I'm a little surprised that we get Heath Slater before Wade Barrett, but I`m thinking that if he is coming with Christian it's probably a NXT figure and not a Nexus version, since Christian was his pro. I think the only difference will probably be the lack of an armband with a big N on it. I would have loved a Daniel Bryan and Miz two pack or a Jericho and Wade Barrett pack.
My thinking is that I might hold off on getting it (since I only like to get one figure per WWE Persona unless it's a character I absolutely love like HBK or Bret Hart) as there probably will be a second two pack of Heath Slater down the line with Justin Gabriel.

Yeah i agree pairing them up with their pro is a smart idea. Most heels don't sell let alone a pack with all heels. I think having them with a face will help them sell too. I would even like to see Barret with Cena so it moves off shelves.

Could be, but I'm curious to see if heath will sport the Nexus arm band or not. Any word on this?

Selling Slater without any sign of Nexus on him is stupid to even HAVE a Heath Slater..

Selling Slater without any sign of Nexus on him is stupid to even HAVE a Heath Slater.. Not necessarily. The pack is based off NXT, which was before they became collectively known as Nexus. So, releasing a Slater from before Nexus was even around with a 'N' Armband on should be considered more stupid to release than say putting a Nexus version out now because that's what he's currently in. I'm hoping it isn't a Nexus Slater as I will buy the 2-Pack for a NXT version of Slater & hopefully Christian has a Closed Mouth / Straight Faced Head Scan. Then when Mattel gives us a Nexus Slater, I'll still buy that anyways. Smart business & stratergy on Mattel's part on getting money out of its customers.

i don't really know why, but at least we're getting one....on a side note, Heath Slater has the highest ranking in the PWI 500 this year among Nexus

Agreed. I have a feeling that they felt Heath would be more marketable hence his him being first to be released. Sometimes the forecasted popular picks are wrong...this is one of those occasions. Wade is easily the best standout entertainer amongst the group.

I think that, because Basic 9 is set for a January release, Basic 10 will be out before these 2packs hit stores. From the rumored lineups, Barrett was scheduled for Basic 10, so we may in fact get him before Slater.

I am going to be thoroughly disappointed if the nexus releases don't have nexus attire...Mattel has -so- much time to get accurate attire it'd be a shame to waste figures. I also think it's good to release the less popular nexus members first as if they released them 2nd in line or 3rd they may not sell as well.

When you think of them two, you think of NXT Pro and Rookie so them based on what they wore on NXT is fine with me.
Dont remember Slater and Christian been involved with each other after NXT ended and Slater became apart of Nexus, so him having the Nexus armband would be a surprise.
