I believe this was the same interview where Angle talked about Jericho "wanting" to come to TNA. So yeah.

It seems he has strayed away from wrestling for so long now, even getting rid of his 'The Rock' name.
He has strayed so far off, and honestly, he wouldn't fit in with this 'new' group of wrestlers. No one could keep up with The Rock in terms of mic timing and jokes.

The Miz might be able to keep up. Or at least, thats what I think. But either way, there is no way Rock ever wrestles again.

Seems old....i don't remember The Rock ever caring about returning to his wrestling fans in person even once or caring about returning to the place that made him!

I'm fine with The Rock not coming back. I wanted, and I think I'm not the only one, to see Michaels vs The Rock, but not HBK is retired. I can say I respect the guy, and well, he doesn't want to be that much in wrestling anymore. I used to talk about him saying he loved the business but never came back, but with his appearance back at SmackDown! X, he showed he might still have a small part for us, and cares, even if it is just a little.

Most of the new generation only know who Rock is by name, and not experience. It's not liek they'd mark out by his appearence. Don't get me wrong, he's an icon for sure, but even back at WMXX, the crowd was noticably apathetic when it came to Rock being there. I mean they cheered, but it wasn't that "blow the roof off" reception that he was used to.

I firmly believe the rock would get more boo's then anyone would think.
At first, yeah, pop of the century. But when they start settling down you'll definitely hear it. They did it at the HOF, theyd do it at any show he doesnt wrestle on.

I don't think there's any question, at least I don't think there should be, that Cena vs The Rock is the best business decision. The name of today vs the name of yesterday. Orton could also sell the match, but not as good as Cena. And what's with all the ing hate this guy gets? There's NO REASON to hate this guy for leaving wrestling. One of the perfect examples of internet wrestling fans hypocrisy. They **** on Flair for not staying retired, then praise Michaels for staying retired, then turn around and **** on Rock for staying out. He said he was done, he stayed done. Using his real name for acting isn't "betraying" fans, if anything the fans should be thankful "The Rock" isn't tagged onto all the Disney flicks he's made. But please, if I'm missing something on why so many fans hate him now, let me know.

As much as I love The Rock and would love to see him back in the ring. I'm happy that he gave us a great run and left made us wanting more thats how you should retire not to the point of being a rundown joke or your hurting so bad as soon as you wake up. I think he still loves wrestling it's just not his job and what he's doing right now. Just because he goes on talk shows or has interviews and doesn't talk wrestling unless its brought up doesn't mean he hates his fans or wrestling he's at the shows to promote his latest thing not to talk about wrestling. I still think he will wrestle one last time but if not i'm fine with that he's still entertaining me on film.

Imagine The Rock returning to face John Cena at Wrestlemania. Rock would oviously be the heel. The best part would be the promo's we would recieve, and the reaction for the match.

I wish they could have done something amazing back when Evolution was still going strong and there was the Mick Foley/Randy Orton feud. I was always hoping for a Randy Orton vs The Rock when Orton was the Legend Killer. Would have been amazing. Always wanted Shawn Michaels vs The Rock too, and of course I'd still like to see John Cena vs The Rock.

watch summerslam 2002 and tell me that. The Rock had been away for all of 3 months. He's now been away for 6 years. I'm pretty sure he'd get a 100% positive reaction.
