anyone play this game? it's so goddam hard! my buddy has it for the super nintendo and i only gamed it for the first time yesterday. really reminded me of the original prince of persia, with the exact timing and even the movement of the characters.
i still can't get past the 'elevators' in part 2.
now i'll have to buy a sega cd, if only for the sequel.

I always wanted to try this when I was younger just because it had the look of Flashback (which I loved).

Graphics wise it looked like a prettier version of Out of This World. It's a sci-fi adventure where you play as a guy who wakes up stranded in a jungle with no recollection of how he got there. You work forward trying to piece together your past, and uncover what happened to you and why.
Sorry to sound so vague, I just don't want to spoil any of it for you if you do decide to try and track it down.

cgi.EBAY LINK NOT ALLOWED/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=230573625607 yep...didn't take long for me to break down and get my own copy. i chose to get it for genesis just because i've always preferred sega. can't wait for it to come now! flashback does sound interesting as it's made by the same company and is often perceived as a sequel to out of this world. it'll be my next purchase.

I totally forgot the two had a connection. That's a good deal you landed on the game though. I would definitely suggest looking for a copy of Flashback when you get through the other game. I remember being hooked on that thing for some time. I also want to track down the sequel to Flashback that came out on the PS1. I rented it when I was younger, but never got a chance to really play it.

out of this world had a legit sequel called out of this world two, heart of the alien.
I have it on sega cd, never played the sequal though. Flashback wasnt the true sequel I thought just a similiar game. Have it on atari jaguar I think.
The sequal to Flashback on the PS1 was called Fade To Black. I never played it through though and I still never beaten the original Flashback.
