It will be Junior Dos Santos and Brock Lesnar. They'll fight in June, according to Dana White. No interim Title on the line.

This doesn't make sense at all. Unless Dana is hoping that Brock can beat JDS and thus go on to rematch Cain for the title. Being a big Brock fan, I still don't like this. I would much rather have seen Frank Mir and Brock as coaches. And if Brock thought that he took an beating by Cain, he has no idea what JDS is gonna do to him.

Happy, it means we won't get another Lesnar/Mir fight so early, I'm glad to have something fresh

I'd imagine this season will get a decent ratings spike.

oh man. Definitely will watch this season. Not sure if putting Lesnar in their with possibly the best heavyweight striker in the UFC is the smartest idea.

Wow...Should be an awesome season...Well, scratch that. What weight class will they be coaching?? If it's Heavyweight again, it might not be good at all seeing how the last Heavyweight season went. It was really poor in many people's opinions. I mean, the fights were sloppy and guys were out of gas way too quick, etc.
I'd really like to know which weightclass they will be coaching. And the fight between Brock and Junior will be fireworks. Better not blink in that one. Someon's goin' to sleep for sure. I think it's bad fight for Brock, but you never know, right??
We can state OUR opinions back and forth what MIGHT happen, but until those two step in there and brawl, we don't know sh*t for a fact until then.
For all we know, Brock just MIGHT catch Junior and drop him out cold with a shot to the face. It's possible. You can't deny that. It's also possible that Brock could come out guns blazing and Junior takes Brock down and subs him out in less than a minute.
ANYTHING in MMA is possible, so never discredit a thing until the final bell sounds. It'll be a HELL of a fight, that much we can count on. I can't wait.

I was almost starting to worry about this season had it been heavyweights again, but thankfully, that is not the case. Should be an interesting season none-the-less.

At the very least, it's going to make for some interesting TV to see how Lesnar reacts to the guy who goes on the show just to act like a jackass and become the "bad boy" of the season.
I'm a pretty decent Lesnar fan, I still think he has a future in the UFC if he wants one. A true champion knows how to come back from a humbling loss, all the best have had to deal with it eventually. My money is on JDS, but you never know. If Lesnar can do what no one else has been able to do, get JDS on the ground and most importantly KEEP him there, he may have a shot. Fist-on-fist, though, Lesnar may be in for one hell of a beating.

Lesnar may be in for one hell of a beating. Again. I think you forgot to add the word "again" after the word "beating". LOL. ;D Seriously though, it will be an interesting fight. One that I am VERY much looking forward to.

^...mm Bisping hasn't done jafk sh** to deserve such a high profile match against chael.
anyways...this is interesting. I am a huge fan of JDS...but I want Brock to win JUST BECAUSE I am so mad at how fast people dismissed him after his loss to Cain...

Great, because we all know that putting a guy that has little experience & wilts when getting punched in the face against one of if not the best heavyweight striker in the UFC is a great idea. It'll be a huge fight, but Lesnar's only hope is to take Dos Santos down in the first 5 seconds and keep him there.

Yeah - that's what I thought... unless Brock vastly improves his stand-up, it could be a painful night. Still, he's said he doesn't want any easy fights and wants to test himself, so all credit to him. TUF should be great fun! anyways...this is interesting. I am a huge fan of JDS...but I want Brock to win JUST BECAUSE I am so mad at how fast people dismissed him after his loss to Cain... Yeah - me too. He was fighting the best HW (and possibly best HW striker) on the planet... I still think Brock beats most HWs out there.

For all the Brock haters out there, you've got to give Brock some serious credit. I mean, he's taking on the BEST heavyweights in the world. He took on Cain Velasquez in which he lost the belt and got whooped and when he comes back he'll be taking on the #1 contender in Junior Dos Santos. He's not sitting back and looking for easy fights. He's taking on the best guys UFC can put his way. For that, he definitely earns my respect.
