Definitely your opinion, but I just don't see how it can be considered a worst prediction. There should always be decent reasoning behind a prediction, and an argument can be made for Toney knocking out Couture. What's the argument in Griffin knocking out Silva? He's a boxer against one of the worlds best MMA fighters, what do people thinks going to happen? It's not a boxing match. Had he been a MMA fighter which had a boxing background, someone who could rely on more than just throwing a punch I could of understood, but he had no reason to be in a MMA match on the level of the UFC, especially against Randy frickin' Couture who still today is one of the best despite the disrespect he gets off some silly MMA fans out there. Least Forrest has some MMA history to look at to make an assumption like that, as dumb as maybe to. Is boxing not an aspect of MMA? Could Toney not have come swinging for the fences (which he should have), and knocked him out? The Forrest statement also makes no sense. Just cause someone has an MMA history, does not make it a good basis for a prediction. That's like me picking Cheick Kongo to beat Fedor by submission in a fight. Sure, he's not known for submissions, but he has a couple on his record and he has an MMA background. See? It makes no sense. And yet Sonnen had Silva SERIOUSLY rocked about a minute into their fight. Sure, he wasn't finished, but he was very close to being finished...He was rocked and NOBODY has had Silva rocked like that. My point being is, don't say it isn't possible because it can happen on any given night. Sure, I made the bad call of Forrest KO'ing Silva. I thought it was possible, but I was wrong. However, people actually picking James Toney to beat Randy Couture?? Come on now...You said he's a boxer and well known-knock-out artist... Answer me this, exactly how many shots did this "knock-out artist" land in that fight?? LOL...I don't think he landed one single punch...What a ing joke man. Some knock-out artist he proved to be... You will NEVER convince me that me saying Forrest KO'ing Silva was worse than some people picking James Toney to beat Randy Couture. What were people thinking?? At least Forrest put up some sort of fight, unlike that tomato-can James Toney...Seriously, how pathetic was that take-down Randy scored on him??...Wow...What a joke... I don't care if Sonnen rocked Silva. That happened one year after the Forrest fight. Don't act like you used that to predict Forrest knocking out Silva. Then you say 'don't say it isn't possible because it can happen on any given night', then completely disregard the idea of James Toney knocking out Couture. once again, lolwut? I'm just saying that, if people had to bet money on which is more likely, Forrest knocking out Silva or Toney knocking out Couture. I would easily say a majority would pick the latter. Hell, even the betting lines were more favourable in that sense. I love Forrest Griffin but he did not try in that fight. He had himself beat before he even got into the Octagon. He was practically begging to get out of there. Is this the UFC 129 thread or the "Anderson Silva got rocked and James Toney rules" thread? I think it's the UFC 129 thread. People get off topic, **** happens. And Old School, I think they will be releasing more tickets. I know they released some last night.

Just got back from the Super 7 Presentation/Weigh-ins. Had an awesome time, and lucked out with some pretty great seats.
It was neat seeing all seven champions together at once. Unfortunately, Aldo/GSP couldn't stay too long because I guess they had to take care of some medical stuff before the weigh-ins.
Obviously an enormous pop for GSP both times he came out. Henderson got booed for not making weight, and Aldo received a mixed reaction from the crowd both times he came out. Mixed reaction for Silva too, especially when they Rogan brought up the possible GSP/Silva match.

I made a stupid mistake of not thinkingI would get into the weigh-ins and left. Got front row for the Chuck Q&A though. Also was like the 3rd person to ask Bruce Buffer a question, lol.

Jake looked a lot better than he did back in October for UFC 121. Seems like this cut went well.
Anyway, here are my predictions you all have been waiting for:
UFC 129 "ST-PIERRE VS. SHIELDS", 4/30/2011 (PPV/Spike TV/Facebook.com Stream/ESPN-UK) Rogers Centre, Toronto Ontario Canada
1. Featherweight bout: Yves Jabouin vs. Pablo Garza 2. Lightweight bout: John Makdessi vs. Kyle Watson 3. Middleweight bout: Jason MacDonald vs. Ryan Jensen 4. Bantamweight bout: Ivan Menjivar vs. Charlie Valencia 5. Welterweight bout: Claude Patrick vs. Daniel Roberts 6. Welterweight bout: Sean Pierson vs. Jake Ellenberger 7. Welterweight bout: Nate Diaz vs. Rory MacDonald 8. Lightweight bout: Mark Bocek vs. Ben Henderson 9. Light Heavyweight bout: Randy Couture vs. Lyoto Machida 10. Light Heavyweight bout: Vladimir Matyushenko vs. Jason Brilz 11. Featherweight Championship: José Aldo (c) vs. Mark Hominick 12. Welterweight Championship: Georges St-Pierre (c) vs. Jake Shields
My heart is with Jake, but if you were asking me to put money down and choose who would win, I'd choose GSP. Hope Jake can somehow pull it off though.

I'll just do the 3 main fights: Lyoto Machida Vs Randy Couture - I would LOVE Randy to win this fight... especially if it is indeed his last fight. But Machida is such a bad match-up for him style-wise... I can see him peppering Randy with shots and keeping the fight at range to win a UD - or possibly get a late stoppage. But, as we've learned with Randy, you can NEVER count him out... Jose Aldo Vs Mark Hominick - It's a shame for Aldo that the Featherweight division isn't deep in talent, otherwise he could possibly be seen as the best P4P fighter in the world. I think he's on another level to Hominick, and should stop him around the 3rd. Georges St.Pierre Vs Jake Shields - Although they are both great wrestlers, St.Pierre is a far superior striker and kick-boxer to Shields and if he can keep this fight on it's feet, he could end up getting a stoppage win. If not, he'll win a convincing decision to once again confirm himself the best P4P fighter on the planet (...sorry Anderson Silva fans... ) Enjoy the fights, guys!

The amount of WIN in this picture cannot be comprehended. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think this was when he was asked if he'd fight Bones. Silva was hilarious today
