Man, what the  was with that fight. Horrible, horrible. MAT just ed over his shot at being a UFC star, he fought like a scared rookie instead of the dominant champion he once was. I wouldn't be surprised if Banuelos got the axe after this one. This in addition to KID losing out makes me feel the sadness in large quantities. |

He was overly cautions yeah, but when GSP does the same thing everyone loves it.
It was a huge miss match in my opinion.

First round was awesome, second and third a bit of a letdown though. I had Ellenberger win. Not his best performance, though, kinda like Grispi's recent bout.

Although I'd still like to see Bones against a guy with heavy hands and a good chin. I think he'd have benefited better from a fight with Rampage than hopping to a title shot. Rampage, while may be slipping out of his prime, is still a dangerous puncher with good wrestling and a granite chin. Yeah, Rampage already has a fight coming up but they could have swapped it out. I think Rampage would be a good test for him.
