"While McMahon was vague about her future, it is clear she is optimistic about her chances (In 2012 against Joe Lieberman). She did better than any Republican in a Connecticut senate race since Lowell Weicker, and got more votes than Lamont got in 2006, more than Lieberman, too. McMahon also told me her campaign "energized" the Republican party, and points to her party's gains in the General Assembly. Hartford Courant columnist Kevin Rennie said McMahon has built up plenty of goodwill in the party, and that could aid her in '12." www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/11/20/linda-mcmahon-lieberman-2012_n_786054.html

Flush another $50 million down the drain and make sure WWE's safe enough for your campaign, Linda, worked so well the first time.

Flush another $50 million down the drain and make sure WWE's safe enough for your campaign, Linda, worked so well the first time. The only way Linda can win is if there is a weak Democratic candidate. Lieberman is going to lose his seat. He's too far right for the left and he's too far left for the right. A strong Democrat will take back the seat. However, if Democrats nominate someone who is just awful, Linda does stand a great chance of winning.

The amount of people drawn to the other side merely because of her WWE past this year tells me that right there, she's already lost many potential 2012 votes. What is she going to do to change her image between now and then? I know WWE wasn't the sole reason for her losing, and she actually did well for herself considering all of that, but I just don't know about actually winning. Seems like something much easier said than done, especially when talking about the Wife of Vince McMahon. Who else would challenge her in the Republican Party, by the way?

If there is a strong Republican running for President, many will just check the straight Republican ticket and Linda will get votes that way. It really is a mess, but she shouldn't be counted out.

Great..
I was hoping she got the message but apparently she really wants to win.
I predict her to be a double loser but maybe she'll get lucky..

If there is a strong Republican running for President, Bahahahahaha. That is why I said "if" not "There is going to be." DC, the only ones that would challenge her would be the people who challenged her last time, so she could easily get the nomination again. However, if they some how convince Jodi Rell to run, she'd crush Linda and any other candidate and she would be the next Senator from Connecticut.
