I finally got around to watching this last night and it is the best movie I've seen so far this year. I love how much stuff it incorporates from the comics and the only problem I have with it is that I wish it had a few more things from the comic put in it. But I still cannot wait to watch this movie again with all of the commentaries.

To quote Guillermo del Toro
"I'm here because I love this movie," said del Toro, clearly stating his strongly-worded thoughts on the film, "...[This] is a really important screening, because I think we all can go out to the world after this screening and tell every motherf---er out there to watch the movie. Why? Because anyone that didn't watch it is a motherf---er. We can tell them when they ask, 'Why does Hollywood make such sh---y movies?' Because when they do great ones, you don't f---ing show up!"
I loved this movie! I actually saw it opening weekend and am really hoping to get the Blu-Ray soon. At this point I'll probably wait until after Christmas though, just to make sure I don't get it from anyone else.
One of my favorite movies of the year.

I kind of want to see this movie, but the fact that it stars Michael "I always have to act like an awkward teenager in love" Cera really puts me off. I can't ing stand him.

It basically is a classic game, with the sound effects and graphics etc.

It has a bunch of references to old games, with sounds from Zelda, Scott totally just gets a 1UP at one point, when he defeats an evil ex they explode into coins, it's just a lot of stuff like that.

When I originally saw the trailer, I had absolutely no desire to see it. As I began to hear more about it and learn more about the story, I became pretty interested and was able to catch it at a discount theater that gets movies about a month after they're released.
Needless to say, I loved it. It's ridiculous, heartwarming and pleasantly geeky all at the same time. Great stuff.

I liked it a lot, very well made movie, awesome action. I personally hate the stupid music, but it didn't bother me at all. However, the fact that it wasn't really a comedy threw me, guess I was expecting a more Shaun/Hot Fuzz-ish style of humor. Still liked it a lot.

Amazing movie.. Everything about it is incredible.. Anyone that thinks otherwise is borderline brain dead.. The del Toro quote really made sense.

Of all the times he's done it, Scott Pilgrim is probably tied for best with George Michael Bluth. All the others can eat a schwanz.
