just wondering what people think about a beverley brothers set by mattel. dont think any have ever been released and altho they never won gold, i have really fond memories of them and thought they were quite good wrestlers overall. also a triple set with the genius would be cool. what you guys think and could it be possible?

I'm all for making anyone, and everyone, but these guys are really far down on my list.

I honestly don't see them getting made, even though they were a good heel team from 91 - 93. They rank in the same place that Power & Glory would rank. Sure, hardcore fans would want them, but over all I am sure everyone could think of a dozen other teams we'd wanna see before Beverly Brothers getting released.

They were pretty boring in the WWF. And those tights. Dont even get me started on the capes. Those things lookeed like shower curtains.

It would great to get the Beverly Brothers since we have never got them. Hopefully Mattel makes them before they make some of the teams that every company has made. Mattel should try to work to make figures of wrestlers we never had figures of before. Besides its not like they would sell any worse than the Legends 2 packs they already released.

Maybe they could make them in their AWA gimmicks!

I'd love to see them released as the Minnesota Wrecking Crew WAY before the Beverley Sisters and beyond that, I'd want to see The British Bulldogs YEARS before that happens.

I'd like to get them just because they have never got figure treatment from any company ever. The Destruction Crew gimmick (albiet entertaining to me) is a longshot at best. So I would be happy just gettin the Beverlys.

I hated those guys as a kid. I would buy them, but there's a lot of tag teams I would prefer over them. They would probably be shelfwarmers too.

They wouldn't shelfwarm anymore than The Bushwackers, Iron Sheik/Volkoff, or Piper/Orton. They might even sell better than these three since they are the first ever Beverly Brothers figures.

No thanks. There are way too many wrestlers I want first.

They're nowhere near the top of my list as far as tag teams go but I wouldn't object to seeing figures of them made.

I'd buy them, but I agree with what some of the other guys have said - they probably wouldn't sell too well since they weren't major stars.

personally i'm not interested in them. i'm only really interested in 1995-2001 (monday night wars) superstars from mainly WCW but also WWF. and ones Jakks haven't already made, unless the Jakks headscan sucked.

So you're saying you want them as Mike Enos and Wayne Bloom for their WCW Monday Night Wars era? ME TOO! I loved Enos and Bloom. Plus them we can have Rough & Ready with Dirty Dick Slater and recreate the time when Scott interrupted the match with Mike Enos and started the nWo!

yeah i thought this would have mixed opinions lol. i agree they arent priority but i would prefer them over 6 different versions of lod. just because they have never been released. and like someone said their music was great.

Sure I always like Enos & Bloom. Now the Beverly Brothers gimmick sucked, but they were cool.

I am working a show with the Genius tonight. I will inquire to see if he is getting a Mattel figure.

They are a pretty high priority with me. I always thought it was surprising that they didn't get Hasbro figures, since they were one of the top heel tag teams from '91-'92.
