Made a thread a few weeks ago saying i ordered twin peaks gold boxset for christmas, well its christmas but i was too excited and i started watching it on monday Anyway yeah, I'm up to where Leo just met Windom Earle My thoughts so far, One of the weirdest but most unique shows i've ever seen. BOB is creepy as , ive never been so creeped out by a tv show, i even read that whenever bob is on screen they play hypnotic sounds in the background to make him seem scarier, which worked Dale Cooper is an amzing lead character I love the lighter comedic sides of the show Plus Audrey was hot. Things i didnt like, since the killer was revealed, the show just hasn't felt the same, early on i was like, its 2am, but just 1 more episode etc, now i just dont see the point, i mean theres a few episodes left, i know, the storylines aint gonna be tied up, just Not really a fan of Dennis/Denise and Nadine being superstrong and thinking she's a teenager again WTF Anyway so yeah, theyre my thoughts on twin peaks so far, with 7/8 episodes left to go

I tried 3 times to get through the first episode, and each time I fell asleep.

I haven't watched it in years, I really need to.
But yeah, the general complaint is that the show fell of after the reveal. I think that was also when David Lynch stopped being involved. He wasn't there for the 2nds seasons, except the finale.

Just you mentioning Windom Earle makes me want to say so much about what is going to happen, but I won't. I will say there are some weird changes in store.
Yeah, once Laura's murder is "solved", it gets kinda slow and sometimes stupid. Some of the side stories are bad. I don't know if you got this far, but there is an awful story with James that I could not stand. I won't say what it is in case you're not that far yet, and it's a really small side story so me warning you about it isn't that much of a spoiler. But it was terrible.
Since you're this far into it I can mention this person: I LOVE Albert. Miguel Ferrer was AWESOME in that role.
The Denis/Denise thing was kinda lame, but it has one of my favorite exchanges in the show: Denise: "I may be wearing a dress but I still put my panties on one leg at a time, if you know what I mean." Cooper: "Not really."
The last episode(both parts) is a killer. Oh boy. hahaa
I said it in the last thread and I'll say it again: "SOMEBODY DANCE WITH ME!"

I get the somebody dance with me reference now haha, what the was leyland doing lol Erm, the james storyline, where he helps the woman with the car, and they try and blackmail him for killing her husband or something. Latest episode i watched was Windom left a mask in Dales room and the recorder went off saying something

Latest episode i watched was Windom left a mask in Dales room and the recorder went off saying something I loved Dancin' Leland! "Get Jacoby, get a net, but get him out of my life." The whole dancing Leland thing had to do with Bob. This is where it kind of gets tricky because there are different theories and no definitive answer since David Lynch doesn't like explaining things. The general consensus comes from what The Man From Another Place(the midget says): "Where we're from the birds sing a pretty song and there is always music in the air." So Bob is used to the music and likes it. But also the music is what kept Leland from not going completely crazy because even though he was possessed by Bob, Leland was still in there, and since he was possessed by Bob a lot of the time, he couldn't grieve as a person would. Yeah, that's the James story. That might be the story I disliked the most out of the whole series. Ugh. Do you like Norma and Ed? I thought they were a great couple. I remember Windom leaving the mask, but it is all one big chunk in my head, so I don't remember how much is left. You're getting close to the end though. I look forward to reading that post right after it ends. I always love peoples reactions to it.

Something thats been on my mind, in the dream when Laura said to Coop, "See you in 25 years" As soon as i heard that i thought, 25th Anniversary special, probably won't happen, but its just a few years away if it did, with this being its 20th year since it aired

BUT after it is over you should have an idea.

Believe me, you don't want a single thing spoiled with how this show ends. So I will just say this: since they had ideas for a third season, there are a few things that are set up for it, which you can find out about online after you are done. But the way the show is, and the way you'll see it end, it probably would have ended as incredible even if it lasted longer. You really have no idea what you're in for. haha Just talking about it makes me want to watch those last 2 eps again. It really is so incredible that now, 20 years later, tv show finales still can't compare.

Twin Peaks was a great show.
If you like it you should watch the Twin Peaks themed episode of Psych that they made a few weeks ago. It has most of the stars too.

Six Feet Under finale is the best finale ever period, with The Shield being a distant second.

HOLY ING SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just finished the series. My God, the finale is one of the greatest things i have ever seen in my life. All of the black lodge scenes were messing with my head. I'm not gonna lie, the black lodge scenes were scaring me. The doppelgangers and Bob and Lauras screaming omg. They really saved the best episode for last. I really hope they do something with it in 5 years, its just too good to leave it like that. Up until now Lost was my favourite show, but my god after that finale, and the Laura Palmer storyline, Twin Peaks is definately on par, if not better than Lost. David Lynch you ing bastard, making people want more. I don't know what i'm going to do, I need more twin peaks.

BOB is dead in real life, so they'd have to find someone else to play him.
Watched the ending on youtube, insane.
