Whee! A TTL Custom! Awesome.
Without a reference image, I can't really say too much; I don't recall Jeff in this particular look. Maybe the facepaint could use a bit of cleaning up around the edges? It looks pretty solid, though.

first thought "ewwwww" hair is not detailed at all,paint is very chunky and sloppy. i get what you were trying to do with the shirt i think but its way tooo sloppy. head scan is too round.tattoo is pretty sloppy and i dont recall it being blue.jeff has paint in his eyes,which would hurt. its nice to try new things but this looks ho-ho-rendous. thin out your paint(water it down). you can be original and it still be somthing jeff would actually wear. so take those comments and apply them to yuor next custom,itll help trust me  |

the shirt is AWESOME!!!
But the paint job on the figure kind of kills it. The paint is sloppy and it is hard to tell what it is.

It looks a bit rough around the edges.The shirt looks awesome, but the torso choice is horrible.(nothing personel I've just always had a problem with that particular ttl torso). I really like the shirt design. If you used a shirted torso it and painted it the exact same way it would enhance this figure 10 fold. I still give you major props on being able to make that hardy shirt look that awesome with that abortion of a torso jakks put out.

the paint's a bit choppy and rough in places but when i do customs so are mine lol. i like it though man, defiantly wish he'd do this look cause it's pretty sweet!

I wanna say thank you to everyone that had given me advice on this project. It was my first attempt at a real wrestler custom. First shot wasn't so good and after taking in the advice I decided to give it another shot. Didn't realize the paints I was using required thinning. I think the way his face is on the actual shirt was a pretty cool design and since I'd done the shirt, I figured I'd use the same look for his make-up.  Here are some shots taken before he was completed.   And here's Hardy after I put him all together again.   I also found that Dreft baby laundry soap works well for cleaning off paint. thsi looks a lot nicer much cleaner.face paint is way better.
when i said it would have been bashed to hell years ago,it really would any new guys always got crapped on since this wasnt "factory" quality thats the reason. look back like 100 or so pages then youll see.
nice improvement of the head tho,good job
