With the end of 2010 here, what figures, Jakks TNA/WWE or Mattel WWE, do you prefer? You can use ANY type of comparison you want. Packaging, articulation, playibility, yes i made up a word, deal with it, i mean how it plays, for those of you like me who play with figures. any comparison you want. please explain why even though a poll is included.

Jakks, just because I already had a Jakks collection and did not want to restart. Also, pricing because Mattel is too expensive now

Mattel because: the different hights, better headscans(not at every figure) but all together mattel is better than jakks

I like the Jakks RA figures the best, but that's only due to the sheer variety of characters available. I pepper them out, however, with people like Sheamus, Drew McIntyre, Ricky Steamboat, and Yoshi Tatsu from Mattel.. and the Mattel Elites are truly pretty awesome figures! I LOVE that Mattel's making a solid effort for scale too.
TNA DI figures are cool.. but I hate that they're so bulky compared the other 500+ characters I have, y'know?

Playability is not a made up word. You just spelled it wrong.
And I voted Mattel. They actually focus on scale, unlike Jakks, and that's a big deal in my book.
Wishing Mattel could capture some of the Diva scans a little better though, but it may improve.

There is no contest really. Mattel is by far the superior brand.

Mattel figures just don't do it for me, they are way too scrawny, and do not give the figures that larger than life feel that Jakks was able to project.
I like how Mattel makes their big men like Taker, Kamala, and Vader but even those figures are narrow shouldered and thier biceps appear to be suffering from atrophy.

Mattel by far. I was iffy at first about Mattel till I had the figures in my hand, then my opinion changed drastically. Now I can't get enough of them.
I used to love Jakks but they were dropping the ball long before Mattel took over anyways. I was getting tired of poor scale & part choices. And Jakks seems to still have that problem with the TNA figures.
I love the realism of the bodies & scale of Mattel compare to the balloon arms and gigantic heads of Jakks. And it's so nice to have Taker & Bourne two completely different sizes.
Not to mention the fact that in one year some guys had up to three new head scans to choose from. Where with Jakks we had to wait years for a new scan.

Mattel, but I still love some of my old Jakks figs like the DA 16 Edge, which I prefer over any Mattel Edge

I hate jakks, but the only thing that they do better is packaging. I hate opening mattels because of all the stupid rubber band things. Not to mention, the packaging can morph figures sometimes. I've only had that problem with like 2 jakks figures. I also feel like jakks figures are better to play with. Mattel figures seem to get looser much quicker than jakks. But overall, mattel obliterates jakks. The detail is ridiculous, and for the most part, they dont cheap out on stuff like jakks.

I like both.
Mattel Pros - Scale, Detail, More of the Roster Mattel Cons - Price, Lack of accessories, head scans on some people
Jakks Pros - Head Scans, Accessories, Price Jakks Cons - Scale, Lack of releases e.g. Mattel is on series 7/8, jakks are on 3/4.
So i'm not going to vote because i like both brands equally

I voted Mattel, however this time last year-I was NOT convinced...love the scale, attention to detail and packaging.
Jakks has 'jumped the shark' as their TNA line shows the same lax approach as some of the final lines of their WWE product.
I still buy an occassional Jakks TNA fig (Hogan) but still am not impressed with Jakks.....some of their proto figs look promising, however I have been disappointed before by this.
Happy New Year, -Wagdaddy

JAKKS CS line, not the current TNA figures/stuff. The CS line will always be my favorite line of figures.
