lmfao. has anyone been able/is it even possible to save the man whose getting executed when you arrive at solitude for the first time? I felt bad for the dude so I stepped upon the stage ready to make my first move and BAM the whole of Solitude is on my ass. it was absolutely insane/hilarious/scary. I tried to fight them off several times but in the end I had to load up my save from a bit earlier in the game. Literally like 10 guards chasing me around everywhere. ah well. Just done the 'infiltrate the Thalmor party mission'. Amazing stuff. Although what began as a plan to go Solid Snake on everyone's ass soon turned into several of the least subtle battles I've had in the game. I didn't try because I kinda wanted to see him die. But I looted his body well his head.. I am now level 34 almost to level 35 and am doing a Daedric Quest on Molag Bog [sp?] I just don't know where to go to find this priest?

Just beat the main quest. I didn't plan on beating it this fast but I started doing the story earlier and I just had to see how it ended.

^ That's cool. I started the Thieves Guild quest because I wanted to get the item you get at the end.. Spoiler: It is the Skeleton Key so yeah I need that a lot. I only did the first mission but plan to complete a lot of it soon enough. I don't know where Lydia went off too though! I had her ass wait in front of this dungeon because she kept dying and when I got out she was nowhere to be found! I go back to my house in Whiterun where she usually hangs out if I am not using her and she was not there. I then went to the Whiterun Jarl's house and she isn't there either. So I hope she turns up; I don't see how she could have died. The area where I left her was completely cleared of enemies. So because she is MIA I hired this mage in Riften to follow me; hopefully he is competent enough to help me out..

christ, I have played for ages today I normally can't play games for more than a couple of hours at a time but I must have done at least 7 hours in total:/ Started at 00:30 and it's 3:30 now... eeeeep.
Anyway, finished the companions quests. got the gift! spoilers below. I CAN NOW BE A MOTHER FUDGING WEREWOLF, YEEEAAAHHHHHHHHHHHh and I'm now starting the thieves guild quests as my housemate has finished them and told me they're awesome.
I'm really trying to do a good amount of side quests rather than smashing through the story as I love this game so much and want to get the most out of it! No idea how far into the main quest I am but the old paranoid dude has just come back to riverwood with me and is meeting me on a wall with Delphine.

I didn't play any today because I my free time was spent on the computer, watching 2 episodes of The Walking Dead, and buying/playing WWE 12 but I will try to get some Thanksgiving play later today.

Man I lost myself in the game. I've played from...perhaps 11 PM until 6 AM today. Skyrim is so...compelling. Craziest ing turn of events though. I traveled to a town with a mine and a farm, I forgot what it was called. I fast traveled there and I was heading to a fort to take it over, when a Fugitive asked me to hold a Dwarven Shield and ran off. Then a hunter showed up and asked me if I saw where he went. In the middle of the conversation everyone started shooting upwards. A in' dragon. The dragon was attacking the town, landed on a rooftop, and killed some people. Eventually I took down the dragon. Looking through the remains of the town, I noticed everyone was dead except for a little girl. Yep. The child was all alone. So I left. I headed for an area with Hot Springs and I saw two cave bears. I began taking them on when a ing dragon from a mountain was seen in the background. I assumed he wasn't gonna come down, but then suddenly he started zapping me ice. I barely took everyone down though. It was crazy. That's why I love this game.

I beat the main quest last night. SUPER disappointed with how it ends. I think I'm going to make a new stealth-focused character so I can be better equipped to do the Dark Brotherhood and Thieve's Guild quests.

Got attacked by 2 dragons at the same time, a frost and a blood dragon. Too busy healing myself to put up much of an attack. After 30 minutes of barely scratching them, I ducked into a nearby mine that the Forsworn were in. Cleaned that out, and when I exited only the frost dragon remained. Picked him off easily.
Finally got my smithing skill up to 100 and put together a set of Dragonplate armor, and a set of Dragonscale armor (which I prefer as it's much lighter and almost as strong). Got most of a suit of Daedric armor and a couple of weapons. Gonna need more Ebony ingots, but I mined all the ore out of Gloombound Mine, so I need money. Just started the Companions missions, but right now it's LSU football time.

^ That is cool. Who did you get married too? Got attacked by 2 dragons at the same time, a frost and a blood dragon. Too busy healing myself to put up much of an attack. Got most of a suit of Daedric armor and a couple of weapons. Gonna need more Ebony ingots, but I mined all the ore out of Gloombound Mine, so I need money. Just started the Companions missions, but right now it's LSU football time. That is awesome. I want Dragonscale armor but I will never get my smithing skill to level 100 and if I did I think you can only make dragon armor if you spend like 5-7 perks on smithing which for me is NOT going to happen [it's a low priority for my current character]. Hell I don't think I've even started to do smithing stuff; my level is only 16. My highest level is Alchemy which is level 90 and for me is perked out to the max [that I want to spend] so I'm happy. I have not made a lot of potions in a while; still can barely sell my last batch off and that was a while ago! My potions are still going for $400+ each one so it takes a while to sell 50 of them. My other top skills are all pretty high by themselves or with item boosts. For instance my Light Armor skill is around 62 but I have this Scaled Armor that boosts my Light Armor skill by 18 points so it is a green # 80 showing that it is boosted. Other examples are that my Destruction is level 65, Conjuration is level 60, One-Handed is level 60, and Restoration is level 55. Speech is usually always boosted by the begger boost [if you don't know about this you should donate 1 Septim to a begger and you should get a +5-15 point boost to your Speech skill for 8 hours I think. I always pay off a bum before I buy/sell stuff. Anyone else do special things before they buy/sell, attempt lock picking, or make potions? I know before I buy/sell stuff I wear my Necklace of Haggling [+15% to prices] and my Thieves Guild Hood Version II [+15% to prices]. Add in my perk boost to Speech [+10% to prices of bought/sold goods] and my buying/selling goes up by 40%. For lock picking I have special grieves that boosts lock picking by 20%, a Necklace of Eminent Lock Picking [+30% to lock picking], and a Ring of Lock Picking that further boosts that skill by 15%. So before I attempt to pick locks of anything I change my clothes and then I have a +65% increase to my lock picking skill. Alchemy has even more items to make ALL of my potions and poisons stronger. I have a Circlet of Eminent Alchemy that increases potion strength by 22%, a Ring of Pure Mixtures that gives +12% to potions, Grieves of Alchemy that give me +20% to created potions, and finally I have a Necklace of Alchemy that gives an additional boost to my potion/poison strength by 20%. So yeah my potions are so strong they are just so damn hard to sell. I rambled on too much.. My game update since last time is that I am now at level 37 and Lydia is NOT dead! She was waiting at my house after a little while. I think she got jealous that I paid this guy to follow me after I thought she had died.. Sorry girl I moved on and he is actually worth the $500. Being a mage he can for the most part heal when he knows he is about to die so I don't have to babysit him as much.. I also completed 2 more chapters of the Thieves Guild quest but I have more to come. I need to stop talking though.. I have stuff to do but I hope people continue to talk about the game; I like to read your stuff.

So, I met the leader of the Greybeards today . . .
That was a surprise. The follow-up led me to finding a SWEET sword called Dragonbane. Gonna bring a "mule" to haul the armor for me so I can hook it up at a blacksmith's place.

^ Good luck with that. I was thinking a potential character could be Thor but that would be in a long time. Today so far has a been a pretty good day. I did a lot so. Like 3 parts of the Thieves Guild and some miscellaneous quests I've been putting off. I killed two dragons today as well. I swear almost EVERY time I got to the College of Winterhold I am attacked by a dragon! He died really fast this time because there were a couple mages out there to beat him down along with my ally and myself of course. About to do one of the last Thieves Guild missions. Should be cool.

To answer the question, I married Camilla from Riverwood. It's a nice perk getting money and a meal every time you go home

So much for today's update. Fired up the PS3 after getting home from work, download and install the new update, and start playing. Just killed a dragon 5 minutes ago and am still waiting to absorb its soul. I've only got 4 stockpiled, so it doesn't leave me with too much room to learn more shouts. Is there an offical PS3 site/forum to report this?

^ You get paid by your finace if you talk to them? That is kinda cool. I'm not really looking to get married right now but later on I will. I finished the longest Thieves Guild Quest and am practically done with it now. Spoilers: So yeah Mercer's ass was killed fairly easily too. Me and Karlia/the other guy who starts with a K or J *forget his name..* were in that big Dwarven ruin for a long ass time! But I'm done and now have the Skeleton Key! Stupid ass Karlia expects me to give it up so soon? Bitch! I just worked really hard for this so no I think if I ever give it up it will be when my lock picking skill is VERY high . So she can wait; I'm not going to be crazy like Mercer I'm just using it for things I need to unlock in the future. So yeah I should play some more tonight but I have some school sh*t to get done in an hour and then Raw so it might be pushed to tonight.

While uploading pics of non-decomposing dragon to Photobucket, I just witnessed my first flying mammoth. Outside of the choppy framerate that would pop up after playing several hours in a row, I'd had no problems until this afternoon. Thanks, Bethesda!

You get 100 gold per day from your wife running a shop. Plus the home cooked meals are nice healing items. And they have a store you can buy and sell items with.
