Shields is a tremendous fighter and deserves every bit of accolades he deserves, Shields is basically the only guy left for GSP and the only guy who I've thought might be able to bother GSP (though I still think GSP would win and win pretty easily). But they could still have a GSP/BJ or Kos/BJ money if BJ wins and have Shields face someone else to face the winner.

I know what Kos is going to do, but I will not reveal it because I do not want to give up his game plan. I will say it will be nice to see my brother goback to his roots and bring home another title to AKA. You are out of your mind dude. You actually believe he will come into GSP's hometown and beat GSP and take the belt?? Wow... Anything is possible in MMA and upsets can and will happen, but this one is very unlikely. GSP has beaten the best guys they threw at him. Where-as Koscheck got his ass knocked out by Paulo Thiago not too long ago. He also lost to Thiago Alves too.. Plus, Koscheck is a liar and a cheater too. We all saw when he faked the eye poke from "Rumble" Johnson, not to mention his famous sell job of the phantom knee-strike from Paul Daley. He stalled both times to get a breather and we all know it. It was smart of him to do that because he got away with it and won both times. It just wasn't right or fair, that's all. I think GSP will beat him in the 3rd. Not really sure how, but I think it'll be over in the 3rd round for sure.

How long ago was that? And when he fought Serra again, he dominated them. GSP has only lost twice in his career and beaten the guys who beat him.

Is it wrong for me to WANT Koscheck to win just to change the WW division up a bit?
If GSP wins then the only interesting fight for him left would be Shields...
if he beats Kos I don't want to see him fight Fitch OR BJ again...
the only interesting matches for GSP at this time are against Shields and a move up to 185 to fight Anderson. Every other WW I think GSP mauls them...
but if Kos wins that just sets up some interesting sh**. If Fitch wins against BJ, will Fitch really move up to 185 just to avoid fighting his AKA teammate? If BJ wins I would love to see Kos/BJ. I would even like to see Kos/Shields.

Kinda goes backto what I was saying before as well. The only way I see Kos winning is if he catches GSP like Serra did. Otherwise he has nothing to offer for him.

Does anyone else remember when Mr. Old School was convinced Patrick Cote was going to beat Anderson Silva and then after the fight talked about how impressive Cote was and would have a well deserved rematch waiting for him and would bet on Cote again (yes he bet on Cote the first time). It always cracks me up when he makes fun of other peoples predictions when I remember that. It always makes me nervous if he picks a fighter I like as well

Or how Cain didn't even remotely have a single ounce of any chance, in any aspect of the fight against Lesnar.

or lets not forget that Forrest was going to not just win against Anderson...
...but he was going to KO Anderson Silva. Yes, because we all know the KO power that Forrest possesses.
but still, Mr. Old School probably has a better record of picking fights than I do. Lately I have been pretty sh***y when it comes to the main events and the co-main events but have been decent with the other fights on the card. It is just how passionate Mr. Old School is with his picks that always gives me a good chuckle.

Let's not forget the Lesnar-style victory rants after he called the Couture/Toney fight accurately.

Let's not forget the Lesnar-style victory rants after he called the Couture/Toney fight accurately. Hey man, at least I didn't pick Toney to win, unlike some people on here... I'm not saying you picked Toney. I just know that some people on here did and they should still feel embarassed for picking that bum. Picking James Toney to win his first ever MMA fight against someone who is as experienced as Couture is has to be the worst prediction ever!! Say what you guys want about me and all the bad calls that I've made. At least I didn't pick Toney to win. That one was WAY ing worse than ANY of the ones I've said and you know it.

People were saying Toney had a punchers chance, which isn't a far fetched statement. You, on the other hand, make these strong claims in such a falsely-authoritative manner that it does make you look ridiculous. You're just full of a lot of hot air, and even when you're wrong, you grab at anything to try and cover it up. People point out the numerous times you've made ridiculous claims, so what do you do? You point at a small handful of people giving Toney a chance, and claim they're SOOOOO much more worse than yourself. It isn't even so much that you develop the predictions you have, but the way you present them. You go on tirades, acting as if this is just the way it is, and we'll have to wait and see just how right you are. And I bet any money if Couture had been (T)KO'd in his previous fight, you would have picked Toney to win. Just so you could go on another rant in hopes of saying "told ya so" when it was over.

Can't wait for this! It was interesting to see on "MMALive" that both the in-studio guests (Stephan Bonnar and Pat Militech) picked Koscheck to win. I can't see it happening myself but who knows... my pick is GSP by unanimous decision - I'd love him to get the stoppage though. Anyway, the crowd alone is a good enough reason to watch this fight. Yeah... the heel-heat on Koscheck will be insane. I wonder if they'll start a " you, Koscheck!" chant (like they did with Serra at UFC 83), lol? If GSP wins, I can see him vs. Anderson after he fights Shields and Anderson fights Okami. Yeah, it would seem like the natural move - the MW is just so stacked at the moment though... and I'm sure the UFC will want to fit the Sonnen rematch in there somewhere asap.
