I was wondering if you guys could give me some advice. I have been collecting figures for over 20 years now. I literally have thousands of figures both mint loose and MOC. After Mattel took over I finally called it quits. So for the year I have hardly bought anything new.
My days of collecting are done now and I really don't know what I am going to do with all these figures. I have a son being born in February and I thought about giving them to him when he gets older but who knows if he will even like wrestling and he may not even want all these old figures.
What would your suggestion be as far as the best way to sell these figures? Sell in Lots? One HUGE lot? Or individually? Whatever I decide to do it's going to be a ton of work but I also want to make the most that I can. I have so much stuff I dont even have room for it at my place. It's all stored at my dads place on the 3rd floor.
Whats your advice?
Thanks

If making money is your goal then go for selling it individuallly. I recommend taking pics or make a list and putting on the classifieds. Then you always have ebay where you can do small lots. Making a big huge lot will not bring you that amount of money you are probably looking for.
Hope it helps.

I would do small lots since some figures are not as popular as others

Small lots on ebay or classifieds. Its gonna take time. You could always bring to a 3rd party seller and they could sell it for u and handle the mess but they will prob take a big cut out of profit. Its hard to imagine 1 person having that much money to drop on figures.

Sell them in small lots.
The popular ones together with the not popular ones cos the not popular ones like Orlando Jordan, JBL, Mark Jinrak, etc will be hard to get rid off.

Single:Usually full value but slower selling, many can remain unsold Theme related lots(DX,nWo,PPV Mainevents, feuds):Popular and fast cash, sometimes full value Random small lots:Fast cash but not for your full value Huge lot:Only die hard collectors will consider bidding/buying. Easier way to sell them all. Not full value
Hoped I kinda helped
