just something i've been wondering about....Series 1 is pegwarming at my TRU....we never did get an announcement of the 3rd set in Series 2 (though that could possibly be due to downsizing to 2 sets per series)....and Series 1 came out months ago,yet no mention of when Series 2 is expected to hit...no packaged pics...nothing...
i'm wondering if the series will continue....or perhaps the figures will be folded into the singles line?

Mattel said they will come out once Series 1 stops shelfwarming. So it might be awhile.

I imagine if they keep it going it'll be down to 2 sets per wave, giving us 4 figures just like Legends.

As long as I get my Rockers, I'm all good.

I figure a set coming out every 6 months or 8 months would be about right.

I figure a set coming out every 6 months or 8 months would be about right. And it would be better because Mattel is producing a lot of WWE figures!

my biggest WANT from Mattel is this 2 pack of The Rockers! in all their 1989 glory! unless of course one day the biggest heel to all wrestling figure collectors: Martha Hart changes her mind!

I hope they come out soon. I mean i'm getting tired of Mattel not giving us news. I mean that is one thing Jakks was pretty good with was constant news and release dates/times of possible release. With Mattel we rarely get new news or release dates, stuff just kinda pops up.

With most of the release dates from Jakks, they were lies, and the figures would get pushed back. With Mattel, if they just release it when they're ready, then there's noone getting lied to.

Yeah it works from both ways i guess.

Jeez the way the Legends single figures are selling around here, it really makes me wonder if they will get canceled or if my stores will ever get in a series past 2?

The problem in my opinion is who they have in some of the two packs. People are having no problem dropping 30 between the 2 Demolition figures but I don't know anyone who likes the Bushwackers enough to spend that same kinda green on them.

But Bob Orton? Piper when he has an EG? Another Sheik? Those i don't agree with in the series or set. If you are gunna make them 30$ make them worth 30$.

Don't get me wrong, I like the Bushwackers, but given the choice between any of those two packs or 2 legends like vader and perfect, I'm not picking the 2 pack.

I still need to pick up all three sets, but I've been a little low on funds lately.
Oh well, maybe I can get them sometime soon.

Yeah bushwhackers? really Mattel. Series 2 is stacked. Series 1 not so much. Iron Sheik and Nikolai shelf warmed for jakks and they were 1/3 cheaper. Demolition is a good choice but they should have also had others just as good. Demolition, road warriors, and shawn michaels and triple H would have been epic. BTW they should also sign the new age outlaws and China. Maybe a whole set of DX with removable army gear.

If I didn't collect every single Legends figure, I probably only would've got The Bushwackers.

I'm sure we'll still get series 2 in time. Personally I can't wait to get Kevin & Kerry Von Erich & The Rockers. Still it would be nice if we could find out if & who the third set would be. Unless they are dropping down to two sets per series.
I agree the problem with series 1 was the line up. I only ordered Piper lose on E-bay but I quickly replaced him with the Entrance Great version once I found it. If the line up would have been L.O.D., Demolition, & the Rockers you could bet they would have sold a lot faster.
