Quick question, when did Rock wear his Legends 3 attire?

technically the Legends 3 Rock is not 100% accurate. The figure itself is a perfect WrestleMania X-8 figure. The problem is with the shirt itself. The Rock wore the, "Layeth The Smacketh Down!" shirt in late 1999 to mid 2000. The shirt that should be included with the figure is the, "Get Ready, Because Your Candy Ass Is Next!".

Yeah. i could see why Mattel opted to not use that shirt what with WWE being all PG and all. I wouldve prefered the Candy Ass shirt but oh well.

Only the front of the shirt ("GET READY...") would be printed. The shirt the figure comes with said Candy Ass on the back of the real one, too. I wish the figure was based on Survivor Series '98 (the back of the box is all about that event anyway), with the shirt being the one with the blue Brahma Bull on the front. I always loved that shirt.

Wait I found it, it is based of early 2001, when he had matches on Smackdown with Big Show and Triple H

Wait I found it, it is based of early 2001, when he had matches on Smackdown with Big Show and Triple H eh no. In early 01', The Rock was busy with Kurt Angle. Triple H was mainly feuding with Austin and I don't remember what Big Show was doing. The figure is definitely based on a late 2001-2002 Rock ( he wore that EXACT attire @ WM X-8) Let me break it down for you. 1st off, the logo. That font for The Rock debuted at King of The Ring 2000. Prior to that he wore trunks with font seen on the Defining Moments Rock as well as the Entrance Greats Rock. those fonts had various color schemes that were usually white/silver/gold writing with a color around the lettering which was either blue/purple/red etc, but from Wrestlemania 2000 to the King of the Ring it was solid gold Back to the figure: when The Rock came back he wore different color schemes, but favored a white with red trim design. At 'Mania, it was solid gold, in that design. Secondly, his hair. prior to his July 2001 return, The Rock sported a hair cut similar to the one seen on the DM and EG figures, with varying degrees of sideburn length. When he did come back he had very short hair, without a fade, and no sideburns. This is what the figure sports. I hope this clarifies any question you have about the Legends 3 Rock. While we're on the topic, I'd like to bring up the inaccuracy of the EG figure (which is my current favorite wwe figure). It should be called the Saint Valentine's Massacre Rock. because @ Rumble ' 99 he wore the sweat suit that's seen on the back of the box, but his trunks are supposed to have red where the blue is. Also the music is all wrong. for the record, The Rock never used that version of his theme, it was released on the Anthology CD set but never used in the arena. The toy should've used his, "Do You Smell What The Rock is Cookin'?" theme.
