Did you hear anything about when tickets go on sale? I've been wondering.

Well, UFC 128 tickets go on sale this week. So my best guess is probably a few days after UFC 126, so early February. No set date has been announced yet though.

I think they'll draw a hell of ALOT more than 40,000 fans for this event. I mean, put it this way. Pretty much every time UFC had ventured to Montreal, they have been sell-out crowds of over 20,000 and The Bell Centre is MUCH smaller than The SkyDome, I refuse to call it by the new name. It'll always be The SkyDome to me no matter what they call it now.
I think they'll draw no less than 50,000 because not only will you get all the 20,000 fans from Montreal coming over here, you'll get fans from all over the U.S. and the rest of Canada and I'm sure all over the world will be venturing into Ontario for this one. It'll be huge for sure.
I hope to attend. I think it looks like a great card. I don't care if I get nosebleed seats and watch the Jumbotron the whole night. Just to say we were there is enough for me. It'll be great no matter what. Can't wait.

I think they'll draw a hell of ALOT more than 40,000 fans for this event. I definitely agree that they could draw more than 40,000. Honestly, given a few more bigger names and marketing this event as the biggest UFC event ever, I think they could've sold out the entire place, which is like 60,000+. I think it was rumored that they're only going to seat 40,000 though which is where I got the number from.

^ Even still, if that's what they are planning, only making seating for just 40,000, I think that's a huge mistake because they could make a ton more cash if they pack the place, which I feel they will.
I've been to both WWF WrestleMania events at The Dome, VI in 1990 and X8 in 2002, and both events were packed. Some 67,000 were at VI and they beat that record for X8 drawing over 68,000. I think they could do the same with this UFC event seeing its the first time in Ontario and all.
If UFC wants to make the most money from this event, they'd release as many tickets as possible and pack The Dome. Even if they charged like $20 or so for nosebleed seats, I'm sure they'd still sell them no problem.
I'd pay that for sure and I wouldn't care one bit if I were watching the Jumbotron the whole night. The atmosphere at something as huge as that, would be incredible. And being a part of history would be awesome too. Because that's what it will be.
I believe Montreal still holds the UFC record for the most fans and I am proud to say I am a part of that record because I was there when GSP regained the belt from Matt Serra and I came back a year later for Silva/Leites. Not sure which event holds the record though. I'm sure UFC #83 is the record.
Records are meant to broken and come April 30th, that Montreal record will be shattered. You can guarantee that. I hope to be there because it'll be friggin' incredible.

I'd be extremely surprised if they do decide to pack the Rogers Centre because both Dana White and Tom Wright have said that they don't want to compromise the fan experience by holding too many people and having the fighters look like ants. I guess we'll see though.

Even though that is not the finalized card, I truly hope Sam Stout makes it on the card somewhere. I think it would be a dream for him to fight on that card.

Yes sir, born and raised right here in Canada. Chatham is actually my home town, but I live in Georgetown for now. And man, if you can snag free tix, that would be awesome. If you refuse free tix to an event that will be as huge as this one, you'd be a moron. I'm sure we will all get nosebleed seats, but that's fine with me. Just to say we were there is more than enough for me. The atmosphere that night will be friggin' incredible.
