could somebody explain this "afa" thing to me, I don't understand at all. All I know is it's something to do with the condition of stuff...

Personally I think it's stupid, but a few people I know like it. I want to hold my figures, not look at them through a plastic slab. I'm not bashing you for doing it, just stating an opinion.

Its pretty much the same thing done with comic books. You send them your figure they say what condition it is in (if its like comics...its a 10.0 scale), then they seal it up so that the item can not lose its value and pretty much keep it safe...all for a fee of course

Good job on the Race! An 85 for LJN carding is EXCELLENT.

Can they be taken out of the plastic thing? I know where you can get that Harley Race autographed, and I don't think he charges for them either.

I've thought of doing that with my Mego red body spiderman on the card...it's almost dead mint. I'm just nervous about sending peices of my collection out..

Very nice. Personally I think the whole idea of professional grading is a scam, but if you're happy with the results that's all that matters. I'd be afraid to send my figures out, especially MOC LJNs!
