Monday Night Raw - March 29, 2010 - "So Long, Old Friend" |
[/color][/b][/td][/tr][/table][/center] A video package recapping Wrestlemania 26 opens tonight's show. The video focuses mainly on Jack Swagger's MITB win, John Cena's WWE Championship win, and The Undertaker extending his legendary streaking while ending Shawn Michaels' career at the same time. Tonight, Shawn Michaels says goodbye to the WWE Universe.
"I Walk Alone" hits as the former WWE Champion Batista makes his way down to the ring. The WWE Universe showers 'The Animal' with "You tapped out" chants. Batista says that John Cena committed a crime at Wrestlemania last night when he stole the WWE Championship from him. He should still be champion, not Cena. Batista then says that he wants Cena to come down to the ring and hand him back his title. The champ makes his way down to the ring to a huge ovation. He grabs a microphone and tells Batista that the only thing he's giving back is a thank you to the WWE Universe. He says that if Batista wants the title back, he has to win it fair and square. Cena then says that he'll be glad to give Batista that opportunity tonight. Batista thinks about it for a few seconds before responding with no. Batista says that he will name the place for their rematch. Cena and Batista continue to stare at one another until Sheamus hits the ring and attacks Cena. Both Sheamus and Batista beat down on the champion until Triple H makes the save and cleans house. Triple H helps Cena back up. Cena says that if Batista and Sheamus want a piece of him, then how about they do it in a Tag Team Match tonight. Batista and Sheamus both nod their heads in agreement.
[Commercial Break]
After Raw returns, the theme of Jack Swagger hits as Mr. Money In The Bank himself comes down to the ring. Swagger takes a microphone and says many people are claiming that his victory last night at Wrestlemania was a shocker. Swagger says that it was far from a shocker because he was the odds on favorite to win. Swagger says that he doesn't know when he will cash in his contract, but when he does, he will be the odds on favorite their as well.
Jack Swagger def. Evan Bourne
A very solid contest to kick of Monday Night Raw. Swagger's ego seemed to skyrocket with the Money In The Bank contract in his possession. Swagger wasn't on fire for the whole match as Bourne sent him out of the ring early on and launched himself over the top rope onto him. Swagger was able to gain the momentum after he caught Bourne during a crossbody attempt. Swagger slammed Bourne down to the ground with a running powerslam and followed up with his corner splash. Swagger finished Bourne off with a Gutwrench Powerbomb to gain the victory.
Following the match, Swagger threw Bourne out onto the outside. Swagger took his MITB briefcase and leveled Bourne in the head with it. Swagger walked back up the ramp as help came out of Bourne.
A graphic was shown for tonight's main event hat will see Batista team up with Sheamus to take on Triple H and the new WWE Champion, John Cena.
[Commercial Break]
We are now taken back to the classic scene of Shawn Michaels betraying Marty Jannetty and throwing him head first through the window of the 'Barber Shop'. A graphic is then shown for Shawn Michaels' goodbye speech later tonight.
Vladimir Kozlov was shown in the ring at this time. 'The Moscow Mauler' said that he is tired of being overlooked and is going to make a statement right now by issuing an open challenge. Kozlov and audience wait to see who accepts the challenge. Soon, the WWE Universe erupts as Randy Orton makes his way down to the ring.
Randy Orton def. Vladimir Kozlov
A decent match here. Surprisingly this was not a squash match. Kozlov showed a ton of offense and was in control for some time. The crowd was hot for Orton, who used the energy from the WWE Universe to fight his way out of Kozlov's bear hug. Kozlov lifted Orton up high and had hoped to drop him on his chest. However, Orton was able to land on his feet. When Kozlov turned around, Orton planted him with a vicious RKO. Orton covered Kozlov and got the win.
As Orton was celebrating, Ted DiBiase hit the ring and layed Orton out with the Million Dollar Championship. DiBiase took a microphone and told Orton that he doesn't need him or Cody anymore, because with his trust fund money, he will rule the WWE. DiBiase stood tall over Orton as the audience showered him with boos.
[Commercial Break]
Ted DiBiase was shown walking around backstage when Josh Mathews approached him. Mathews asked Ted what he meant when he said that he and his trust fund will run the WWE? Ted said that his father had set up a trust fund for him and he would be allowed to access it after he had his first Wrestlemania. Now he is loaded and set for life. He no longer needs anybodies help, and he will show Randy Orton why he was the true star of The Legacy.
A quick highlight video was shown for the classic Ironman Match between Shawn Michaels and Bret Hart at Wrestlemania 12, which is where the 'Boyhood Dream' came true and Shawn Michaels became the WWE Champion for the first time ever.
Bret Hart and The Hart Dynasty make their way down to the ring to an astonishing ovation. Bret says that he's glad he was able to make peace with Shawn Michaels before this day. Bret then said that he's really glad that last night at Wrestlemania, he was able to let out 13 years of frustrations on Vince McMahon. Bret then turned his attention to The Hart Dynasty and thanked them for their support last night. The four of them raised each other's hands, but were soon interrupted by ShoMiz. The Miz took a microphone and congratulated Bret on defeating Vince in with help from his entire family. Miz then asked Bret why he did that, claiming that Bret knew he couldn't defeat Vince on his own. Kidd told Miz to just worry about the Tag Team Titles because he and Smith are hungry for them. Big Show told Kidd that he should be concerned about his health if he steps into the ring with he and Miz. The 'Awesome One' told Bret and The Hart Dynasty to pull up a few chairs at ringside and watch what will happen if they step in the ring with them. Bret and The Hart Dynasty did so as MVP and Mark Henry made their way down to the ring.
ShoMiz def. MVP and Mark Henry
A solid first hour main event here. Bret and The Hart Dynasty did as The Miz suggested and look on at ringside, but none of them seemed to be concerned about the dangers of ShoMiz. After Mark Henry was knocked off of the apron courtesy of a Knockout Punch, Miz planted MVP with the Skull Crushing Finale to get the win.
Following the match, Bret and The Hart Dynasty applauded ShoMiz as they made their way back up the entrance ramp. Miz repeatedly told them to watch what happens. Still, none of them seemed to be concerned.
A graphic was shown for tonight's main event. Batista and Sheamus vs. Triple H and WWE Champion John Cena.
[Commercial Break]
We are now taken back to the very first Elimination Chamber Match at Survivor Series in 2002. It was here that Shawn Michaels won his final World Championship. Later tonight, we will hear from the 'Heartbreak Kid' one final time.
Evan Bourne was shown in the Trainer's Room having a bag of ice placed on his head. Christian was at his side to make sure that he was okay. Jack Swagger soon walked in and mocked Bourne. Christian told Swagger to back off and leave him alone, but Swagger got in Christian's face and told him that he's just jealous that he came so close to winning Money In The Bank, but was knocked off by him. Christian told Swagger that he will deal with him later, but not now. Swagger pushed Christian, who fought back. Officials stormed into the room to separate the two.
Kofi Kingston and Eve def. Zack Ryder and Divas Champion Maryse
A solid Mixed Tag Team Match, but nothing to special. The crowd really got behind Kingston and Eve after Kofi launched himself over the top rope onto Ryder. After Kingston dropped Ryder with the SOS, Maryse argued with the referee in order to create a distraction and give Ryder time to regroup. Things didn't go the way Maryse wanted to though as Eve snuck up behind her and pulled her feet off of the apron and causing her to hit her face on the apron. After Ryder got back on his feet, Kingston hit him with Trouble In Paradise to get the victory for his team.
Shawn Michaels was shown in his locker room putting on his cowboy hat when Triple H walked in. The two friends hugged each other. Triple H told Shawn that he wants him to know that he will always love him and he'll always be my best friend. Shawn thanked Hunter before he made his way out of the room.
[Commercial Break]
After the commercial break, a graphic was shown for a match next week. Jack Swagger will take on Christian after what happened earlier tonight between them.
WWE Champion John Cena and Triple H def. Batista and Sheamus
A solid main event. Batista and Sheamus desperately needed this victory after losing both of their matches at Wrestlemania, but things didn't go the way they wanted. The two heels got into countless arguments and it ended up costing them the match. After Triple H made the hot tag to Cena, he was able to take out both Batista and Sheamus. Cena dropped Sheamus with an Attitude Adjustment to get the victory.
While Triple H and Cena made their way to the back, a highlight video was shown for the Shawn Michaels/Undertaker match last night at Wrestlemania. A graphic is then shown for Shawn's goodbye speech coming up next.
[Commercial Break]
A promo was shown for Extreme Rules
"Sexy Boy" hits for possibly the final time as Shawn Michaels makes his way down to the ring. He takes him time slapping the hands of the WWE Universe before entering the ring. As he is about to begin his speech, a loud gong is heard as the lights go off. The Undertaker soon steps out onto the stage. He stares at Michaels for a while before tipping his hat and leaving. Michaels goes on with speech, thanking the WWE Universe, Triple H, Bret Hart, and even Vince McMahon. The audience chants "One more match", which Shawn responds to by saying that he is going to make sure that doesn't happen. Shawn soon finished his speech by saying "This is how we started and this is how we're going to end. Ladies and gentleman, The Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels has left the building." The crowd applauds Michaels as he takes him walking back up the entrance ramp. Shawn looks over the crowd before taking off his cowboy hat and placing it on the stage. Michaels leaves to the back as the camera zooms in on the hat, ending Monday Night Raw.

-A tag team match tonight should be good, a big main event not to forget HBK's final speech, so pumped as I love writing this time period more than any other period. -Swagger over Bourne is good, hope he gets some build before a cash-in as I feel it was slightly rushed. -Randy Orton over Vladimir Kozlov was the right call, also good for him here, nothing wrong here. -ShoMiz over MVP and Mark Henry was expected, as well as setting up Hart Dynasty/ShoMiz for the titles. -Kofi Kingston and Eve over Zack Ryder and Maryse seemed like an enjoyable tag match, please push Ryder. -Cena and HHH over Batista and Sheamus, despite an overkill in tag matches, I liked that main event. -Shawn Michaels ending promo was great. I can't wait to see how the scene changes now that he's gone, could've had all superstars come out and end with an "HBK" chant but I loved it. -Good show; very good start, hope this goes a long time.

- Nice opening segment, Batista and Sheamus beating down is quite the buildup for a nice tag match between the two.Wrestlemania matches -Swagger over Bourne is good helps build Swagger towards when he cashes that briefcase hopefully not soon though -Orton over Kozlov is good and good at not making Kozlov weak, DiBiase/Orton singles fued is a good way to go though hopefully Cody isn't lost in the shuffle. -ShowMiz over MVP and Henry is a easy call, HD hopefully can take the belts from ShowMiz -Intergender tag match was good, Ryder and Kofi could be a good undercard rivalry if developed well. -Another tag match , little meh about that but good main event and we'll see.how WWE title picture shapes up -I loved the HBK farewell greatly done and good overall some fueds are beginning to heat up which is really thr purpose of a post WM show.

Nice way to set-up the main event for later on in the show. Solid opener, keep Swagger's push going! Orton over Kozlov shouldn't have gone any other way. Loving the DiBiase push. ShoMiz over Henry and MVP is fine. I'm expecting the Hart Dynasty to take the straps off ShoMiz. I quite like the pairing of Maryse and Ryder, shame they lost. Cena and Triple H winning was fine. Overall, the show was good, but 3 tag team matches in a row was overkill.

Friday Night Smackdown! | April 2, 2010 | "Gambling On The Edge" |
A video package kicks off tonight's show recapping Wrestlemania 26. The video focuses on the CM Punk/Rey Mysterio and Chris Jericho/Edge matches. The video ends with Edge spearing Edge through the barricade after an unsuccessful attempt at becoming the World Heavyweight Champion.
"Break The Walls Down" hits as the World Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho makes his way down to the ring with his championship still intact. He's still clearly feeling the effects of Edge's spear as he holds his ribs in pain the entire time. Jericho says that he proved all of the hypocrites and parasites wrong at Wrestlemania when he retained the World Heavyweight Champion. He also proved that he is not an average man because an average man wouldn't have been able to get back up from the Spear that he took through the barricade. Jericho trashes Edge, saying that he attempted to end his career because he is a sore loser. Soon, Edge makes his way down to the ring. He tells Jericho that he did what he did at Wrestlemania because he is the Rated R Superstar, meaning that he can do what he wants when he wants. Jericho tells Edge that it doesn't matter why he did it, he must apologize to the WWE Universe for nearly robbing them of the greatest World Champion in the history of sports entertainment. Edge tells Jericho that he has a better idea. The two of them face off in a rematch for the World Heavyweight Championship tonight. The WWE Universe as Jericho looks at them and Edge in disgust. Jericho tells Edge that in case he hasn't noticed, he's hurt. This prompts Teddy Long to step out onto the stage. long tells Edge that he has to agree with Jericho. There will not be a rematch tonight. However, there will be a rematch at Extreme Rules. Teddy then announces the main event for the evening. Edge will take on an opponent of Jericho's choosing. If Jericho's representative wins, he will be allowed to choose the stipulation for the match. If Edge wins, he can choose the stipulation.
[Commercial Break]
Matt Hardy def. Intercontinental Champion Drew McIntyre via DQ
A solid opening contest here. The announcers put over several times how Matt Hardy is the reason why Drew McIntyre did not walk out of Wrestlemania with the Money In The Bank Briefcase. Drew showed his ruthless and relentless side during this match, barely giving Hardy anytime to regroup. After a failed Twist Of Fate attempt, Drew went outside and snatched his Intercontinental Championship belt. The referee tried to take it away from him, but Drew pushed the referee, causing the disqualification.
After the referee called for the bell, Drew struck Hardy in the head with the championship belt. Drew was not finished here though. He then proceeded to plant Hardy with the Future Shock DDT onto the championship. Drew held the Intercontinental Championship high above his head as the WWE Universe showered him with boos.
Backstage, Josh Mathews was now standing by with Vickie Guerrero and LayCool. Mathews was going to ask Vickie a question, but snatched the mic from him and said that she had something she wanted to say. Vickie said that Wrestlemania was her shining moment, but the WWE Universe is treating it like a joke, calling her 'Frog Splash' a 'Hog Splash'. McCool said that tonight, the WWE Universe is going to get exactly what they have coming to them.
[Commercial Break]
A video recapping Shawn Michaels' retirement speech from Raw was shown. Following the video, the crowd recited with "Thank You Shawn" chants. Soon, Dolph Ziggler made his way down to the ring. He said that there's no need for the WWE Universe to be sad, because the next Shawn Michaels is speaking. Ziggler said that he will accomplish more than Shawn Michaels did and when he retires, he will have a day dedicated to him.
Shelton Benjamin def. Dolph Ziggler
A fantastic contest between two great competitors. The crowd was hot for Benjamin, mainly because of the promo Ziggler cut before the match began. Ziggler attempted to drop Shelton with a Zig-Zag, but 'The Gold Standard' held onto the ropes and Ziggler fell onto his back. When Ziggler turned around, he was planted with a Paydirt, giving Shelton the victory.
World Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho was shown in his locker room talking with his NXT rookie, Wade Barrett. Jericho said that he had no idea who to choose to represent him. Suddenly, the Straight Edge Society walked in. Punk told Jericho that if he wants to make sure that he gets to choose the stipulation for his match against Edge, then he will choose him to be his representative. Jericho thought about it for a second before telling Punk that they have a deal.
[Commercial Break]
ShoMiz (c) def. John Morrison and R Truth to retain the Unified Tag Team Championships
The first hour main event for tonight's show saw a rematch from Wrestlemania. Surprisingly, this match got more time than the encounter on Sunday. Several times throughout the course of the match, the cameras cut to the Hart Dynasty's locker room, who were watching the match very closely. It looked like Morrison and Truth had the match won after Truth launched himself over the top rope and onto Miz. Morrison springboarded off of the top rope, but ended up receiving a Knockout Punch in mid-air. Show covered Morrison to get the win for him and Miz.
Backstage, Josh Mathews was now standing by with Rey Mysterio. Mathews congratulated Rey on his victory at Wrestlemania and asked him what's next for him. Rey said that since everything with Punk is over, he plans to just keep doing what he's doing and hopes that the WWE Universe will enjoy it. Soon, CM Punk and Luke Gallows attacked Rey and laid him out. Punk told Rey that their business is far from over and after he defeats Edge tonight, he will focus on making his life a living hell.
[Commercial Break]
At this time, LayCool and Vickie Guerrero made their way down to the ring with two buckets. Vickie took a microphone and demanded that the WWE Universe 'Excuse' her. Vickie said that at Wrestlemania was supposed to be the moment of her life, but the WWE Universe had taken that moment and turned it into a joke. Soon, a 'Hog Splash' chant broke out, which angered Vickie and LayCool even more. Vickie said that she and LayCool will now make the WWE Universe pay. McCool took the microphone and said that they have two buckets filled with water balloons that they will use to show the everybody why they should've never poked fun at Vickie's shining. Before Michelle and Layla could throw any balloons in the audience, Beth Phoenix hit the ring and cleaned house. As LayCool and Vikcie made their way up the ramp, Phoenix took some of the balloons and threw them at the three heels. Vickie screamed in anger as she was being soaked with water.
A graphic was shown for the main event - Edge vs. CM Punk. If Edge wins, he can choose the stipulation for his match with Chris Jericho at Extreme Rules. If Punk wins, Jericho will be able to choose the stipulation.
[Commercial Break]
After Smackdown returned from the commercial break, The Dudebusters were shown in the ring. They said that since Wrestlemania has come and gone, it's now time for the new generation of superstars to take over. Barreta and Croft both said that they need a challenge. The two Dudebusters may have regretted their words as Kane made his way down to the ring.
Kane def. The Dudebusters
A quick and simple squash match here. Kane dominated Barreta and Croft the entire match and ended up delivering a Double Chokeslam to pick up the victory.
Edge was shown making walking down a hallway. His match with CM Punk with the fate of his rematch with Chris Jericho on the line is next.
[Commercial Break]
A promo for Extreme Rules was shown.
Edge def. CM Punk
A great main event here. CM Punk had the advantage as he had the SES and Chris Jericho in his corner, but Edge still fought hard. After the referee was inadvertently knocked out, Jericho entered the ring with his World Heavyweight Championship belt in hands. He had the intentions on nailing Edge in the skull, but Rey Mysterio hit the ring and took Jericho out with a springboard crossbody. Luke Gallows soon proceeded to chase Rey to the backstage area. Edge soon hit Punk with a spear as a new referee came down and made the three count.
Following his victory, Edge took a microphone as Jericho crawled up the ramp with his World Championship. Edge told Jericho that he better make sure that he's fully healed by Extreme Rules, because there they will face off in his specialty match. A Tables, Ladders, and Chairs Match.

-Wonder who Jericho's representative will be, if it's Edge, I know it'll have something to do with ladders. -Hardy over McIntyre via DQ is fine to not have Hardy look weak, whichever way this one goes is fine by me. -Looked like a good match between two guys in the MITB ladder match, Benjamin winning is good, hope this sets up a push. -ShoMiz over R-Truth and John Morrison is the right call, give Morrison some kind of gold this year. -Really hope you plan on pushing both Kane and Dudebusters, I didn't mind whoever won here. -Great main event, with the two feuds refueling, expecting Punk/Rey and Edge/Jericho at Extreme Rules again here. -Good show; the main event made this one worth while here.

SD: - Solid opening segment, makes sense to save the rematch for Extreme Rules. Interesting main event as well. - The DQ finish makes sense in keeping both men looking strong. - Nice segment with Ziggler although I really think he should have walked away with the victory here. - Punk as Jericho's representative is interesting, I'd expect Punk to have some kind of ulterior motive. - Nice Tag title match and I can see a ShoMiz/ Hart Dynasty feud coming up, could be good. - Good to see the Mysterio/ Punk feud continuing but I really hope you don't copy what really happened. - Decent diva's segment, something that I could really see Vickie and Lay-Cool doing as well. - I hate that your squashing the Dudebusters. A simple singles match would have got Kane over just as well. - Good win for Edge and Rey causing Punk to lose continues their feud. A TLC match between Edge and Jericho could be insane, probably the best option for the two.

-Effective opening, interested to see Jericho's representative -I like how there was a DQ neutralizing both men, hopefully MacIntyre gets the push over Hardy as Hardy is pretty midcard for life -Shocked Ziggler would lose specially after his little promo but losing to Shelton isn't half bad. -ShowMiz winning predictable but good, hopefully Morrison can be broken away from tag team competition. -Well that made the Dudebusters incredibly weak. Looking toward to the direction of Kane -Great Main Event, Edge winning was good and TLC should be good at Extreme Rules Good edition of SD! your main event picture is looking good

Monday Night Raw | April 5, 2010 | "Hammering The Cross" |
Superstars Gail Kim def. Jillian Yoshi Tatsu def. Chavo GuerreroTonight's edition of Raw begins with the guest host of the night , NXT rookie David Otunga, walking into his office. Otunga looks around for a bit before walking up to a table and taking a handful of his 427 green M&M's. When Otunga turned around, he was met by Randy Orton. Orton told Otunga that since he's the guest host for the night, he wants to request a match with Ted DiBiase tonight. Otunga tells Orton that nobody can just walk up to a celebrity like him and just demand something. Orton tells Otunga that if he doesn't give him his match with Ted, he's going to punt him in the head and end his career and his dreams of winning NXT. Soon, Ted DiBiase walked in and told Otunga to give Orton his match because he would love to embarrass him tonight. Otunga thinks about it for a bit before giving them their match and something else. Otunga says that the winner of their match tonight will get to choose the stipulation to their rematch at Extreme Rules. Otunga then walks out of the room, claiming that he has some business to attend to. After Otunga leaves the room, Orton turns Ted around and plants him with an RKO. Orton kneels down and tells Ted that he'll see him tonight.
After that segment was finished, WWE Champion John Cena made his way down to the ring to a huge ovation from the WWE Universe. Cena said that last week, Batista said that he will choose when they have their rematch. Cena said that he wants to know if Batista has chosen when that match will take place, so he asks for Batista to come down to the ring now. After seconds of silence, Batista does so. He tells Cena that they will face each other at Extreme Rules. Cena says that's fine, but he wants to know what kind of match it will be. Batista slowly put the microphone towards his mouth and said "Last Man Standing." Cena told Batista that's great, but he wants the match to happen right now. Cena took off his shirt and yelled at Batista to get in the ring. Batista slowly walked towards the ring, only to walk back up the entrance ramp. as the crowd showed their disapproval, Cena ran out of the ring and charged at Batista. The two of them began trading blows, but Cena got the better of Batista there. Cena hoisted Batista to his shoulders and was looking to drop him with an Attitude Adjustment on the steel ramp, but Sheamus entered the scene and took Cena out with a Brogue Kick. After Sheamus left to the back, Batista grabbed Cena and threw him off of the entrance ramp. Batista stared at Cena as he layed motionless on the concrete floor.
[Commercial Break]
Christian and Evan Bourne def. Jack Swagger and Carlito
A solid opening contest here for the most part. Christian and Swagger both wanted to get their hands on each other after their brawl that occurred last week. Towards the end of his match, Swagger tagged in Carlito, took his Money In The Bank briefcase, and walked up the entrance ramp. This left Carlito in a handicap situation that he was unable to handle as Christian dropped him with The Killswitch followed by Airbourne from Evan.
A graphic was shown for tonight's main event - John Cena vs. Sheamus.
[Commercial Break]
Returning from the break, David Otunga was shown walking into the locker room of The Hart Dynasty and Bret Hart. Otunga asked them why they wanted to see him. Tyson Kidd said that they wanted a match with ShoMiz for the Unified Tag Team Championships tonight. Otunga told Kidd to calm down and not get excited because the show is already booked. Otunga said that what he can do though is give them a title shot at Extreme Rules on one condition. Bret asked what the condition was. Otunga said that The Miz and Big Show would be allowed to choose the stipulation. The Hart Dynasty and Bret thought about it for a few seconds before telling Otunga that they have a deal.
Eve def. Alicia Fox to become the #1 Contender to the Diva's Championship
A decent outing from two of Raw's divas here. The Diva's Champion Maryse was on commentary to observe her two possible opponents for her championship. Eve ascended to the top rope and came down with a Moonsault on Fox to pick up the victory.
After Eve and Maryse had a few words for each other, Jack Swagger was shown walking in his locker room when David Otunga walked in. Otunga told Swagger that he just spoke with Christian and Evan Bourne right now. Swagger asked Otunga why he would care to hear that. Otunga said it's because they were able to reach an agreement concerning his Money In The Bank briefcase. Swagger's eyes opened wide as he asked Otunga what the hell he meant about his briefcase. Otunga told Swagger that next week, Christian and Evan Bourne will face each other in a one on one match. The winner of that match will face Swagger at Extreme Rules in a Ladder Match for the Money In The Bank briefcase. Otunga left the room as Swagger threw his briefcase down in anger.
Randy Orton was shown making his way to the ring. His match with Ted DiBiase is next.
[Commercial Break]
Josh Mathews was shown standing outside of the Trainer's Room. Mathews said that Cena was currently inside the room getting medical attention and it is unclear whether or not he will compete tonight. Just after Josh said that, the door opened as Cena limped out. Mathews asked Cena what the doctor said. Cena told Mathews that it didn't matter to him what the doctor said. He has a match tonight and he will compete.
Ted DiBiase def. Randy Orton
A good first hour main event here with a lot on the line as the winner of this match would be allowed to choose the stipulation for the rematch at Extreme Rules. Towards the end, Orton repeatedly stomped on DiBiase, which forced the referee to pull Orton away. As the referee was doing this, Ted removed the turnbuckle covering from the top turnbuckle. When Orton charged at Ted, he moved out of the way and Orton hit his chest on the exposed turnbuckle. As Orton was gasping for air, Ted dropped him with Dream Street to get the victory.
The WWE Universe and the announcers could not believe what just transpired. Ted DiBiase defeated his former mentor. As Orton was getting to his feet, Ted grabbed a microphone and told Orton that he doesn't need any foreign objects to defeat him again, so their match at Extreme Rules won't have any of that garbage. However, the match will have a special guest referee. DiBiase told Orton that the referee for their match at Extreme Rules will be the man he punted in the head at Wrestlemania, Cody Rhodes.
Backstage, Big Show and The Miz were shown walking around backstage. Miz found a microphone on a table and grabbed it. He cut a quick promo, saying that they will defeat The Hart Dynasty at Extreme Rules and make Mr. McMahon proud. Miz finished his promo by telling Kidd and Smith to worry about what kind of match they will face off in.

David Otunga was shown in his office talking on the phone with Jennifer Hudson when Hornswoggle appeared, eating the 427 green M&M's. Otunga got off the phone and told Hornswoggle to get out of his office. Hornswoggle did so, but not without taking the bowl of M&M's with him. Otunga went after Hornswoggle.
The Hart Dynasty def. William Regal and Vladimir Kozlov
A good tag team match here. Regal and Kozlov put up a good fight against the #1 contenders, but fell flat in the end after Kidd and Smith hit the Hart Attack on Regal to get the win.
While Kidd and Smith were celebrating their win with Natalya and Bret, Big Show and The Miz ran down to the ring and attacked Kidd and Smith. After Kidd and Smith had been laid out, Miz looked under the ring and brought out a table. He positioned it in the middle of the ring and placed Smith on top of it. Show then proceeded to Chokeslam Kidd on top of Smith and the table. The Champions sent a clear message to the #1 Contenders for their Tables Match at Extreme Rules.
Backstage, Batista was shown looking for Sheamus. When he found the Celtic Warrior, he got in his face and asked him why he helped him earlier when he clearly didn't need it. Sheamus told Batista that he didn't help him, he was just returning the favor to Cena for his loss last week. Batista told Sheamus that from this point on, if he doesn't stay out of his business, then he will pay for it. Batista stormed out of the room as Sheamus looked on at him.

A promo was shown for this Friday's edition of Smackdown. The promo advertises the contract signing between Chris Jericho and Edge for their TLC Match at Extreme Rules for the World Heavyweight Championship.
Kofi Kingston def. Zack Ryder
A good match between two of Raw's rising stars. Ryder looked to have the match won after hitting Kingston with the Ruff Ryder Leg Lariat, but the Long Island Loudmouth decided to get in the faces of some of the members of the WWE Universe. Ryder covered Kingston following that, but only got a two count. Ryder brought Kingston back on his feet, but paid for it as Kingston rolled him up in a small package to get the win.
As Kofi made his way up the ramp with his arm raised in victory, Ryder threw a tantrum in the ring, kicking the ropes and tossing over the steel steps.
Sheamus was shown making his way to the ring. His match with John Cena is next.
[Commercial Break]
An advertisement was shown for Extreme Rules.
John Cena and Sheamus fought to a no contest
A solid main event here. Cena was still clearly not 100% after being thrown off the stage earlier by Batista, but the champ still gave this match his all. After Sheamus missed the Brogue Kick, Cena tripped and him and looked to lock him in the STF. Sheamus kicked Cena away from him, but Cena inadvertently knocked the referee out. Sheamus charged at Cena, but was lifted into position for the Attitude Adjustment.
Before Cena could drop Sheamus with the AA, Batista hit the ring. Cena let go of Sheamus and began brawling with 'The Animal'. The brawl between Cena and Batista spilled into the audience, giving the WWE Universe a preview of their Last Man Standing match at Extreme Rules. While this was taking place, Triple H hit the ring with a sledgehammer and laid out Sheamus. Triple H stood tall in the ring while Cena and Batista battled in the audience as Raw went off the air.

-Orton attacking Otunga to get what he wants is fine, something I'd picture of him. -Cena being thrown off the stage, a bit Extreme (no pun intended). -Christian and Evan Bourne have a more balanced team so it's a decent result. -Eve over Alicia Fox is fine either way, nothing much to care for. -Ted over Randy Orton was a shocker. But a rematch for Extreme Rules should be great. -The Hart Dynasty winning here is fine to keep building them for their tag push. -Kofi Kingston over Zack Ryder is fine I guess. Kofi's push has been solid so far. -Sheamus not winning shocked me since Cena got thrown off. The brawl to end the show is good. -Good show.

Card for Extreme Rules looks good so far, you built all the feuds up well, TLC Y2J/Edge should steal the show hopefully you put a big spot in there, LMS sounds good also hoping you don't go for the same route as WWE did, ShowMiz/Harts should be a fun match also I can see the Harts win the belts hopefully, the special guest referee should be a fun match and breaks up the gimmicky matches, I'm loving your putting the MITB on the line in a ladder match like Edge's first cash in, should be another great match, can't wait to see what you do for the other matches and what you do with NXT, hopefully you rehire Bryan in big fashion (if he gets fired like real life which he should as you mentioned at the top) good luck and keep this up.
