Straight from Belfort's Twitter: MUSIC to my ears. He's screwed... Oh boy, that doesn't sound good at all. I seriously thought he had a hell of shot at beating Anderson, but man...After reading something like that...Wow...30 pounds is ALOT of weight to drop before a fight... I am hoping and praying the weight cut didn't take too much out of him. I'm sure it took alot, but I hope he has enough in the tank to at least last until the 2nd.

This gives me even more of a reason to go with Silva, but as we all know......it only takes ONE good shot to end a fight.

Cutting 30lbs the DAY of the fight is not good. This Dolce diet is looking like a joke to me now.

but as we all know......it only takes ONE good shot to end a fight. And how many fighters has that happened to?? Chuck Liddell, Rashad Evans, Wanderlei Silva, Cro-Cop, Gabriel Gonzaga, Terry Martin, Keith Jardine, Nate Quarry, Scott Smith, Matt Lindland, Matt Hughes, Forrest Griffin, Andrei Arlovski, Tra Telligman, and on and on and on...

Vitor can still win by flying heel hook. Lighting strikes twice.

This is probably the only time I'll TRULY root for Silva. I just don't think Vitor deserves a shot, regardless of Dana hating on us because of that opinion.

Does anyone actually believe Vitor actually cut 30 pounds for this fight or do you think it could be a slight mind-game, just to throw Anderson off a little bit, hoping to expect a weaker Vitor in the fight??
I think it could be a mind game, just to mess with Anderson a little bit. I mean, 30 pounds is ALOT to cut before a fight, which would mean Vitor wasn't truly ready for this fight and didn't really take it seriously.
I think Vitor took it VERY seriously and I seriously doubt he had to cut anywhere near 30 pounds for this fight. I think he was completely ready for this fight a long time ago and he's only saying he had to cut 30 pounds just to get into Anderson's head. So that Anderson would expect a weakened Vitor, when in fact, he's perfectly fine and ready to go.
I watched the weigh-ins and Vitor looked great. He didn't look worn out or anything. I did see him drinking some water, but there were other fighters there that did the same thing. As soon as they step off the scale, they take in some water. Vitor wasn't the only one doing it.
I think Vitor is perfectly fine and completely ready for this fight. I truly cannot wait to see it all go down tonight!! Not too much longer now...

He probably really did cut 30lbs. It's not the smart thing to do, but fighters do get it done.

I just think it was kinda stupid on his part to tweet that and say he had to cut 30 pounds and that it was his biggest cut ever. If that is true, I think it was a stupid move. He should keep that to himself. I mean, I wouldn't want one of the greatest fighters in the world to know something like that, if I were facing them. I would've kept that little bit of information to myself.

Guys, I think this 30 pounds thing is being over-analyzed...
He didn't say, "I cut 30 pounds today."
He could have been counting from when he started training. If so, then it's not that big of a deal at all.

If so, then it's not that big of a deal at all. I was thinking the same thing. I mean, one of his earlier tweets that same day were: Good morning guys I wake almost @ weight thanks God this time will be easy I have mike dolce diet with me hahaha he is good Somehow I don't think being 215lb the morning of the weigh in is "almost @weight".
