well if you're gonna open it, just get the loose one. however, you run the risk of imperfections. if you're super anal about the condition of your figs (which there is nothing wrong with) - save yourself the headache and get the MOC one.
it's your buck.

Get the one you think is the best. Personally I hate buying anything that is loose...but I also hate to pay secondary market prices. The Undertaker was $25 + shipping when I got it from Matty.com

It is pretty awesome packaging, but if you're gonna open it and whatnot (like I did), you might as well save the money and go loose. This thread just made me search for the box of my SDCC Undertaker -- it was in a bag in the kitchen!

Sorry I was mistaken, I thought it meant $25 + shipping as I wanted to know how much the shipping was

I would say get the MOC one man. For $10 more you know you are getting a mint figure without scratches/scuffs on it plus you get the awesome packaging if you decide to take it out of the package. Hope that helps!

I think you should buy it loose as $45 is a little pricey

Maybe this was more true with Jakks figures, but with Mattel's crappy quality control, a figure can be smudged and scuffed to hell before it's even packaged.

True but I meant more on the lines if is has been heavily played/handled with by a previous owner. You take more of a chance on a less expensive possibly used figure versus knowing that the figure is at least MOC. Then again it all depends what oursaviourpunk is looking for out of the fig.
