What do you guys think of the new Batista in the new Nexus?

Said it in the Raw thread. Mason Ryan has a good look, even if it is more than a little similar to Batista. I've seen him wrestle as a heel and a face before and he's nothing special in the ring, but he's got potential and if he can improve in the ring, he'll be a main eventer in a few years.

I think that's why kids were cheering at first. They probably thought Batista had returned to help Cena. Then realized it wasn't him.

Pretty much what Hugo said, only I've just seen him wrestle from the FCW shows put up on youtube. Batista wasn't any good when he started out but he obviously got a pretty good point in 04-05.

He looks pretty  ing intense... After seeing him in FCW... I just hope he's gotten better But seriously though, how cool would it have been if the real Batista did join The Nexus? |

He shouldn't of joined Nexus. I think he would be big if he was a singles star and had a manager to speak for him.

Haha you agree with me because I stole your idea for him having potential like Batista way back when. i miss heeltista. omg, I just REALIZED they made that biggest booking mistake EVER. What they should have done is had Batista come out clean shaven, and turn face, talking about how much of a fool he was (even though I love heeltista I'll ensure facetista for this angle). THEN, Mason Ryan comes out with a goatee/beard as MIRROR UNIVERSE DAVE!! BUYRATES!!! seriously, I'd buy Wrestlemania strictly for that match if they ran that angle. |

... problem is, if batista does come back, thinks are gonna get ing weird. even though I knew mason ryan was coming up to the main roster soon, I did still have to do a double take. He is the spitting image of batista |

I watched RAW on Youtube, and when I saw Mason Ryan's face in a thumbnail, I instantly thought 'NO!!!! Batista has returned'. I was so, so happy when I found out I was wrong.
... I like the guy, purely because he's not Batista.
Nexus MkII needs a powerhouse anyway, so I think he'll fit right in. I'd like to see an already established name or two enter though because right now, it's Punk leading a bunch of no-name rookies (David Otunga's the biggest name in the group ffs). They need an equivalent of what Big Zeke is to Nexus 1.
