Trios Match: The Colony vs. Bruderschaft des Kruezes Young Lions Cup Frightmare© vs. Mike Sydal Trios Match: CHIKARA Sekigun vs. Kamikaze USA Single Match: Eddie Kingston vs Delirious Atomicos Match: The Rough Necks & The Unstable vs. Super Smash Brothers & RockNes Monsters Single Match: Hieracon vs. Johnny Gargano Tag Match: Osirian Portal vs. F.I.S.T Single Match: Tim Donst vs. Larry Sweeney
At King of Trios 2010, the finals came down to The Colony vs Claudio Castagnoli, Ares & Tursas of the BDK. Because of dirty tactics and an even dirtier referee, the BDK claimed the title of King of Trios 2010. Now these two trios will meat again in a rematch wanted by all.
Just a day before Frightmare is to wrestle in a trios match with Incoherence partner, Hallowicked and UltraMantis Black to take on the deadly dark army led by Sinn Bohdi, Frightmare must defend his Young Lions Cup against rising star of the indy scene and younger brother of WWE star, Evan Bourne. Mike Sydal!
with F.I.S.T and The Colony already confirmed for King of Trios this year, Chikara can proudly announce their first outsider trios to be in this years tournament as Shingo Takagi, YAMATO & Akira Tozawa better known as Kamikaze USA from DragonGate USA will be taking part in the tournament. Just to showcase their talents, Chikara as put together this trios match where Kamikaze USA will face another Dragon Gate USA trios in Hallowicked and the reigning Campeonatos de Parejas, Jigsaw & Mike Quackenbush.
At the season nine finale, Eddie Kingston made sure Delirious was unable to interfere in the Campeonatos de Parejas match that saw Jigsaw & Mike Quackenbush defeat Ares & Claudio Castagnoli for the belts. An angry Castagnoli has told Kingston he will face him the very next night only if he can get past Delirious in singles action.
The Rough Necks seems unbeatable since their return as a tag team and now they venture in to atomicos action as they team with Vin Gerard & STIGMA of The Unstable to take on Player Uno & Player Dos of the Supler Smash Brothers and fellow video game lovers, rising indy tag team and making their first Chikara appearance, Johnny Goodtime & Johnny Yuma, the RockNES Monsters!
The artist formally known as Jonathan Gresham, Hieracon has finally became a full fledged member of the Osirian Portal and has had great success so far in Chikara with trios action. Now he ventures in to his first singles match as he takes on Johnny Gargano of F.I.S.T
And not to leave the other members of The Osirian Portal and F.I.S.T out, they will do battle in Tag Team action where those vital points will be on the line. Neither tagteam has a single point so this could be the first step to one of these teams becoming the next Campeonatos de Parejas!
Tim Donst of the BDK has been on his own journey recently claiming to be the greatest young lions cup champion in chikara history. Several former champions have heard Donst's claim and have stepped up to shut him up. Jimmy Olsen and Hallowicked have both failed in defeated their fellow former young lions cup champion and now the recently returned Larry Sweeney steps up to the challenge!

Couples is an interesting word for it, but okay. I like these hype posts. Very well laid out and well written. Gets the job done easy.

I'm sure partner is a more accurate word. The previews are set up very well. The show looks like it will be good. Would personally love to see BDK gain power again, only to lose it for good at the end of this season. Kingston/Delirious should be good.

The trios match makes perfect sense to main event hoping for Colony to go over. Liking Sydal coming in, he had an impressive showing at the YLC hopefully it will be a good match. Loving Kamikaze USA in KoT would have liked Moxley as third member but I can see why you didn't go with him. I'd love to see them elimantated early so we can see Kingston/Shingo on night 3. The Delirous/Kingston should be fun and I see Eddie winning to face Claudio next. SSB and RNM is an awesome combination of win and hopefully RockNES gets some points in the future. Hoping Gargano wins his match as he and FIST looked weak losing to the Portal, plus Gargano has really lost steam as of late. Glad your contiuing the Donst story. Overall perfectly realistic Chikara booking. Would have liked to see The Batiri somewhere though but I guess they might show up sometime. Good luck and keep this up.

Lol, oh no, Sweeney is gonna wrestle! If there's at least a strut off, then I know it'll be good!

February 19th 2011 DVD Exclusive:The show kicks off with the self proclaimed greatest young lions cup champion, Tim Donst of the BDK talking about how he has already defeated Jimmy Olsen and even the very first young lions cup champion, Hallowicked and tonight, he further proves his point that he is the greatest man in chikara to have held the young lions cup. Donst throws a few insults, Sweeney’s way claiming he is washed up and should go back to the nut house before laughing and walking off screen. 1 - Single match) Tim Donst defeated. Larry Sweeney - A slow opener for Chikara tonight as Sweeney is still lacking the look he had during his first run with chikara several years prior and Donst has always worked a slow paced style. Still, the fans were in to it and popped with Sweeney give them a strut mid match. The finish eventually arrived with Donst dropkicking Larry in the left knee, that he’d been working on the entire match before connecting with the Gator Roll, slamming Sweeney’s face in to the canvas. Donst hooked the leg and got the three count. 2 - Single match) Hieracon defeated. Johnny Gargano - A much faster paced match than the opening contest that showed how over the Osirian Portal really are in Chikara with the fans. At times the match got pretty technical with both men countering each others moves. The finish to the match eventually arrived with Johnny Gargano going for his slingshot spear from the middle of the rope only for Hieracon to surprise Gargano by countering it in to the DDT. Hieracon quickly went to the top rope and hit the 450 splash on Gargano to pick up the victory. DVD Exclusive:The scene opens with Player Uno and Player Dos of the Super Smash Brothers talking about how they were having some trouble looking for partners for their upcoming atomicos match with The Unstable and The Rough Necks but at a local video games convention they bumped in to the perfect partners. They introduce Johnny Yuma and Johnny Goodtime, better known as the RockNES Monsters. Goodtime says that the RockNES Monsters have arrived in Chikara and it’s only a matter of time before they get those three points. 3 - Atomicos match) The RockNES Monsters (Johnny Goodtime & Johnny Yuma) and The Super Smash Brothers (Player Dos & Player Uno) defeated. The Rough Necks (Brodie Lee & Grizzly Redwood) and The Unstable (STIGMA & Vin Gerard) - The RockNES Monsters have arrived in Chikara after rising through the ranks of the So Cal scene eventually wrestling for NWA Hollywood and PWG and now Chikara. The match was fun atomicos action that saw a bit of everything where it was fast paced at the start but slowed down when Brodie Lee began to dominate all four of his opponents. The match soon picked up pace again and the finish arrived with the RockNES Monsters hitting a German Suplex/Super Kick combination on Vin Gerard to pick up the win for their team. Following the bell, The Rough Necks attacked the RockNES Monsters only for the Throwbacks to make the save, scattering the Rough Necks from the ring. 4 - Tag team match) F.I.S.T (Chuck Taylor & Icarus) defeated. The Osirian Portal (Amasis & Ophidian) - With a loss already on their record tonight, F.I.S.T took the early advantage by attacking The Osirian Portal during their entrance, then rolling them in to the ring to get the match started. The match itself was one sided for the first several minutes with Taylor and Icarus taking advantage of what they just did before The Osirian Portal battled back to even the odds. The match eventually finished with Icarus and Amasis falling out of the ring in car crash fashion as Ophidian called for the Egyptian Destroyer on Chuck Taylor only for Taylor to roll through and bridge to get the surprise pin to get the win for F.I.S.T Following the bell, Johnny Gargano ran out to the ring and celebrated with his F.I.S.T partners before the three men pointed at Ophidian who was just getting to his feet. The three men walked towards Ophidian but Hieracon hit the ring with a steel chair in hand and F.I.S.T retreated. DVD Exclusive:The scene opens with Eddie Kingston pacing back n forth before looking in to the camera and telling Claudio that he is so close to getting him one on one in the ring with no outside interference from any of his BDK buddies. Kingston says that tonight, he will annihilate their deranged pet, Delirious and sleep easily tonight knowing tomorrow will be the downfall of Claudio Castagnoli. 5 - Single match) Eddie Kingston defeated. Delirious - Delirious was led down to the ring by chain by Ares who then whispered in to Delirious ear before leaving the ring. Eddie Kingston then made his way down to the ring but ignored Delirious and made his way to Ares who didn’t notice and it was too late for him to run as Kingston grabbed him and slammed his head of the turnbuckle before hitting a t bone suplex on the concrete floor. Delirious leaves the ring to save his “master” but Kingston stops him and the two brawl on the outside for a while. The match went back in forth for a good amount of time and eventually finished with Delirious missing his “Shadows over heck” top rope splash allowing Kingston to stalk Delirious till he got to his feet and hit the Backfist to the Future, which span Delirious around allowing Kingston to hit the backdrop driver which was enough to pick up the three count. Delirious cut throat taunts before yelling “24 hours, Claudio. You have 24 hours” 6 - Trios Match) Kamikaze USA (Shingo Takagi, YAMATO & Akira Tozawa) defeated. Chikara Sekigun (Hallowicked, Jigsaw & Mike Quackenbush) - Probably the match of the night, very fast paced, back n forth and given plenty of time. The few minutes of Quackenbush vs. YAMATO while the other four men were brawling outside the ring was pure gold. After around twenty five minutes, the finish of the match eventually arrived rather shockingly with YAMATO locking Jigsaw in to the CBV, a crossface he calls the Cross Bone Vanguard. Quack and Hallowicked tried to make the save but Tozawa and Shingo both stopped them with tackles leaving Jigsaw no choice but to tap out. 7 - Young Lions Cup) Frightmare© defeated. Mike Sydal - Funny note, Mike Sydal used his brothers WWE theme as his own theme. A really fun yet slightly short match where both men got in a lot of offence, managing to hit their big moves. The finish to the match arrived with Mike Sydal looking to connect with the Shooting Star Press and all seemed well till Frightmare rolled out of the way sending Sydal crashing in to the canvas. Frightmare quickly sprang back to life and hit the KNEEcolepsy to pick up the victory and retain the Young Lions Cup. Following the bell, Sinn Bohdi’s dark army hit the ring and attack Frightmare. Sydal tries to make the save but is demolished by the four men. Hallowicked and UltraMantis Black make their way to the ring along with the Campeonatos de Parejas, Jigsaw and Mike Quackenbush and the dark army retreat from the ring. DVD Exclusive:The scene opens with Claudio Castagnoli yelling at the rest of the Bruderschaft members, telling them that its their fault Delirious lost tonight and its their fault he has to deal with Eddie Kingston himself. He then talks about how one year ago he, Ares and Tursas won King of Trios by defeating The Colony and today, they’ll repeat that success. Main Event - Trios Match) The Colony (Fire Ant, Green Ant & Soldier Ant) defeated. The Bruderschaft Des Kruezes (Ares, Claudio Castagnoli & Tursas) - The Colony get a big pop as they make their way to the ring, quite possibly the most over trios in Chikara at the current time. The match was an all out brawl that lasted half an hour with all six men hitting their spots and getting near falls. The finish eventually arrived with a fantastic span where Solder Ant and Green Ant stood on either side of the top rope holding their arms out allowing Fire Ant to climb on top of them for extra leverage. They slingshot Fire Ant high in to the air and he front flips, before crashing down on top of all three members of the opposite team. Tursas and Claudio fall to the outside of the ring and Ares struggles to his feet where he receives a spinning salute forearm shot from Soldier Ant causing Ares to spin around where Fire Ant picks him up and drops him with the Beach Blast. Green Ant then locks in the Texas Cloverleaf as Fire Ant and Soldier Ant dive outside of the ring to take out Claudio and Tursas once again. Ares is locked in the cloverleaf for several more seconds before he is forced to tap out. The crowd cheer as the Colony celebrate in the ring as the show comes to an end.

Hope you continue the Donst beating the former Young Lion Cup Holders storyline. Wish Gargarno went over as I feel he needed momentom while Hieracon didn't really need a win. I love the teaming of SSB and the NES it makes perfect sense although saying about the three points is odd since its an atomicos match. Sounds like the RockNES are here to stay. Glad FIST won since they lost earlier. So glad Kingston went over so he can face Claudio next. Loving KAM going over Quack, Jig and Wicked really puts them over as huge competitors in KoT. Glad Frightmare and Sydal had a decent match. The post match stuff was good don't know why Quack and Jig also came out though. Loving the Colony win and a huge submission return win for Green Ant. Good luck and keep this up.

Single Match: Eddie Kingston vs Claudio Castagnoli Trios Match: UltraMantis Black & Incoherence vs Sinn Bohdi & The Batiri Tag Team Match: Shingo Takagi & Akira Tozawa vs The Osirian Portal Trios Match: Larry Sweeney & The Olsen Twins vs F.I.S.T Single Match: Mike Sydal vs Lince Dorado Open Challange: Sara Del Rey & Daizee Haze vs .... Single Match: Mike Quackenbush vs YAMATO Four-Corner Tag Team Match: The Colony vs 3.0 vs RockNES Monsters vs Los Ice Creams
Eddie Kingston was told by Claudio Castagnoli "defeat Delirious and we shall meet in the ring one on one with no BDK" Eddie Kingston did just that and now these two will meet one on one for the first time in 14 months. The last time these two met, Claudio defeated Kingston in a respect match, respect Kingston has still yet to give to Claudio.
The Dark Army wants nothing more but to make UltraMantis Black's life a living hell. At the season 9 finale, Sinn Bohdi made his first appearance using the already known Batiri and a still unnamed member of the dark army to attack UltraMantis Black. Thanks to Incoherence however, UltraMantis Black was saved and lives to fight another day. That day is now as UltraMantis Black declares war on the same dark army he was planing to declare war on the BDK with.
Last night, Shingo and Akira along with partner YAMATO proved why they are one of the top teams to be in this years King of Trios tournament by defeating Hallowicked and the current Campeonatos De Parejas, Jigsaw & Mike Quackenbush. Tonight, Shingo & Akira go it by themselves as they take on Amasis & Hieracon of the Osirian Portal.
Larry Sweeney came up short in shutting up the self proclaimed greatest young lions cup winner, Tim Donst last night but tonight, he teams up with the recently reformed Olsen Twins of Jimmy and Colin to take on F.I.S.T who have been suffering several loses recently. Can F.I.S.T get back on their winning ways with King of Trios right around the corner?
Mike Sydal came up just short in capturing the Young Lions Cup last night but tonight he gets a second change to get some wins in Chikara as he takes on fellow user of the shooting star press, Lince Dorado of the BDK.
After not being booked on yesterdays show, Sara Del Rey & Daizee Haze took to the chikara blog and said that if the chikara office is too scared to book them in matches then they're going to make their own. They have challenged any team from any promotion to face them tonight at Clutch of Doom.
YAMATO and "Lightning" Mike Quackenbush did battle last night in trios action where Kamikaze USA picked up the victory over CHIKARA Shogun, tonight, the two battle it out in what is sure to be a match of the year candidate.
Four of Chikara's tag teams battle it out for points as Fire Ant & Soldier Ant of the Colony go from their huge trios win with Green Ant last night to take on Jagged & Shane Matthews of 3.0, Ice Cream Jr & El Hijo Del Ice Cream of Los Ice Creams and the newbies of Chikara, Johnny Yuma & Johnny Goodtime of the RockNES Monsters, could one of these teams be your next Campeonatos de Parejas?

Great card, huge main event between King and Claudio would like to see King go over but I'd be happy either way. Hoping Black, Wicked and Frightmare win. I see team DGUSA topping off a big weekend with a tag win. Hoping FIST can win to get back on track. Hoping Sydal becomes a regular or if not a semi-regular. Wonder who will face DeathHaze. Quack/Yamato is far to good to be so far down on the card but I can't wait to see it. Nice opener would have prefered a basic tag match between Colony and RockNES. Keep this up.

Clutch of Doom! | February 20th 2011 | | Super Smash Brothers vs 3.0 vs The Colony vs RockNES Monsters | Fun match to kick off the show tonight as four of CHIKARA’s tag teams did battle, looking for points. Only the Colony had any points but if any of the other teams managed to eliminate all other teams, they’d have the three points necessary to challenge for Campeonatos de Parejas. That didn’t happen however and after five minutes of fun fast paced action, the first elimination arrived with Johnny Goodtime hitting the Frog Splash on Shane Matthews of 3.0. 3.0 were eliminated and RockNES Monsters picked up their first ever point in Chikara. The three remaining tag teams went at it for several more minutes till the second elimination arrived with The Colony hitting “The Ants Go Marching” Powerbomb/Neckbreaker combination on Player Dos of the Super Smash Brothers to pick up the three count, eliminating the Super Smash Brothers and giving the Colony a point of their own, officially giving them enough points to challenge for the Campeonatos de Parejas. The Colony and The RockNES Monsters did battle, each with their point on the line and eventually it came down to experience as Goodtime charged at Fire Ant, allowing Fire Ant to use Goodtime’s momentum against him by pulling down the top rope sending Goodtime crashing to the outside. Yuma managed to fight off both ants at first, super kicking Soldier Ant out of the ring but he took his eye of Fire Ant who quickly lifted Yuma and dropped him with the Beach Blast which was enough to give The Colony the win, and retain their points. | The Colony win the Four Corner Tag, and have the 3 points required to challenge for the Campeonatos de Parejas. | | Mike Sydal vs Lince Dorado | Mike Sydal came up short in capturing the Young Lions Cup yesterday in his match against the champion, Frightmare. Tonight he does battle with a man who also failed to defeat Frightmare for the cup in Lince Dorado of the Bruderschaft des Kruezes. The two men had a fun fast paced match that was given twelve or so minutes. The finished eventually arrived with Lince Dorado attempting the shooting star press only for Mike Sydal to roll out of the way, causing Lince to face plant the canvas. Sydal quickly jumped to the top rope and hit his own shooting star press borrowed from his brother, connecting perfectly and getting the three count. | Mike Sydal wins via pinfall following the Shooting Star Press. | | The Olsen Twins & Larry Sweeney vs F.I.S.T | A slower paced match than what we’ve seen so far, tonight but definitely a more technical match. F.I.S.T have been building a small losing streak recently and they aren’t overly happy about it, which definitely showed during the match as they went all out beating down Colin Olsen. Eventually, Olsen got the “hot tag” too Larry Sweeney who delivered several bionic elbows and even a strut which got the crowd hyped up. Sweeney was in good spirits but it didn’t last long as Gargano came out of no where with the spring board spear as Icarus and Chuck Taylor threw the Olsen Twins out of the ring. Icarus then connected with the Wings of Icarus on Larry Sweeney to put him away to give F.I.S.T their first victory as a trios in months. | F.I.S.T win via pinfall following Icarus hitting Wings of Icarus on Larrey Sweeney. | | Bruderschaft des Kruezes vs. The Canadian Ninjas | The female members of The Bruderschaft des Kruezes issued an open challenge to any tag team in the world and they sure got a response as the current reigning SHIMMER Tag Team Champions, Nicole Matthews & Portia Perez made their way down to the ring. The match was one of the better woman’s matches you’d see now days with all four women going at it. The match went on for a good fifteen minutes with some great back n forth action. The finish to the match eventually arrived with Nicole Matthews countering the Piledriver/German Suplex attempt by Haze & Del Rey by back dropping Del Rey. Perez then drop kicked her out of the ring allowing the Canadian Ninjas to hit their own move, “Funky Cold Medina” on Daizee Haze to pick up the victory. | The Canadian Ninjas win via pinfall following the Funky Cold Medina on Daizee Haze | | Kamikaze USA vs The Osirian Portal | The Osirian Portal have been doing great since becoming a trio once again by adding Jonathan Gresham to the mix and transforming him in to Hieracon. Tonight, Hieracon & Amasis teamed up for the first time with out Ophidian in the match as well to take on special guests from Dragon Gate USA, Shingo Takagi & Akira Tozawa. The match was fast paced and showcased some unique moves and an even more unique dance off that saw some slightly racist oriental music playing to Shingo doing the robot. The match soon got serious again and Kamikaze USA eventually picked up the victory after Shingo slammed Hieracon down to the canvas with his finisher, a wrist-clutch fisherman driver that he calls “Last Falconry” | Kamikaze USA wins via pinfall following a Last Falconry on Hieracon. | | YAMATO vs Mike Quackenbush | Shingo Takagi & Akira Tozawa along with YAMATO look to be the early favourites for this years King of Trios tournament after defeating the current Campeonatos de Parejas, Jigsaw & Mike Quackenbush along with partner Hallowicked last night. Looking to get some payback, Mike Quackenbush instantly challenged YAMATO to singles action tonight and the two put on a near five star classic. The match went nearly twenty five minutes and was extremely back n forth and fast paced at times that saw both men seemingly hit all their big moves. The eventual finish of the match arrived with YAMATO locking Quackenbush in to the CBV, the Cross Bone Vanguard, a variation of the cross face only for Quackenbush to counted it in to the Chikara Special. After being locked in the move for several seconds and seemingly not being able to move at all, YAMATO had no choice but to tap out. | Mike Quackenbush wins via submission following the Chikara Special. | | UltraMantis Black & Incoherence vs Sinn Bohdi & The Batiri | Sinn Bohdi and his dark army took the early advantage by attacking UltraMantis Black during his entrance along with their till recently unnamed, masked warrior who Sinn announced on the chikara website was called Kobald. The four men beat UltraMantis Black down till Hallowicked and the Young Lions Cup holder, Frightmare ran to the ring to make the save. Frightmare quickly disposed of Kobald and the scheduled trios match officially began. The match was pretty sure for what was considered one of the main events of the night but Sinn Bohdi still doesn’t look too great in the ring and with the announcement of Kobald, expect to see Sinn take up more of manager’s role. UltraMantis Black was beat down pretty badly during the entire match and when the finish arrived with The Batiri hitting their finisher, a Diving DDT/Lung Blower combination on Frightmare as Sinn basically smothered Hallowicked to the canvas, UltraMantis attempted to make the save but collapsed in the ring resulting Sinn & The Batiri picking up the three count. | Sinn Bohdi & The Batiri win via pinfall following a Lung Blower/Diving DDT combination on Frightmare. | | Claudio Castagnoli vs Eddie Kingston | The biggest match of the night was finally here as Eddie Kingston was finally going to get his hands on Claudio Castagnoli with promised no outside interference from the Bruderschaft des Kruezes. The two men went nose to nose and began yelling at each other to the point that Claudio yelled out “You still owe me your respect” to which Kingston replied with “Respect this” before hitting the Backfist to the Future on Castagnoli. Castagnoli hit the canvas hard and was seemingly out cold but as Kingston walked over to him, Claudio kicked Kingston’s shin, knocking him down to one knee where Claudio quickly got up and slammed Kingston down to the canvas with the Ricola Bomb. Kingston kicked out and the war kept on going as the remainder of the match was just punching, kicking, chops, suplexes and throws. The finish eventually arrived with Kingston kicking out of another Ricola Bomb and fighting back to the point that he was about to slam Castagnoli with the Backdrop Driver. Castagnoli feared for the worst and quickly lifted his leg back connecting with the low blow right in front of the referee. Claudio was abruptly disqualified but he didn’t care as he waved for the BDK to make their way to the ring. They all ran down and Kingston showed great heart in fighting them off before the numbers game got the better of him. As the rest of the BDK guarded the ring, which led to an eventual brawl with various chikara talent looking to save Kingston which included the Campeonatos de Parejas, Jigsaw and Mike Quackenbush and The Colony. As the brawl erupted outside. Claudio slammed Kingston with another Ricola Bomb and placed his foot on Kingston’s chest as BDK referee, Derek Sabato counted the unofficial three count. The show came to an end with the BDK standing tall in the ring as the chikara regulars are laid out cold all over the ringside area. | Eddie Kingston wins via Disqualification following a low blow from Claudio Castagnoli. |

Nice way to kick off the show with the multi-man bout, I thought you might put RockNES over but glad they lost, they had a good showing, both Batiri and Colony having title shots are intresting, thats an old Sydal pic, Sydal winning is fine its a big win over Lince, so glad FIST won and puts them over as legit challengers for KoT, suprised the Ninjas went over your really killing the BDK momentum at the moment, not suprised at the DG team winning putting them over big ready for KoT, glad Yamato and Quack was good suprised and happy about Quack going over, so glad Sinn will be taking a managers role, the win for the Batiri keeps thier momentom going into thier future title bout, ending was good and makes up for the BDK losses earlier and continues Kingstons war with BDK and Claudio. I'd like to see some promos or something between matches but other than that a well booked and well writ show. Good luck and keep this up.

March 12th 2011 Campeonatos de Parejas: Mike Quackenbush & Jigsaw vs The Colony Single Match: Eddie Kingston vs Kyle O'Reilly Tag Team Match: The American Wolves vs F.I.S.T Trios Match: The Osirian Portal vs The Bruderschaft des Kruezes Tag Team Match: RockNES Monsters vs The Unstable Single Match: Tim Donst vs Arik Cannon Atomicos Match: The Throwbacks & Incoherence vs The Roughnecks & The Batiri Single Match: Icarus vs Helios
Jigsaw and Mike Quackenbush make their first defence of their Campeonatos de Parejas against the fan favourite team of former champions, Fire Ant & Solider Ant of The Colony. Normally, the first team to reach 3 points would get the title shot but Sinn Bohdi has claimed that The Batiri aren't ready to use their title shot.
With King of Trios fast approaching, special guest trios have been showing up at previous shows and this time it's The American Wolves turn. Davey Richards, Eddie Edwards and Kyle O'Reilly are ready for competition in two separate matches as Richards & Edwards face Chuck Taylor & Johnny Gargano of F.I.S.T while Kyle O'Reilly faces his toughest battle to date as he faces "The last of a dying breed" Eddie Kingston.
The Osirian Portal have been on a roll since becoming a trios once more with the edition of Hieracon. Tonight they go up against three members of the BDK, Tursas, Pinkie Sanchez & Lince Dorado
Johnny Goodtime & Johnny Yuma of the RockNES Monsters have been accepted in to the CHIKARA family by the fans and by most of the roster. One team that seems to have a problem with the RockNES Monsters is STIGMA & Vin Gerard of the Unstable who always have a nasty attitude but have seemingly been colder towards the RockNES Monsters than usual. Will the RockNES Monsters prove to The Unstable that they belong on the roster?
Tim Donst's quest to defeat all previous holders of the Young Lions Cup to show everyone once and for all that he is the greatest Young Lions Cup champion. Donst has already defeated Hallowicked, Jimmy Olsen and Larry Sweeney and now Arik Cannon has stepped up to the challenge of shutting Donst up once and for all.
The Throw Backs still have issues with The Rough Necks who reunited several months back by attacking Dasher Hatfield, while Incoherence and the Batiri have been going at it as pawns in the war between Sinn Bohdi and UltraMantis Black. Director of Fun, Wink Vavasseur has decided to throw all eight men in to the same match to give the fans some great Atomicos action.
Operation Big Freeze welcomes the return of Helios to CHIKARA who hasn't been seen for several months after The Future is Now disbanded following Lince Dorado's betrayal and joining the Bruderschaft des Kruezes. In his return match, Helios goes oe on one with Icarus of F.I.S.T Icarus is one of the few members of the chikara roster to be around since Season One and will be a tough challenge for the returning Helios.

Operation Big Freeze! | March 12th 2011 | | Helios vs Icarus | Helios hasn’t been seen in a CHIKARA ring since September 2010 when the Future is Now came to an end following Equinox’s unmasking and reuniting with his brother, Colin Delaney-Olsen as Jimmy Olsen. Helios got a nice pop as he made his way to the ring where Icarus was waiting and the two put together a nice opening contest to start the night off. After some back in forth action, Helios eventually picked up the victory in his return match after countering the Wings of Icarus in to a bridged pin which was enough to get the three count. | Helios wins via bridged pin. | | The Roughnecks & The Batiri vs The Throwbacks & Incoherence | Atomicos action now as Dasher Hatfield & Sugar Dunkerton of the Throwbacks team up with Hallowicked & Frightmare of Incoherence to do battle against Brodie Lee & Grizzly Redwood of the Roughnecks and Obariyon & Kodama of the Batiri. The match itself was fun but one of the shorter matches of the night lasting a mere ten or so minutes. The match ending arrived with The Roughnecks brawling with Hallowicked & Dasher Hatfield on the outside of the ring which Sugar Dunkerton interrupted by diving over the ropes and crashing on top of all four men. As the referee checked on the carnage outside of the ring, Kobald slid in to the ring and connected with the spear on Frightmare. Obariyon quickly climbed to the top rope as Frightmare struggled to his feet. Once Frightmare turned around, Obariyon dived and connected with the Diving DDT, slamming Frightmare’s face in to the canvas. Obariyon pinned Frightmare to pick up the pinfall for his team. | The Batiri & The Roughnecks win via Obariyon's diving DDT on Frightmare. | | Tim Donst vs Arik Cannon | Arik Cannon is a former permanent CHIKARA roster member that now days only shows up around King of Trios and this year nothing has changed. Tim Donst, in his quest to prove he’s the greatest Young Lions Cup holder in CHIKARA history fought hard against Cannon who has always been a fan favourite when ever he sets foot in a CHIKARA ring. The two men went back n forth for just under fifteen minutes and the finish arrived with Donst hitting the Gator Roll, slamming Arik Cannon’s face in to the canvas. This was enough to give Donst the 3 count and pick up the victory. | Tim Donst wins via pinfall following the Gator Roll. | | The RockNES Monsters vs The Unstable | The Rock n Roll loving Video Game playing RockNES Monsters are fast becoming one of CHIKARA’s fan favourite tag teams as the crowd popped pretty loudly when they came out to the entrance theme, which is a rocked out version of the Tetris game theme. The Unstable and RockNES Monsters had a rather short match, again going around the fifteen minute mark, probably because of the Campeonatos de Parejas match being on the card. The finish to the match arrived with Goodtime hitting his Frog Splash on STIGMA only for Vin Gerard to break up the pinfall attempt. Johnny Yuma went to the top rope, and went for a diving cross body only or Gerard to move out of the way causing Yuma to crash in to the referee. With the referee down, an unknown man with his face covered slid in to the ring and kicked Yuma in the gut before connecting with Sliced Bread #2. Goodtime tried to help his partner but the man then hooked Goodtime in to a guillotine choke before slamming him down with the DDT. Vin Gerard slid in to the ring and covered Goodtime as the referee came back to life and made the three count. Following the bell, the man pulled of his black mask to reveal Jimmy Jacobs. Jacobs, STIGMA and Vin Gerard posed in the ring, Jacobs seemingly the newest member of The Unstable. | The Unstable win following unseen outside interference. | | The Osirian Portal vs The Bruderschaft des Kruezes | Lince Dorado, Pinkie Sanchez & Tursas were representing the Bruderschaft team tonight as they took part in trios action against Amasis, Hieracon & Ophidian of the Osirian Portal. When Pinkie or Lince were in the ring, the match was kept at a fast pace but when Tursas got the tag in to the match, the match would drastically slow down as the big man would just dominate the three Egyptians. The Osirian Portal would eventually work together, to knock Tursas out of the ring with a triple drop kick and Hieracon quickly dived over the ropes, crashing in to Tursas but not knocking the giant off his feet. The finish to the match arrived with Pinkie Sanchez delivering the Burning Snicklefritz, an inverted Death Valley Driver on Ophidian as Tursas crushed Amasis & Hieracon allowing Pinkie to pick up the three count for the Bruderschaft.
| Bruderschaft des Kruezes win via pinfall following the Burning Snicklefritz on Ophidian. | | American Wolves vs F.I.S.T | The American Wolves make their first appearance for CHIKARA tonight in preparation for King of Trios in a fantastic match against Chuck Taylor & Johnny Gargano of F.I.S.T Besides the main event, this was given the most time of any other match on the card and it allowed for both teams to go all out and tell a great story in the ring. The finish to the match eventually arrived just after the twenty five minute mark with Chuck Taylor tapping out to the heel hook applied by Davey Richards. | American Wolves win via submission following Chuck Taylor tapping out to the Heel Hook. | | Kyle O'Reilly vs Eddie Kingston | Kyle O’Reilly who has appeared in CHIKARA before at the previous Young Lions Cup looked to continue the American Wolves winning streak tonight and do his mentor, Davey Richards proud by defeated Eddie Kingston. This would not be the case however but O’Reilly didn’t go out without a fight as he gave “The King of Diamonds” some real stiff kicks which Kingston retaliated with a Back Fist to the Future, knocking the kid down to the canvas. O’Reilly refused to go down however and after countering a backdrop driver will a cheeky roll up, Kingston seemed to lose his cool and began pounding Kyle over and over again in the corner till the referee was forced to disqualify Kingston for refusing to back out of the corner. Davey Richards ran down to the ring and shoved Kingston which caused the two men to go nose to nose before they began brawling. The Technico roster hit the ring to separate the two men who refused to leave each other alone but eventually, Richards was dragged out of the ring and separated far enough from Kingston. | Kyle O'Reilly wins via Disqualification following Eddie Kingston ignoring the referee's count of five. | | Campeonatos de Parejas Jigsaw© & Mike Quackenbush© vs The Colony | As usual, the Campeonatos de Parejas Championship match is 2 out of 3 falls with the first team to pick up two victories leaving as the champions. Both teams are huge fan favourites with the crowd and there was several mixed chants of “Lets go Colony / Lets go QuackenSaw” Longest match of the night, just passing the 30 minute mark with the first fall going to the Colony following the Ants go Marching Neck Breaker/Power Bomb combination on Jigsaw. With the Colony up one point, it would only take another victory to become Campeonatos de Parejas but the current champions would get back in the game with Mike Quackenbush hitting the Quackendriver IV on Fire Ant bringing the teams to 1-1 with the remaining fall deciding who would leave with the championship belts. The two teams would do battle for ten or so minutes before the finish would eventually arrive with Soldier Ant missing the Spinning Salute forearm on Mike Quackenbush, instead walking straight in to a super kick by Jigsaw, sending Solider Ant to the canvas. Fire Ant then charged at Jigsaw who pulled down the top rope sending Fire Ant crashing to the outside as Quackenbush locked in the Chikara Special on Solider Ant who was forced to tap out. Jigsaw and Quackenbush celebrate their title defence and The colony eventually regain their bearings to shake the champions hands to close the show. | Jigsaw & Mike Quackenbush win via pinfall for their 1st fall and submission for their 2nd to retain the Campeonatos de Parejas. |

Damn your pumping these out man, wish more people read though. I wouldn't have put Helios/Icarus first but it seemed decent enough. The Batiri are on a roll and nice booking putting both tag feuds against each other. Donst over Cannon makes perfect sense I wonder how this story will continue. I'm unsure about Jacobs joining but I'm sure you'll convince me and it gives you another trio to put in KoT. The 6-man could have gone either way but keeping the BDK makes sense. On another note, I love Pinkies Burning Hammer. FIST/Wolves sounds epic so glad you went with Chuck and Gargano not Icarus. Awesome booking and sends the Wolves strong into KoT. Loving O'Reilly being pushed to the limit by Kingston, great booking and maybe you could semi regular book O'Reilly in the future. Good main event and gives Quackensaw some momentom. Hoping you keep the belts on them for a little while. Good luck and keep this up.

Creatures from the Tar Swamp! | March 13th 2011 | | Johnny Yuma vs Jimmy Jacobs | Not the fastest of openers for Chikara tonight but still entertaining to the crowd as Johnny Yuma of the RockNES Monsters took on the new member of the Unstable, Jimmy Jacobs. Both Johnny Goodtime of RockNES Monsters and STIGMA & Vin Gerard of The Unstable were at ringside for the match but didn’t play any part till the end where Vin Gerard jumped on the apron to distract the referee. STIGMA would roll in to the ring and hit a running Lyger kick on Yuma who was sitting in the corner, getting crushed. Johnny Goodtime would slide in to the ring and clothesline STIGMA sending himself and STIGMA to the outside of the ring. Jimmy Jacobs would lock in the Endtime, leaving Johnny Yuma no choice but to tap out. | Jimmy Jacobs wins via submission following the Endtime. | | BDK vs BDK vs Olsen Twins vs F.I.S.T | The pre-tape interview with BDK seemed to be hinting that the lady members of the Bruderschaft would be laying down for Claudio & Ares tonight once the other two teams had been eliminated to give BDK the 3 points needed to challenge for Campeonatos de Parejas but it didn’t go that way for the BDK. The first team eliminated was The Olsen Twins following the Ricolla Bomb by Claudio on to Colin Delaney-Olsen. All four members of the BDK would then take it to F.I.S.T but after giving them everything they had, F.I.S.T were still kicking out of the pin fall attempts. Claudio quickly yelled at Del Rey to lay down and she seemed reluctant but did giving Claudio and Ares another point, bringing them up too two. Before leaving the ring, BDK ref, Derek Sabato would distract Bryce Remsburg as Daizee Haze and Sara Del Rey hit the Piledriver/German Suplex combination on Chuck Taylor and then left the ring. Claudio would hook the leg but again, Taylor would just manage to kick out. Claudio was shocked but he quickly dragged Taylor to the Ricolla Bomb position, but after lifting Taylor up for the slam, Chuck rolled through and sunset flipped Claudio and picked up the surprising three count, bringing Claudio and Ares back to zero points, Olsen Twins lost their only point, and F.I.S.T get back on the leader board with 1 point. | F.I.S.T wins via pinfall following a sunset flip counter by Chuck Taylor on Claudio Castagnoli. | | The RoughNecks vs Incoherence | Roughnecks had one point going in to this match and they didn’t feel like losing it, so brought their “A Game” towards the ever so popular, Incoherence. Hallowicked and the current young lions champion, Frightmare gave as good as they got during the match and eventually, Frightmare would duck under a running boot by Brodie Lee and deliver a pele styled kick to the big man, stunning him, which allowed Hallowicked to follow it up with a running boot of his own. Brodie would fall down to the canvas and Frightmare would hit his moonsault knee attack he calls Kneecolepsy, which was enough to give Incoherence their first point, meaning that the Roughnecks lost theirs. | Incoherence wins via pinfall when Frightmare connected with Kneecolepsy on Brodie Lee. | | The Batiri vs The Throwbacks & Arik Cannon | The Throwbacks teamed up with former Young Lions Cup holder, Arik Cannon to take on The Batiri, which featured Kobald for the first time in an actual match. “Kizarny” Sinn Bohdi watched from the outside of the ring in one of the shorter matches of the card that had a fun pace and eventually finished with Kobald hitting the spear on Arik Cannon as The Batiri dropped Sugar Dunkerton with the Backstabber/Diving DDT combination to pick up the victory. | The Batiri wins via pinfall following the Backstabber/Diving DDT combination on Sugar Dunkerton. | | UltraMantis Black vs Icarus | Both Icarus and UltraMantis Black are Year 1 students who have been around Chikara since its incarnation nine years ago. Black is getting more over with the crowd every show he partakes in since becoming a Technico and with the announcement of a singles title to soon be coming in to Chikara, he’s a sure contender for first holder of the championship belt. The match it self was steadily paced but the crowd were in to it, between the cheering for UltraMantis Black and the boo’ing for Icarus and his terrible tattoo. The finish to the match eventually arrived with Sinn Bohdi arriving at ringside with Kobald distracting UltraMantis Black long enough for Icarus to roll him up and use the ropes as momentum to get the surprise three count. Icarus quickly left as Sinn Bohdi waved to the back to the Batiri and all four men rolled in to the ring. Incoherence quickly came out for the save and a brawl began which ended with an angry Brodie Lee made an appearance and delivered the big boot to all of the Technico’s, seemingly in retaliation to the loss he suffered earlier tonight. | Icarus wins via pinfall with a roll up following interference from Sinn Bohdi. |

The Osirian Portal vs The Colony

A huge trios match that could have main evented the show if not for the huge Atomico’s main event featuring American Wolves. This match seemingly had a bit of everything with the first few minutes having some comedy moments which included a dance off as well as The Osirian Portal accidentally using hypnosis on referee, Bryce Remsburg. Eventually, the match got serious, with the six men invoved putting on a real fun match that was given quite a lot of time. Plenty of near finishes featured in the match but it finally came to an end with Fire Ant & Solider Ant connecting with “The Ants Go Marching” their Neckbreaker/Powerbomb with theatrics on Hieracon to pick up the three count. Following the bell, the six men shook hands and hugged it out.

The Colony win via pinfall following The Ants go Marching on Hieracon.

Jigsaw, Mike Quackenbush & American Wolves vs Bruderschaft des Kruezes

It was mentioned on commentary during the main event that Eddie Kingston had been suspended till King of Trios for his actions yesterday during his match against Davey Richards’ student, Kyle O’Reilly. Huge atomico’s action to close the show as the current Campeonatos de Parejas, Mike Quackenbush & Jigsaw teamed with former ROH Tag Team Champions, Davey Richards & Eddie Edwards collectively known as The American Wolves, to take on Tim Donst, Lince Dorado, Tursas & Tim Donst of The Bruderschaft des Kruezes. The main event mixed in pace throughout with Tursas slowing it down at times to just dominate his opponents. Nice exchange took place with Quackenbush and Richards teaming up to chop and kick the much larger, Tursas only for Tursas to scream while raising his arms only to be met with a double drop kick to each of his legs. Tursas fell down to his knees to which Quackenbush and Richards connected with a double ddt. The match continued, with back n forth action, both teams getting in plenty of offence but the eventual finish arrived with Jigsaw picking up the victory for the technico’s after connecting with the Jigatonic on Lince Dorado. Following the bell, a brawl began with the entire BDK and the four technico’s involved with the match, incredibly out numbered it didn’t look good for Quackenbush and friends till the arrival of the suspended Eddie Kingston. Kingston fought off the BDK only to turn around and be speared to the canvas by Davey Richards who still hadn’t forgiven Kingston for his attack on Kyle O’Reilly. Richards and Kingston brawled on the ground and had to be separated by the technico’s and several referees to close the show.

Mike Quackenbush, Jigsaw & American Wolves win via pinfall following Jigsaw hitting the Jigatonic on Lince Dorado. Loving that your keeping up the layout, Glad Jacobs won as it keeps him strong as the new leader of the Unstable, suprised by the 4-way tag thought BDK would go over, loving FIST winning though, glad 'Wicked and Frightmare won and great ending to the match, Batiri are looking real strong in this so far and going into thier title bout, Cannon seems like a random choice thought Matt Classic would have been more suitable, sad Mantis lost, Lee destroys everyone!, the six man was epic and could have gone either way, loving the Quackensaw/Wolves teaming and would love to see them face off in the future, the ending was perfect love how your building up Kingston/Richards should be huge! Good luck and please keep this up.

The first match was a nice little opener, got the Unstable over very well. The second match was huge! And I wish the Olsen Twins won, but good match nonetheless. Incoherence went crazy on that finish, awesome sequence! Icarus and Ultramantis had a good simple match, and the aftermath was very cool. Lee dominating everyone is awesome, he's a beast of a man. The Portal and The Colony had a fun little match, glad the colony got the win. The main event was crazy! I'm a huge Quakenbush fan, so any team he's on I'll like, haha. Overall a solid show, man. Keep it up, Hammers.
