It would be a great matchup and I believe the fans want to see it so let's make it happen. I don't care if it is in the UFC or the WWE...let's just get down to it."
After Brock Lesnar dropped the UFC Hvt. Title to Cain Velasquez at the UFC 121 PPV last month, questions have come up on whether Lesnar should face Frank Mir in a rubber match or fight Nelson, who would be best described as a bar-room brawler in pro wrestling.
Nelson also joked that he would take on WWE's top WrestleMania attraction, The Undertaker, if Brock Lesnar doesn't want to fight Undertaker after their post-fight "exchange of words" at UFC 121.
"If Brock still doesn't want to fight there I guess I'll take on the Undertaker because I'm sure he'd be happy to fight me," Nelson said. "We can do Hell in the Cell or we can even do a complete throwback and sign a Lion's Den match like Ken Shamrock. I can get paid to act."

Idk, I just don't think Nelson could handle Lesnar. While it's a fight I'd like to see, I'd much rather see Lesnar-Mir III. Nelson's a funny guy though

Maybe its just me but I don't really want to see this fight. If Lesnar loses his little bit of credibility will go out the window.

If Lesnar loses his little bit of credibility will go out the window. And? If he can't hang, then he can't hang.

Nelson is more well-rounded than Herring. I actually think Roy would win, so Brock shouldn't take it. He should just fight Mir so he will look strong.

I think Roy would win too, his boxing skills are as solid as ever, and his cardio seems to be improving. As for Lesnar, I like his beard.

I think it's a very interesting fight and would love to see it... Nelson's a good wrestler and is very durable. I think Brock would have too much for him, but it's certainly not a given. I would enjoy the hype/build/trash-talk for a Lesnar Vs Mir III fight - but really can't see any other outcome than Mir getting his face smashed in again... "Brock SMASH puny Mir!!"

I would kind of like to see Mir go down to 205...not that I think he would fair any better at that weight but at least there are some interesting matchups there..Even though I'm not a Mir fan AT ALL I don't like seeing the guy in high profile matchups and end up getting his ass kicked....BAD. HW is too stacked right now. And it is stacked with guys who are monsters...absolute f***ing beasts. Cain, Carwin, Brock, Nelson, JDS, etc...he just can't deal with these guys....but I don't know if Mir would be able to cut that much weight. Not sure what he walks around at.
I would love to see Nelson/Lesnar. Brock would earn a lot of respect from hardcore MMA fans if he were to win. Nelson on the other hand would be catapulted into title contention if he were to beat Brock. So whoever won would be okay with me...I can't believe I am saying it but I am slowly becoming a Nelson fan. The guys personality kind of rubbed me the wrong way on TUF but he has definitely grown on me. He is a great fighter and his fight with JDS (even though he lost) was a great show of how good of a chin he has and also he didn't gas out as bad as I expected him to against a guy like JDS.
Really hope this fight happens...

only thing interesting about that is that roy nelson was aware that wwe had a few lion's den matches.

i'm ok with both fights actually, i loved the "feud" between him and mir,and since they're tied 1-1 an final battle would be cool i guess, it's kinda like one of those movie scenarios where both fighters get a win,a story is worked up around it and then the climatic final battle to end all battles on the other hand i'm all for watching brock go up against new opponents so roy would be intresting. anyho i just hope he gets back to winning, the title loss must be tearing him up mentally,i'm sure he comes out stronger and better next time

Lesnar/Mir III would see Lesnar whoop Mir again. Lesnar/Nelson will at least be more exciting to see.

I can see it now:
"Dave Meltzer reports that Roy Nelson vs. Undertaker is penciled in for WrestleMania 27, but as always plans can change at anytime."

-- "After Brock Lesnar dropped the UFC Hvt. Title to Cain Velasquez at the UFC 121 PPV last month.."
Since when did UFC start becoming a worked company ?!?!
Anyways, Brock would handle that hillbilly like he did "The TX Crazyhorse" -- bullrush him to the ground and control every manouver Roy tried to make!

You guys ever watch anyone more than Lesnar fight? Seriously Roy is so underrated, he has some sick BJJ and is very durable I have him winning with a R2 or R3 Submission.

"He never asked for Roy Nelson, that's not true. The last thing I did hear was that he wants to fight Frank Mir again. That fight kind of makes sense so ... we will probably see Lesnar fight Mir next, I think that the rubber match makes sense."
