i heard mattel was doing away with the stands and name tags but opening some i relized the name tags on singles is on the side just cut them and use extra stands and they work good it only works with like basic or ppv sets not 2 packs

I don't see why they did away with the stand to begin with. It's not like they include any accessories with the figures. Now I can see if maybe the included something, Then yes. But really, It served no purpose. I refuse to pay for a stand, My figures will either stay MOC or just stand the old Jakks way, On their two feet! lol

That's the only thing I do not like about Mattel, their figures are more expensive yet do not come with any accessories.

I liked the stands, but I won't be paying extra for them.

Your solution only works for the figures that already came with stands and tags to begin with. Newer figures have different bubble inserts and the paper used for them is not cardboard.

I guess if you're desperate enough to keep the stands and tags going in your collection that works, but I personally think it looks like crap.
