This is a reason why I no longer watch wrestling is because their giving a prestigous title an undeserving kid The reason I no longer discuss wrestling on a message board is because their fans have no understanding of spelling and sentence structure.

One thing I really liked, was the emotion he showed when he held the belt. That's how you know being champion truly means something to him.

To be completely honest, I couldn't care less that The Miz is the champion. I'm just extremely happy that there is somebody different as the champion. It was a cool moment though, he seemed moved... Happy for him

Congrats Miz. The guy has come along way since joining the WWE. Who would have thought he would have come this far. Hope to see a nice feud between Miz and Morrison one day in the future. Would be great.

I pretty much figured out what was going to happen when after Cena's speech USA ran a local ad here in D.C. about their WWE event on the 30th of December at the Verizon Center.
The main event?
Orton vs Cena vs. Barrett vs. Miz in steel cage for WWE title.
I then shut the television off. It's crap like that that ends up making me flip over to Monday Night Football lately.

It's about damn time. I called him cashing in last night so I was only one day off. Oh well, rather be wrong on the day then wrong on him winning the gold. Glorious day in wrestling!

It was awesome I seen it coming right from the start when the Nexus attacked Orton and Cena costed Barrett the title. Then Orton won and an RKO turned into the Skull Crushing Finale to finish a injured Orton. I just wish Orton kept the title also at WrestleMania this year for Money In The Bank a good guy needs to win it and cash it in like RVD did in 06'

If you would have told me that in 2010, I'd be singing the praises of The Miz winning the big one, I would have killed you dead on the spot, and hid your body under some brush.
He went from being a disposable flash in the pan quasi-celebrity, with mediocre wrestling ability and personality, to being part of one of the best tag teams in the modern era, to seemingly having little hope on his own, to then finally showing his true potential. Creative gave this guy his shot, and they let him be himself out there amped up. And wouldn't you know it, he stepped up his abilities became a star. Truly deserved.

Wow! It's about goddamn time!!!!
My brother and I were LOSING OUR MINDS when he got the pin. For a minute, I thought he was gonna lose it. I'm so excited to watch Raw next week. Miz deserves the belt more than anybody else on Raw right now. GOOD FOR HIM!
