My first Mattel find was a big one and still my largest purchase. I was out late, getting food, and decided to check out TRU before they closed. This was at the end of December and I didn't expect to see much, the Mattels weren't due to be out for a couple more days. Instead of empty pegs, however, I came across the entire Series 1 collection fresh out of the cases! I think I was the first person there, the whole Mattel section looked very neat and tidy.
That day, I bought:
All of Elite 1 All of the 2-pack sets Basics 1 Boxed Set Basics 1 variants of Jericho and Batista WMH Edge, Austin, and Orton
It was a great day, I was excited to be there at the beginning of the Mattel era and have so many Series 1 figures!

The first Mattel I purchased was a Series 1 Triple H last Nov from AUS member Roosta. The first Mattel figures I purchased in a US store were Series 1 HHH, 1/1000 Cena, Batista, Big Show at my local TRU a week before last Christmas.
The first Mattel figure I got on Jan 1st were... EG HHH Basic 1 Big Show (1/1000) Elite 1 Undertaker MVP Edge Punk
all from the Nanuet NY TRU. And then from the Hackensack NJ Target I picked up -
2-Packs Series 1 Legacy HBK/Jericho Santino/ Beth WM Heritage Austin (1/1000) Edge Orton Undertaker And I think the FF DX HBK

I went a little crazy on January 1st when I got there and finally saw the new WWE Mattel line for the first time....I just started grabbing them and basically bought everything I could physically carry to the register. lol You should have gotten a cart lol.

My first should have been Basic 1 Batista, which I ordered from Roosta´s Wrestling Store on eBay, but this mofo screwed me very badly. I had started a topic about this a long time ago with many proofs. This a*hole never refunded my money or shipped out my figure. I can only warn about this scumbag!
My first ever Mattel figure that I held in hand was Entrance Greats HHH. I really love this figure. Now I´m only collecting Legends and all related figures like Defining Moments and Entrance Greats.
