Saw it 3 times at the cinema. Absolutely loved it, and will be purchasing the Blu-Ray upon its December 27th release. My 4th favourite film of the year (behind Inception, The Social Network and Kick-Ass).

It's become absolutely my favorite movie of all time (behind Ghostbusters, because nothing tops Ghostbusters).
There is ABSOLUTELY SO MUCH I love about this movie that I don't want to talk about without spoiling anything. Any movie that starts out with the noise it started out with immediately has my attention, and it kept it all the way through.
What I can say is that most importantly, it felt ORIGINAL, and fresh, and creative. It was a brand new experience I had never seen before in a movie theater, in any way, shape or form. That is what hands down kept me watching. On top of that, it's filled with super cool effects, solid action sequences, hilarious comedic moments, and at it's core, a very heartwarming story.
Not to mention it had the best performance from a Culkin since Home Alone 2, Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Aubrey Plaza are smoking gorgeous, and Superman, the Punisher, and Captain America are all in the movie.

I loved everything about this movie! I wish I actually read the comics though because I was a little confused how Scott was so powerfull.

I've told everyone I know that if they don't like this movie we're friends off. The film is incredible, the cast is fantastic, and you need to watch it a number of times in order to pick up on all of the comic/computer/video game references. I can't say enough good things.

If you havent read the comics I could see this movie being awful, now as someone who read all the comics this is one of the best films I've ever seen. I like that it parodies video games without being so direct about it like stupid ing movies like " ____ Movie" People these days are too stupid to get jokes unless its written out in front of them word for word it seems.

I loved everything about this movie! I wish I actually read the comics though because I was a little confused how Scott was so powerfull. It was intentionally not explained to fit the stylized video game/comic book world he was in. It doesn't really matter, in the end. Crazy action movies often don't explain why things happen, and musicals don't explain why people break into song. Wright often describes this movie as a musical, but instead of songs breaking out, fights do.

I'm glad you guys pointed that Tom Jane cameo to me. All the more reason to grab this as my first Blu-Ray.

Really enjoyed it. Loved the classic game references and the fight scenes. This movie kicked ass.
