I am still a Brock fan...I won't turn my back on him like the majority of mma fans.
..Just last year people were talking about him being the one guy who could beat Fedor...but now he is a can who will never beat an elite fighter, blah blah blah....
I think he will be champion again...as long as his dedication is there, he is willing to branch out and train with different camps, and he learns to not be afraid of getting hit.
I can't wait until his fight with JDS. I too think he is going to lose, but I hope I am wrong and he shocks the mma world.

the baddest man on the planet line came after the Carwin fight....it isn't like it came after the Herring fight....
you can't write a guy off after one loss. That is just ridiculous...

I've just been having problems lately(not on this board) with people calling me a fair weather fan of a guy who I've never thought was great to begin with. The problem isn't respecting that someone likes a guy, it's respecting that someone doesn't like a guy. |

After seeing how easily Cain was able to finish Lesnar, I believe Fedor would have honestly knocked Lesnar's head off his shoulders. Sorry. Still love ya, Brock.

Couture gave him trouble, but Brock caught him and that was a good win for him.
Mir is one of the most overrated guys of all time. He's good, but not as good as what Zuffa hypes him to be.
Carwin proved he can't hang with his performance after round 1. Lesnar did a good job there taking advantage of Carwin being tired.
I know you're a Lesnar fan, and I am too, but you honestly can't deny that he has been hyped to the moon for all the wrong reasons. It may be the right reasons financially, but until he was REALLY tested (like he was against Carwin, almost lost and again against Cain, which he lost), he didn't deserve the "Baddest Man on the Planet" nickname everyone was giving him. Kind of ironic UFC used that name, seeing as CBS used that "Baddest Man on the Planet" for the title of Fedor's special.
Fedor's loss = technical error/carelessness
Lesnar's loss = clear lack of standup defense
When Fedor gets hit, he doesn't run and try to do the macarena. He goes right after the guy at all times.
BTW, Werdum > Lesnar.

Fedor is a legend. His record and style speaks for it self. He finishes guys and he doesn't run from his opponents. Amateurish? It was carelessness. Fedor has been in there with the best heavyweights and never once got closed to being submitted. He just didn't think Werdum would be able to sub him.

At least Lesnar has the excuse that he is still learning as he goes... When you're main eventing in the biggest, hardest hitting division in the premier fighting organization in the world today, you don't have that luxury. |

I love Fedor too but I think he is going to lose the HW tourney....Overeem is taking the whole thing. I think Fedor has begun to show that he is human...it started in the Arlovski fight...then against Brett Rogers....and finally against Werdum.
anyways...I just find it crazy how mma boards work....the same way you guys get mad when you are labeled as a hater if you criticize Brock, I get mad (and I am sure others do too) when we try to defend Brock and say we think he will come back and beat some elite competition....we get labeled fanboys....or we bought into the hype....or Zuffa Zombies (because I swear to god i feel bloodstain lane is on this forum)...blah blah blah.
