Any ideas for a formula for a Mattel 1998/99 Mankind? Don't mind whether it's the sweatpants or brown tights, but with the shirt.
I guess there are no options for the shirt other than sculpting or using a Ralphs-esque fabric shirt.
I think Jakks CS heads will probably be too big, but maybe the BCA Cactus Jack head -- anyone know how much modding is necessary on a BCA head to go on a Mattel body? Or perhaps the Cactus Jack TTL head would be more appropriate.
And which Mattel body do you think would be the most suitable base? I'm thinking Hacksaw Duggan. If I go with a brown tights Mankind, I could just paint the legs brown and boots black and switch the kneepads. Could even use his head slightly repainted with a BCA Mankind mask on it (if it fits).
Any ideas welcome.

i think a dusty rhodes body would be perfect and yea use ralphs clothing for the tights and shirt and for the head ur best bet would be the ttl head because thats what i see everyone use when they make a mattel custom so yea

Maybe you could go with George Steele as a base? I don't know how it would scale, but the parts seem appropriate enough for Mankind.
