Great battle for the Takedown! This is what I wanted, Johnson on his back!

Jesus, Brookins looks awful on the feet. I have NO idea how someone gets this far in MMA, and doesn't have at least one trainer drilling them on how to keep their hands up and chin down. It's not just a knock on Brookins either, since you see it a lot with other guys as well. The same way Michael Johnson "got this far" with absolutely NO ground game at all.

Brookins wins and will move to 145 (where he belongs). Glad he'll be the winner this season.

You'd think that Johnson would've worked on his Carwin conditioning.

I'm not defending one weakness over the other. That's another point that deserves some criticism as well.

With proper conditioning, Johnson could've easily bagged this fight. It's clear that he was spent after having to defend just a couple of takedowns.

I just watched Garcia/Nam. Such utter BULL . Garcia ALWAYS gets the gift decision. ALWAYS. And for what? He is one of the WORST fighters standing up I have EVER seen, ran out of gas, and did nothing with his takedowns. This is just being honest here, I can beat Garcia in a kickboxing match. He throws the same combos everytime and has the worst head movement, and worst technique. Why do the judges love his sloppiness?

While I enjoy seeing him fight sometimes, I do agree that Garcia is falling into a tiresome pattern. He's very fortunate to not be paired up with many truly powerful strikers, since he's often ripe for the picking from about 2:30 of Round 2 and onward. I don't dislike the guy, and I take my hat off to him for dodging bullets for as long as he has, but it's crazy to see sometimes.
He has to be a boxing coaches worst nightmare with the way he quickly abandons any sort of technical aspect, and just starts whipping his arms around like he's in the cage with more than one opponent.

Credit Garcia though, he knew it was a bullsh*t decision.

I gave rounds 1 and 3 to Garcia. That translates to a 29-28 win. LMFAO. Garcia is the worst. Honestly, I have NO IDEA how this guy gets the gift decisions that he does. The decision over Jung and this one was just a travesty. Why do they give it to him? WHY?

I think the only good thing that came from the terrible decision was Rogan going on a rant about how bad the Vegas Athletic Commission is for appointing those judges. My favorite line was when Hendricks and Story were fighting. Joe said neither guy should take any of their efforts for granted cause the judges might award the fight to a mouse in the corner, the referee, or a girl selling beer in the crowd.

I'm still scratching my head. People can go on and on about "Never let it go to the judges", but that doesn't hide the fact that judges ARE THERE and NEED to be educated on the sport and NEED to know how to judge an MMA fight.

ok...
usually Ultimate Fighter finales are (to be brutally honest) one of the best Cards the UFC puts together (whether its a PPV or not)..... but this one was "meh"...
Nam Phan looked AMAZING. I am a big fan of brawlers. I love Leonard Garcia but jesus f***ing christ dude...please learn som technical striking. He has a great chin, why not add a great technical striking offense to add to that chin to really make him something to watch at 145. TWO BULLSH** DECISIONS GOING TO GARCIA. How could he even be happy about that one? Rampage was disappointed in his win (and I thought he won...and still do)...it was very clear Leonard lost that fight. The UFC better do a rematch just to 'right' this wrong.
Bonnar looked great. He will never face top guys at 205 but he will always be the headline of Ultimate fighter finales and UFN's. Very exciting fighter to watch.
Brookins. I like the dude but PUT YOUR MOTHER F***ING CHIN DOWN. You would think after getting tagged a couple of times you would be like "alright, f*** I need to start covering up.."..
but Brookins still has his head straight up. I think if he works on his striking technique the guy could be something really special. But I THOUGHT he would have been working on that during the build up to the finale...I guess not...
..I still don't like Michael Johnson.

Bonnar is great. He's like the UFC's Christian. You just want to see him break away from the damn midcard and win a belt already, because he's so over and talented. But he'll just never break through the glass ceiling. Same thing with Kenny Florian. Except he just chokes.
