A video of a bunch of WFWF guys doing wrestling moves, and of course close ups of EBR is shown. Wouldn't it be nice if we really had one of those?
Matthew Werner: ...Live! From Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada! Welcome to this edition of Haters Gonna Hate! I'm Matthew Werner, and my partner...
Matt Steel: I'm Matt Steel. However, you all already know that. I have my own DVD after all!
It's time for the show to really begin. Here comes the boom... (This will make sense later, promise.)
Pyro. Jazz hands for the excitement, ladies and gentlemen.
Matthew Werner: Tonight, we have a bit of a clusterf*ck of a National Championship contenders hunt, but hey. It means we'll have a National Championship match at the Pay-Per-View. That's good news. The tag team champions have a match too tonight. That's great news.
Matt Steel: And tonight, we have a video package of Stacy Grey with the WFWF legend ZMaster.
Matthew Werner: He'll presumably talk about his surprise return and impromtu attack on fan favorite Shawn Malakai last week, who just so happens to be facing Jason Jadoa and Braden Munroe...again.
Matt Steel: It's going to be an exciting night! But first, we're going to take you backstage where we have Stacy Grey. Take it away, Stacy!
Stacy Grey: Thank you, Matt. Tonight, there will be a tag team bout for a chance to fight for the National title held by Valorie Evans. At this time, I would like to introduce you to one of the men in that bout. Lightning.
Lightning shows up near Stacy Grey.
Stacy Grey: Tonight you and your team mate Johnny Albright have a chance at a singles title. What are your thoughts?
Lightning: Well, honestly....I can't wait. I can not wait to show those little inconsiderate jackasses who's boss. I've been in the ring with both and know just about everything they can do, and I know I can do everything that they can't. That's beside the point though, because all I truly care about is getting the chance to get the title's prestige back from a woman. A woman who, I'll admit has knocked me off my block a couple of times with low blows and cheap eliminations and such, but that's not it. Those times she's knocked me off, it's been done in an unfair way. She can't beat me legit with a pinfall.
A voice interrupts Lightning in mid sentence.
??: Well, excuse me a**hole. I'd like to inform you that you have a score that's not yet settled.
Lightning's face is in complete shock.
Lightning: Really? With who?
The man walks into the camera shot to reveal himself as Alex Deathstar.
Alex Deathstar: With me, bitch.
Stacy Grey: Alex, where have you been?
Alex Deathstar: I've been at home training and watching WFWF. But after the comments this ignorant assclown made, I renewed my contract and came back to put the " Hardcore Horsemen" on notice.
Lightning: You know something, Alex? You were a toy. A toy that was on the shelf in a toy store. You sat by on the shelf while one of your other little toy friends moved their way up, it moved onto greatness. And what happened to you? You started to gather dust. I felt sorry for you and helped you to attain fame. But once you started to soar to the heavens, I was beginning to get classified as the proverbial third wheel in the HeadCrusher wagon. So I decided it was my time to shine. So, I didn't help you until you desperately needed it. But when you needed it the most, I left you in a ditch. So you want a fight with me. You got it. But not this week. Or when I win the title.
Lightning starts to leave. He stops.
Lightning: But you'll deal with me and Albright.
Alex Deathstar: Not a problem.
Stacy Grey: Who would have thought that Alex Deathstar would return.
Alex Deathstar/Chris Chaos: Stacy, I'm not Alex Deathstar anymore, the name is Chris Chaos.
We're cut back to Werner and Steel.
Matthew Werner: Insightful!
Matt Steel: Indeed.
Matthew Werner: And now, it's time for the first match of the night. Two guys debuting, one returning and one guy who...well...we're not sure if he's really here anymore. The winner advances into a triple threat match next week for the number one contendership for the WFWF National Championship.
Ace Bennett and Jack Joseph make quick work of Boo Kona and Luke Collins. The two men then go at it with a series of punches and kicks. Joseph, impressive, drops Bennett with a nice suplex combination. Bennett later retalliates with a nice knee lift neck breaker combination. Joseph is put into a headlock, but he is able to kip out and take Bennett down. Joseph then ascends the turnbuckle to wait for The Flying Saint, but when his back's turned, Bennett gets to his feet and drops Joseph with the Syracuse Drop for the win!
Matthew Werner: Nice win there by Ace Bennett. He advances to the number one contenders match week.
Matt Steel: Glad to have him back. Here's hoping he doesn't disappear again. That'll make everyone sad pandas. I mean...
“Can't Be Touched” by Roy Jones Jr. resonates through the arena as visions of gold flood the titantron, and dark strobe lights attack the space in the arena with force. The chorus picks up, and from behind the curtain comes the two time WFWF National Champion, Jon O'Deeves. The crowd boos. So does Matt Steel. Hey, he was rudely interrupted.
Matthew Werner: O'Deeves is back. Niiice.
Matt Steel: Yeah! The last time we saw him, he lost his title to a girl and was sent away by ambulance by Braden Munroe. And Tabitha Owens. Man has women problems.
Matthew Werner: It would seem.
O'Deeves rolls into the ring and raises his arms in some kind of victory. His face is still a bit messed up from the attack a few weeks ago, but he looks to be in good shape. He signals the techy for a microphone, which is given to him. The crowd boos him even more violently.
Jon O'Deeves: It's so good to see you guys too!
The crowd grows practically rabid with their displeasure of O'Deeves.
Jon O'Deeves: I have to apologize. The last time you saw me, I was having an off day. I was worried about my back the entire day leading up to my match at Consequences. R.I.P. You see, it was well known at that point that Braden Munroe was going around attacking the best of the best. Taking out his competition. He had beaten down Cameron Stone a few shows before, and Trace Demon later in the night. I was reasonably worried. As the greatest WFWF National Champion in WFWF history, I had to watch my back. Make sure those thugs didn't get me yo.
The crowd just keeps booing. It's hard to hear him.
Jon O'Deeves: But alas, they got me at my weakest point. You see, I was distracted in my match because of the Munroe thing, so I was caught off guard by Valorie Evans. I was cheated. Then, go figure, I went backstage and was attacked by a gang of wild animals.
The crowd cheers, right around the time he says he was attacked.
Matt Steel: He knows it was just two people, and one of them's a woman. Right?
Matthew Werner: The world may never know.
Jon O'Deeves: Needless to say, it's been a rough while. But in my time off, I took the time to sharpen and hone my skills. I'm back, stronger and better than ever. And when Kraig called me up, asking me if I was ready to go...well...you bet I was. I was pumped to come back and reclaim what is rightfully mine. And I missed all of you lovely fans.
Boooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. That about sums it up.
Jon O'Deeves: I'm putting the locker room on notice. I'm back, and this time, the boom isn't just coming. It's exploding. And with that, I will become the champion once more.
“Can't Be Touched” begins to play again as O'Deeves leaves the ring and walks to the back, the fans booing and turning their backs on him.
Commercial break.

And we're back.
Matthew Werner: Welcome back. Now, here's that promo with ZMaster. It wasn't forgotten. Promise.
Stacy Grey: First off, welcome ZMaster. It's an honor to be interviewing you for the first time.
ZMaster: Thanks for having me. I suppose we should get down to business.
Stacy Grey: Yeah. Now...what about that business last week, with you attacking Shawn Malakai? Both he and Wayne McGurk were welcoming you into the ring with open arms and you attacked them, Malakai receiving the brunt of it. Why?
ZMaster: I never do anything without a reason. It is simply to make the impact that I have returned. Call it being at the wrong place at the wrong. I'm observing WFWF and I'm not liking what I see. Competition has become weak-minded with lack of incentive. Call it a shot in the arm or call me crazy. Malakai is the one I want because of the symbol of what WFWF is and where it might be going and it doesn't look pretty.
Stacy Grey: But Malakai's made it a point as of late to say he wants to change the WFWF for the better. To return it to its great days, he says. How is that a bad thing?
ZMaster: He isn't completely wrong but going about it in a different manner. Talking about change is one thing, doing it is another.
Stacy Grey: How do you plan on 'doing it?'
ZMaster: My actions will show what I have planned in due time. It will be about resetting the WFWF. This place needs to be reset before it gets to the point of no return. How you might ask? Just keep watching is all I can give.
Stacy Grey: And how does Vanessa McGurk play into all of this?
ZMaster: Someone who sees what I am doing and believes in the cause. Nothing more, nothing less.
Stacy Grey: And Wayne McGurk? Why target him along side Malakai? The two really have no major connection.
ZMaster: Casualties is all I can say. McGurk & Malakai were just at the wrong place at the wrong time. I'm sure Malakai will want to fight and he'll get it when the time comes.
Stacy Grey: I highly doubt that Wayne was just a casualty. He's the WFWF Champion. There had to be some kind of motive, right?
ZMaster: Now that you mention it, why isn't he carrying his belt and doing something about it? McGurk is supposed to be the face of the WFWF and hasn't been holding his championship now has he? I see it as a disgrace to not take back what was stolen. Had that been me, I would have done something about it like take it back with force. The one who tries to steal from me would be beaten. It never happened but still.
Stacy Grey: But there were...extenuating circumstances beyond Wayne's control though. Surely you understand that, right?
ZMaster: Perhaps but still it's all about principal. If he's going to be champion, he must obtain it right back. Nothing like this should ever happen.
Stacy Grey: Well do you see yourself stepping into that ring one more time?
ZMaster: It's bound to happen. No matter how many times I think I'm done, somehow, someway I'm back in a ring.
Stacy Grey: And what about that gold that Wayne has. Well...figuratively, anyways. Can you see yourself going to the top of the mountain one last time?
ZMaster: To become a two-time WFWF Champion would be something. It is a thought that had not crossed my mind. Never say never on that. I promise this, should I ever hold it one more time, you're going to know that I deserve it and will be competing and being involved showing others what they must do to reach that point.
Stacy Grey: Do you think you could do better than Wayne McGurk or Alex Sean as this companies biggest representative?
ZMaster: Could I do better? Yeah, I'll keep the belt and make others try to take it from me by actually beating me. It would show others how to be a World Champion and how only the elite can make it. Unlike Alex, I never sit around and do nothing. Unlike Wayne, I won't let anyone take it. The only way is to beat me and that's it.
Stacy Grey: You do know you'll face adversity, right? Alex and Wayne are just the beginning. There's Thunder, Braden Munroe and most interestingly to your case, Shawn Malakai who will surely stand in your way. Thoughts?
ZMaster: It's no different than what I've dealt with before except for the names.
Stacy Grey: If I didn't know any better, one could assume you were underestimating these men.
ZMaster: Not exactly. I know the challenge of each of them. All I'm saying is I've dealt with adversity and it will be no different. This isn't underestimating, it's knowing full well that it won't be easy.
Stacy Grey: In closing, what's the one thing you plan on accomplishing during your time here in the WFWF?
ZMaster: Just one thing? For one, showing I have something left despite being away. Another would be to return WFWF to where there is a motivation to be the best.
Stacy Grey: And of your impending conflict with Shawn Malakai?
ZMaster: To defeat him when it counts the most. I realize he will be wanting to fight me and he must know that I will accept his fight when the time comes.
Stacy Grey: This has been very informative. Thank you for your time, ZMaster. And welcome back.
ZMaster: No problem. Thanks for the welcome back.
We cut back to the commentators.
Matthew Werner:This next match is kind of important. The winning team will join Ace Bennett in next weeks number one contenders match for the WFWF National Championship.
Albright and Cage start out the match. Albright with the size advantage makes quick work of Cage, tossing him around like a rag doll. Albright tags in Lightning who works on Cage for a bit. Desperate after a series of hard kicks, Cage makes the tag to his partner Chris Jackal, who enters the ring and totally destroys Lightning, dropping him hard with a nasty shoulder shot right to his chest. Cage distracts Johnny Albright while Jackal proceeds to hit Lightning with the Shooting Star Press for the win.
Matthew Werner: Lawrence Cage and Chris Jackal advance to next weeks contenders match! Awesome! Johnny Albright didn't look happy though, being distracted like that, I'm not going to lie.
We cut to the backstage area where Stacy Grey is standing by with Gladiator.
Stacy Grey: Hey guys, it’s Stacy Grey here with Gladiator! Gladiator, welcome back to the WFWF. First off...
The whole shot cuts out, cutting to black and white static. The shot comes back, but it’s scrambled. A series of ones and zeroes fills the screen. The scene comes back, not on Stacy Grey, but a much darker scene, both figuratively and literally. From the once high definition cameras and bright lights of the high budget WFWF to an apparent handheld SVHS shaking in a dark night, the show has apparently been high jacked. The subject at hand, doubling as the camera man apparently, has a black hoody on, covering most of his aspect range which begs the question why he didn’t just hack the show with an audio tape.
??: Every good book has three parts. A beginning, a middle, and an end. Some of the greatest stories in the world took years to finish. Short bursts of creativity here and there allow for progress, but when road blocks approach, the greatest writers fumble and fade to obscurity. Thus the case with me. Faded and forgotten, with scars to match. Twisted and sick and bad for the business.. They said I was out to destroy the business. Why would I wanna destroy something that I helped build? That was never my intention, my intentions were good.. But while I sit at home, laid off, I realize this is what I know, this is what I do best. While I can do other things, this is my niche. This is where I belong. This is my home.
The subject whips back the hoody to reveal a familiar face, albeit older and with much more hair than previously recalled. And a beard. Everyone should have a beard when they return from exiles. It’s the newest induction into the WFWF Hall of Fame. No, not Tha CBT. He’s dead. May he rest in peace. Holding the handled camera is the one and only King of Gore, Your Heretic Hero, Phillip Schneider.
P/S: Consider this chapter two.
Matthew Werner: Holy sh*t.
The crowd has gone absolutely still, still staring at the titantron, which is now nothing but white noise as tech tries to regroup. We cut back to Werner and Steel, jaws wide open.
Matt Steel: Sh*t just got real, yo.
Matthew Werner: For real. I mean...it's been years since we've seen him. He's a former WFWF Champion...but it's been years...
Matt Steel: Phillip Schneider...Obo. Oh man...this is gonna be good.
Matthew Werner: That it will. And now, it's time for the Champions to be in action.
Despite an admirable effort, AJ King’s and Austin Anderson’s debuts were spoiled by the increasingly dominant team of DGX and EBR and their combination of experience and skill. While at one point it appeared that the two newcomers were on their way to building momentum after Austin Anderson connected with the Niagara Driver, their advantage was short lived after DGX cleaned Anderson out with the Breakdown and EBR was able to pin AJ King after the Folding Power-Bomb for the win. Throughout and especially after the match Matthew Werner and Matt Steel continued to question just who in the almost non-existent Tag Team division would be able to challenge EBR and DGX for their Tag Team titles, which continues to just be foreshadowing quite frankly. Matthew Werner: Nice, easy win there for the champs. Matt Steel: XWA representin'. As Keri Thames steps into the ring to begin the announcements for the next match, the lights on the stage cut off and the opening acapella of "99 Problems" by Jay Z rings through the PA."If you havin' girl problems I feel bad for you son, I got 99 problems but a b*tch ain't one."Just as the second barre concludes, a record scratch cuts in and right as the verse begins Alex Sean shoves the curtains open and steps out on the stage to a thunderous ovation from the crowd!Matthew Werner: Well this is unexpected. While Sean acknowledges the audience with a grin, he makes quick strides down the ramp and to the ringside area. He turns left and makes his way up the ring steps. Sean pauses for a moment to look out at the audience, then steps through the middle and top rope and into the ring. Sean quickly approaches the broadcast side and gestures for a microphone. After a few seconds, Keri Thames reaches out to Sean and hands him a mic., much to the appreciation of the crowd.Matt Steel: I wonder what Sean has to say after what took place at our last event. Specifically, I wonder about the situation between him and Jason Jadoa. Alex Sean moves to the center of the ring and raises his hand to the audience signalling that he is about to speak. As the fans in attendance begin to settle, Sean has a quick laugh to himself, then begins to speak.Alex Sean: I'm sure most of you are aware that the past few months have been a little stressful for me. Personally I'm sure a lot of you know what's going on, professionally... I mean, I got jobs in three different companies and each one of them is giving me problems. But the thing is, I can accept all of that. I can accept losing my title to Wayne McGurk and I can even accept King Kraig having his problems with me... But what I won't accept, are guys who run out and cost me matches. Sean pauses for a moment, then begins addressing Jason Jadoa directly.Alex Sean: Shadow, if you got a problem with me, that's fine. If you don't like me, good, cos to tell you the truth I don't really like you either. And hell, if you wanna jump me after the match to make some kind of statement, then do it. But you picked the wrong time to cross me, Shadow. You cost me a shot at that title and I guarantee that you're gonna live to regret it. So Shadow if you got a problem with me, I got a problem with you. Come out here and let's do this. The audience cheers at the challenge.Matthew Werner: This could get out of control pretty fast, Matt. After a few moments, "The World is Yours" by Nas plays through the speakers, generating a collective groan from the audience and Alex Sean alike. The WFWF President King Kraig steps from behind the curtain, a microphone in hand, and gestures for the crowd to quiet down. He turns his attention to Alex Sean and cracks a sly grin, then begins to speak.King Kraig: Hello Alex Sean. Alex Sean: Sup? King Kraig: Well, I'm wondering what exactly you're doing out here. Alex Sean: To tell you the truth I thought it was pretty cut and dry. King Kraig: I see. And, let me ask you this; When exactly did you start believing that you had the power to decide when and where talent on my roster is to compete? Alex Sean: Look, if you wanna put me and the Reverend in a match, I'm all for it. But I'm not calling him out for a wrestling match, so if you don't mind... Surprisingly, Kraig begins to cackle to himself, then continues to speak.King Kraig: You know Alex Sean, I used to respect you. I truly believed that you were one of the best competitors in the world. And now here you are, first you lose the title, then you lose to Thunder, and now you're standing in the ring blaming other people for your own shortcomings and challenging them to petty fights. I used to think you were among the best of all time, and now... I probably wouldn't even put you in my top five if I'm being honest. It's about this moment that Sean shifts his focus to the crowd, giving an expression somewhere along the lines of "Can you f*cking believe this guy?".King Kraig: But as far as your issue here with Jason Jadoa, if you value your job you'll do the right thing, if I can put it as simply as possible. Sean smirks, clearly getting a rise out of Kraig's threats.Alex Sean: I'll be real with you Kraig; I don't have a title and I don't have a title shot. So as far as I'm concerned, if I'm to pick between staying in this company and dealing with your nonsense or giving the Reverend what he's got coming, I think I'm a go with the preacher man. The crowd erupts, yay!King Kraig: I see... Well, I suppose then I'm going to have to offer you some incentive, aren't I? His interest piqued, Sean folds his arms and allows Kraig to continue.King Kraig: Alex Sean I'm going to offer you one more chance to get a shot at the WFWF Title. On our next event, you will square off against Trace Demon, the man you beat for the WFWF Championship at SuperBrawl, and like I said if you beat him, you get a shot at the title. Of course there is one condition, Alex Sean, and that is if you lay a finger on Jason Jadoa at any point with the intent to harm between now and, in the event you defeat Trace Demon, you claim your title shot, not only will you not be receiving your shot, but you'll probably never step foot in a WFWF ring again. The crowd oohs.King Kraig: And do you know why, Alex Sean, that I am willing to offer you this match? Alex Sean: Not really. King Kraig: Because unlike you, Jason Jadoa is a truly viable commodity here in the WFWF which of course brings me to announce that at our next Pay-Per-View event, Reverend Shadow will reform the Higher Authority with CBT to take on the WFWF Tag Team Champions EBR and DGX! The crowd erupts at this announcement.King Kraig: But, since we're in the spirit of Raising air quotes. "being real" here, I've got one other reason for it. I said before that I didn't think you were a top competitor anymore and when you face Trace Demon, you'll be exposed for what you are in front of the entire world. You could have played ball, you could have respected my authority and I would have protected you as you moved past your prime and down the card. But you had to challenge me at every turn and for that, you aren't going to go out as a legend. No I believe that, after Trace Demon beats you, your pride will be shattered so completely, that you never step foot in a WFWF ring again. Let's be honest, that wasn't a very nice collection of things to say and the audience agrees. After a few moments of appropriate booing, Sean looks up at Kraig.Alex Sean: So aside from protecting Reverend Shadow, you're essentially doing this just to bury me? King Kraig: Consider it as the WFWF is moving into a new era. Talent like Jason Jadoa, they're part of the future. But you, Alex Sean, you are a thing of the past. But it's your choice. You can stand in this ring and call Jason Jadoa out until you're blue in the face and he might just come out here. Or, you could even run out during the main event and attack him there but if you do that, Alex Sean, you get nothing. No title match, no TV time, no big pay-days, it's all over for you. Either way, Alex Sean, King Kraig wins in the end. And with that, "The World is Yours" plays over the speakers and King Kraig makes his exit behind the curtain. As Sean stands in the ring, we cut to Matthew Werner and Matt Steel at ringside.Matthew Werner: This situation continues to escalate each week. Matt Steel: Forget that, how about what we just heard? Higher Authority vs. DGX and EBR!? That's huge, Werner. Matthew Werner: Yeah! Commercial break, yo. Stay tuned.

...and we're back!
Matthew Werner: And we're back ladies and gentlemen!
I just say that you tool...
Matthew Werner: It’s time for our third WFWF Hall of Fame inductee announcement.
Matt Steel: Let’s get some “revealing inductee music” going.
Matt Steel: Alright.
Matthew Werner: As you can see, I hold this very special envelope in my hand.
The camera zooms in on his hand revealing an envelope with the word “confidential” on it. Matt Steel: Seems excessive. Matthew Werner: So I think the big question is ... are you ready? Matt Steel: I sure am, Matthew Werner! Matthew Werner: Well then ... here ... we ... go ... damn I don’t have a letter opener. Matt Steel: That’s okay take mine. Matthew Werner: Thanks bro. Opening And being inducted into the WFWF Hall of Fame for the year 2010 ... takes out ... did not pace this well ... reads D-G-X! The crowd goes bonkers. Matt Steel: Yes! XWA! Take that, Ray Smith! Matthew Werner: DGX is a former Heavyweight Champion and multiple time Tag Team Champion. Matt Steel: In cased you missed him earlier. Matthew Werner: He may also have won some other belt along the way. I dunno I didn’t feel like checking his bio. But most remarkable is how successful he’s been in a short period of time compared to others. Matt Steel: He’s our Gale Sayers. Matthew Werner: Hold on, I’m just getting word we have an official statement from DGX. DGX, are you there? DGX: Yes. Matthew Werner: DGX, how does it feel to be inducted into the WFWF Hall of Fame? Matthew Werner: Well there you have it. DGX; Hall of Famer. We tip our hat to him. “Awake and Alive” by Skillet fills the arena, much to the confusion of the fans, announcers, ring crew, and…well…everyone. The curtains part, and a man with short, brownish blonde hair, thick beard, and aviator sunglasses steps through them. Matthew Werner: What is this all about? Who is that? Matt Steel: Since when do we randomly let hobos come down the entrance ramp? Matthew Werner: Gosh I miss Percy. Reaching to his face, the man removes his sunglasses, placing them into the pocket of the jacket he is wearing. As the camera comes closer, the identity of the man becomes clearer.Matthew Werner: Is that…Is that Aaron Ashton?! Matt Steel: Who? Matthew Werner: Aaron Ashton. Former WFWF Tag Team Champion. Leader of the Revelation faction. Matt Steel: Never heard of him. Aaron Ashton makes his way down the ramp, looking out across the crowd as if he’s looking at someone he hasn’t seen in a lifetime. He has a sparkle in his eye as he reaches the ring, grabbing the middle rope, and pulling himself onto the apron. Ducking down, he steps between the top and middle rope, righting himself in the ring. Aaron walks to the other side of the ring, asking for a microphone. The ring announcer moves forward, offering him one. Aaron takes it, walking back to the middle of the ring. The music fades as he raises the microphone to speak.Aaron Ashton: Man, has it been a while. He pauses, and gets a decent reaction from the crowd. Seeming pleased, he continues.Aaron Ashton: Now, some of you may not know me, but my name is Aaron Ashton. I was here for a while…then I was gone for a bit…then I was back, with a group. We called ourselves Revelation, and we were going to ‘save the wicked in the WFWF’. Aaron rolls his eyes, and chuckles a bit. The crowd seems silent, but attentive, so he goes on.Aaron Ashton: Then, one day…I stopped showing up. I stopped caring. The matches I was booked in didn’t seem worth my time. The friends I had here didn’t seem worth it, and I just stopped. Technically, I was fired for not showing up, but I had checked out long before it got to that point. I was on a slippery slope, and I didn’t care. I also didn’t care who I took down with me. He pauses, looking out across the crowd. He sees more than a few confused looks, so he decides that he needs to get to the point.Aaron Ashton: See, I just stopped caring about the B.S. here, but I never gave up my love for this business, and this company. And that’s why I am back. I’m not back to save more sinners. I’m not back to help rid the world of evil. I’m back for one reason, and one reason only: to come out here, and compete in front of you fans, do what I love to do, and do it for the right reason…because I WANT to. The crowd rises a bit, giving a big cheer. Smiling, he heads for home.Aaron Ashton: So, I look forward to coming out here, and competing again. I hope that you’ll accept me back, and welcome me with open arms. Thanks! Aaron drops the microphone as “Awake and Alive” starts again. The crowd gives another big cheer as Ashton heads out of the ring, slapping a few hands along the way to the back.Matthew Werner: A truly heartfelt statement there from the returning Aaron Ashton! Matt Steel: Yawn. Matthew Werner: Would it kill you to be nice just once?! Matt Steel: …it might. Matthew Werner: Well, here's hoping then. Matt Steel: Well that's not very nice at all. Matthew Werner: I'm ignoring you. Anyways, Ashton is out of the ring and it's now time for the Champion versus Champion match. Valorie Evans is one of the biggest up and comers we've had in a long time, having recently won the WFWF National Championship from Jon O'Deeves a few weeks ago. And Wayne McGurk...well...he's Wayne McGurk. Here we go! Wayne McGurk stands across from Valorie Evans, hands on his hips, a look of trepidation on his face. Evans steps up, daring him to hit her. McGurk shakes his head, taking a step back, refusing to hit a woman. Evans steps up to him again, shoving him. Wayne looks toward the sky, his rage building, then simmering. He shakes his head again, taking a step back again, putting his hands up. Valerie steps forward again, shoving him harder. He stumbles slightly, his face twisting in rage. He turns to Evans, and yells "I DON'T WANT TO DO THIS!", having finally reached a near breaking point. Evans reaches up, slapping him hard across the face. McGurk fails to do anything. Valorie slaps him again and attempts to coil herself for the Christo, but Wayne snaps. As she sets up, he finally hauls off and decks her in the face as hard as he can. She crumples to the mat, even a man bigger than Wayne would have been out at that point. McGurk immediately looks disappointed in himself. He drops across her body, pinning her for the win.Wayne reluctantly raises his arm in victory. The crowd cheers though as Tabitha Owens comes out from the crowd and gets herself into the ring, standing the still outed Valorie Evans. She smiles and bends down, giving Evans a play slap in the face. Tabitha then rolls out of the ring and grabs Evans' title from Keri Thames' hands and takes off up the ramp and back behind the curtain. Evans comes to her senses and rolls out of the ring. When she gets to Keri and Keri tells her what happens, she lets out a shriek. Something about that b*tch stealing her man. She makes her way up the ramp, holding her jaw in her hand.Matt Steel: Uhh...what just happened? And what's this about Tabitha stealing Valorie's man? Matthew Werner: I have no clue. And I'm the smart one. All I gathered from all of that was this. Evans was slapped, well...punched out, then she was slapped, and finally her belt, or apparently her man, was stolen by the newly nicknamed 'bitch.' Sounds complicated. Matt Steel: Sounds like the situation with the WFWF Championship, except Thunder's the woman in this case. ZING~!Matt Steel: And now, the main event we've all been waiting for. Shawn Malakai is getting yet another shot at the number one contender Braden Munroe. We heard that earlier, the two had a minor confrontation backstage that ended in Munroe storming off. Throw in one pissed off Jadoa and a pretty good conditioned Trace Demon and we've got ourselves a respectable main event. In the ring, Jason Jadoa and Shawn Malakai start it out. Malakai has a size advantage, but Jadoa's wits get him out of any potential harm and in doing so, he deploys hit and run tactics, taking out the legs and thighs of the big man. Jadoa drops Malakai with a sickly DDT and brings in Munroe, who is licking his chops...wanting to finally get Malakai out of his way. It fails though. Malakai brings Munroe up and over, dropping him on his spine. Demon tags himself in and savagely beats the face of Braden Munroe in until the ref breaks it up. Demon charges the corner and eliminates Jadoa from the equation. Big mistake turning his back on Munroe. Munroe knocks Malakai off the apron with a spinning backfist and drops Demon with the Super Spinning Cyclone Strike for the win.Munroe raises his arms in victory and Jadoa climbs back into the ring to do the same when out of no where comes Malakai with a stiff clothesline. The two men scuffle and roll out of the ring, exchanging punches. Malakai tries to steal the glove off of Munroe's hand as the fast man jumps the barricade, Malakai following behind. As the situation at ringside continues to spin out of control, Jason Jadoa turns his focus toward it, watching curiously from inside the ring. Just as he focuses on the brawl and his back is turned, the audience begins to stir on the other side of the arena. We search for the source of it just in time to notice Alex Sean rushing toward the barricade from Section D.Matt Steel: Those Section D guys are scrubs. Seriously what are they paying these people? Matthew Werner: This could get ugly fast, Matt. Sean reaches ringside and hops the barricade. He immediately slides under the bottom rope and stares up at Jason Jadoa, who somehow catches Sean in his peripherals. He turns to face the former WFWF Champion just in time for him to stand to his feet. They meet face to face in the ring locked in a stare down as the audience buzzes in anticipation.Matt Steel: I think we're about to see some sh*t go down, Matthew Werner. Matthew Werner: But if Sean attacks Jason Jadoa, he'll lose his chance at a title shot. Matt Steel: Some things are bigger than titles, Matthew Werner. It's about this moment that we notice Trace Demon, who has recovered enough to prop himself up in the far right corner. Seemingly out of sight of Sean and Jadoa, Trace pulls himself up to his feet facing the corner.Matthew Werner: Hey look, it's Trace Demon. Alex Sean cracks a sly smirk then, as Trace steps away from the corner and turns toward the center of the ring, Sean steps off to his right, turning in motion and blasts Trace Demon with a Left Arm Lariat sending him hard back to the canvas. Sean turns to face Jason Jadoa and the two lock eyes again.Matthew Werner: Again with the post-match attacking of Trace? Sheesh. Matt Steel: This is getting pretty wild, man. Matthew Werner: Trace Demon, I'm sure, isn't going to appreciate this when he wakes up. Matt Steel: No, I can't imagine he will. You gotta wonder; What is going to happen when Alex Sean and Trace Demon meet again on our next show? Matthew Werner: If this situation with Jason Jadoa continues to escalate, anything can happen. With that, we begin to fade to black on a shot of Jason Jadoa and Alex Sean locked in a stare down as the WFWF logo flashes and the screen fades, signaling the end of the show.

Awesome show. Great that I won and get to move on, Jack was a great opponent though. I'm gonna start getting into the storylines more now that I'm back, but the Alex Sean situation is very interesting as is the whole Valorie/Tabitha thing going on. Congrats to the winners.
Its also awesome to see the returns of Deathstar, O'Deeves, and Ashton. Glad to have you all back.

Darn. I wished Valorie did something more than just slap. In fact, I'm not really satisfied with how the character was portrayed in that match. It's bothering me, I'm sorry, but I don't know. It felt with how Mike and I's promos were written we deserved something a little more. "Slap" isn't even listed as a move in my character's moveset. I would have preferred if she threw some elbows, or punched. Slapping just felt gender-driven. Bleh. Still a fun show nonetheless.

I think it's time we retire the "Matt Steel DVD" joke. That's kinda gotten ran into the ground.

I was asked simply to make it seem like Wayne didn't want to do it, but finally knocked her out. I certainly apologize for any offense.

While the show is titled "Haters Gonna Hate", and as much as I enjoy tongue in cheek satire, I didn't expect the name to come back on me so abruptly, in such a straight forward way, especially from someone I can't identify in a line up. From Yukio? Perhaps. Reverend Shadow? Absolutely. But you sir were an unknown. I congratulate you for slipping under my radar. I skimme for the most part and primarily only paid attention to my segment, which is all that's really expected out of the majority? right? I do like how a few angles are progressing and this ownership seems to have that certain flare that a few previous lacked. Namely Yukio's, man that sucked, Not naming names, but Yukio's a few were a real drag. A toast to 2011, for new beginnings and a bright future to the WFWF

Ah well, I got beat.
Fun show, though. Looking forward to my next match. AJ King won't be knocked down so easily.

The ZMaster promo at the beginning of the second post was there when you all read it. You know it was. I didn't forget it. What's with the third degree? SHEESH!
Seriously, I just edited it in. My mistake on forgetting that.

EDIT: Ohhh, I see after looking at the card. Its not that I have anything against you, its just I'm not familiar with anything you have done. And to be completely honest, that segment confused me a little bit, as stupid as that sounds. Its cool to have another RPer return for sure, especially one who has had a championship run. My apologies for not mentioning you.

My apologies for not mentioning you. Prior to last week when I started work on my roleplay for the James Brown Christmas Special, it had been just short of three years since I had written anything. 34 months, to be exact. Without tooting my own horn, as much as I like to, I haven't just had a championship run. I've held every championship. Except the National. I was a tag team wrestler for the first year or two of my roleplay career, and by the time I went singles, I was already so well past the criteria of the National title, that it wouldn't have been fair for me to challenge for it. I did try to talk my way into a shot at the WFWF Megalicious championship, but it never came to be for one reason or another. Refer to my bio for further reading material. I'm kinda a big deal.
