Just finished it.
I didnt like it one bit. It made no sense at all, David Bowie randomly disappearing, Coops storyline just getting dropped for no reason, Laura got
ing annoying by the end of the film, What the hell was with the monkey.I can see why it tanked, it didnt feel like twin peaks at all.
Yeah, it's weird. I liked Bowie in it, but I didn't like that he was someone who wasn't ever mentioned before. Especially since FWWM shows that the FBI had some sort of an idea about the weird happenings going on. Since I don't know exactly why they did that, I feel like they could have had Chris Isaak's character come back later to do that scene since he disappeared and they already established who he was earlier in the film.
I think the Cooper stuff was just to show that he had a weird psychic ability, since them possibly knowing about the Black Lodge doesn't do them any good.
But the ending was good with Laura ascending to Heaven.
I have NO IDEA about the monkey. haha
Like I said, there was A LOT cut.
