Am I the only one that is having this problem or is it nation wide? I've gone to three different K-marts in the last week and all three of them are still full of the HOF series.
I am kinda suprised at this. I figured these would be somewhat rarer in the future when I picked them up back in late August. I guess I was wrong??

Mine still has a few but they really should have been re-paints. They would have been so much better.

I was having this problem for the last couple months..but went there yesterday and they were all gone except a couple HOF. Finally though they had elite 6! The Best of series really did clog the shelves around here for awhile until the sales hit.

It's not just Hall of Fame. Every store I go to, Legends 1 and 2 are clogging shelves.

My K-Mart has a ton of those and legends.
I don't think people want them!

my Kmart will probably have them for atleast another 6-8 months at this rate, they ordered about 20 cases it seems if not more and i'd say about 10-12 cases are left, its pretty ridiculous

Hall of Fame? Legends in General. They may be some people's favorite line, but they sell like crap(atleast here).

No my 2 area Kmarts had Series 1. 1 store had a couple Series 1 (Dusty & Sare) and the other store (westwood NJ) had at least 6 cases of Series 1 on the top shelf against the back wall last weekend.

I don't even think my Kmart got the HOF series, which is quite fortunate, since they have a lot of Legends 1 & 2 still. Although that doesn't touch the amount of overstock they have on Best of Elite in the garden center.

I think my Kmart had 1 or 2 only left. But i could be wrong and they were just regulars too.

Oddly enough my Kmart never got the HOF series in. I was grumpy about it at the time but it sounds like I should be pretty happy about it now. Perhaps they will get sent over to the clearance aisle after the holidays and make room for new stuff for you guys.

I'll tell you what the biggest problem is...
most people already have Jakks Classic figures of the Mattel Legends. Snuka, Funk, Dusty, Slaughter are not "popular" enough to the general wrestling population to fly off shelves at $14.99 plus tax. Add to that the overstocking of cases
Guys like Steve Austin, Ricky Steamboat, The Rock, Warrior...will sell no matter what because most casual wrestling fans remember them and want figures of them, and even those guys (except Steamboat) have had so many figures made already, it's just overkill. The accessories aren't enough.
The "collectors" make up a very small percentage of the total people that buy WWE figures & legends. Those HOF figures were pretty much useless to most, Same figure but a gold stand and a cheap little cardboard "plaque"
Little kid wants a wrestling figure, parent says you can choose 1.... Picks a Legends Steve Austin ($14.99) and a Basic John Cena ($9.99)
Parent takes Cena, kid is happy, parent saves $5.00
