There's a Target near me that has an Elite 4 Jericho, and eventhough I like the body I can't stand the head. If I bought a basic Y2J would I be able to swap the heads without screwing them up? And would the basic head on the elite body be fully movable/articulated?

Any technique you recommend for taking them off, or should I just pop em off? You could either heat the head with a hairdryer or dip it in hot water for about 30 seconds then just pull the head off. |

I did it with my elite n basic y2j, but for some reason the basic head on elite body was super wobbly. I switched em back. But I did it with other figs and it's fine, like dolph and Christian

Yes you can swap 'em, but the trick is not breaking the joint, cause if you do that, then the body is worth nothing to you at all. If you take the head off a Mattel figure, it looks alot like the Jakks head/neck bearings, but there's something keeping it in place that can't be cracked or else the figure will be broken. I'd recommend boiling it for about a minute or so, then popping the head off. That's the safest bet in my opinion. Hope I could help! GOOD LUCK!

I swap elite heads onto basic bodies all the time. I always use the boiling water technique, cause it's easy and I've never had a figure break while using it.

funny. i tried to do the same swap but i was unsatisfied all together with it. i found the basic head sat up higher than the elite head and though it also sat up higher on the basic body, the shape of the basic torso just seemed to benefit from it and likewise look worse with the elite head.
after switching, i decided to swtich back and just let it be. i did switch the kneepads though. i still can't decide which to make a custom daniel bryan, but i'll bet that as soon as i do decide mattel will announce an awesome daniel bryan and i will be out a jericho fig just in time for his return to wrestling. (just my luck) -- but boiling is the way to go if you wanna switch.

I use a hairdryer. Just heat the head for 30 seconds and it'll pop right off. Then just pop it on the new body and it'll be fully functional.

speaking of parts swapping im thinkin about Putting a CS Eddie Guerrero head on a Mattel Elite Body has anyone tried this out ?
