Figamania.....!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry to all those who waited for this show. I had lots of technical difficulties putting this thing up but I finally did hopefully you all enjoy it as much as i did. As you say it is better late than never, I was getting a little worried we wasn't going to see your work again but here we are with a new, fresh start of UCW, I'm gonna miss WWR though but I'm sure you will pull this one off and hopefully will be better than WWR. Anyway onto the show, so we start things off with The Rock coming out and announcing the new UCW Champion, Johnny Margera. Hold on a second Margera, isn't that taken from Bam from Jackass? and Johhny taken from Knoxville? LOL. Hmmm, I'm a bit off the idea you got going with Batista but I feel that there is a place for it to grow on me. Should be a decent feud as well, I look forward to seeing where you take it. So then onto the match, god this is going to be epic. Music fits perfectly if you ask me for Thorne, plus I love how white you made the pics representing Heaven. Sounds familiar doesn't it? LOL. Here comes the Undertaker, god I love hearing that music, how many 'dongs' was there hehe. But again the colours of their entrances were a nice tuch, care to share how you did that or was it just using a lamp with different coloured films over the top?  ? Loved the way you had Taker SLAM the door shut. Once again your poses are top notch, I ove the shot you had when Taker jumped from the ring apron onto the neck of Thorne, but I saw string haha. Taker GONNA FLY BUT THORNE COUNTERS and I just knew it wouldnt be long before the match spilled to the outside. That last page (Hell 6) got me sitting on the edge of my seat it was that intense, fantastic stuff, the way Thorne countered Old School into the crucifix powerbomb and he shocked the pic fedding world by beating the Undertaker in his own yard. Some great stuff there dude, thanks for posting and I look forward to more of your product in the future.......SWEET!!! |

| Poses | Presentation | Progression | Promo's | Poses were great. Across the board plenty of great posing. There were a couple of strange parts, but for the most part I could feel the posing and fluid nature of the match. Lots of good spots, probably too many, but I understand that it was a big hyped match. If anything the match was a bit overbooked and could have finished more solid with a couple less spots, but I get what you were going for.
Overall Rating: *** | Your photos were crisp, clear and for the most part very good. There were a couple of weak spots in the sense that while the photos were nice, the commentary was really lacking. It felt dated, other parts just seemed odd to me. Joey Styles screaming "Holy shit" doesn't work for me. Some of it was hard to follow and there just wasn't enough of it, to me. So many great photos, but you need to do more than that. The customs were VERY well done though. Every figure looked like it could have been an official figure.
Overall Rating: *** 1/2 | Taking a real hit here for obvious reasons. This is a one off "show" and it was really more of just a match. I like that there was a storyline here, but it's hard for me to know what's going on or feel anything for these characters. The whole show lacked, hmm, "heart" for lack of a better word. All the neat poses and table spots in the world don't mean anything if I have no emotional attachment to the characters involved. Stronger commentary could have helped this some, but obviously this is just a late match for Figamania and feels out of place on it's own. It needed a card around it and some hype by being the centerpiece of a card, not being the entire card.
Overall Rating: * | A little bit of build and intrigue with the Rock's championship face off, but some of that just didn't jive. I needed a little more before Batista busted in and whatnot. The bonus promo just felt tacked on, it's out of place happening AFTER the main event and didn't do much. With nothing else to go on, it's hard to get interested in these characters.

Conclusion: Shifty's formula seems set up to measure a show. This wasn't a show in my opinion. I feel like you can have a one or two match show, but this was just a leftover for Figamania. As leftovers, it was graded as such. In the sense that, yeah, at one point this was an awesome meal... But now it's cold and less flavorful. Obviously in the future if you could put your poses and crisp photos with some stronger storylines, commentary and emotion in the characters, you'd have an A+ kind of show. Remove several of those core pieces and the castle falls apart. Final Rating: 9/20 - Room for improvement! Still a really good, fun match. If I was just grading the single match on poses and presentation and not the show, it'd been a solid 18/20 probably. Take from this and build a variety of storylines, where is Taker going from here? Where is Mordecai going from here? What's going on with the Rock and the Champion? Build from here and knock us out with a full show next time that has us on the edge of our seat. I think you can do it. |

I thought the match was pretty solid. Poses were solid and i liked the setup. I wish i had a huge cell like that! Nice ending. I didn't expect it. OVerall great job dude!

It;s great to see you back easy. I thought the match was very well done. The storyline within the match was well told. Poses were solid as always. Great customizing. Surprised at the victory. Nice to see the American wolves. I am really looking forward to UCW. Hoepfully you come back full force. Keep it up!
