The Jets O line looked like junk last week, well the replacements anyway. FIrst string was pretty impressive. Other then that, everyone else looked pretty lost.

That O-Line is as best as they come, players just aren't used to the pace of football yet.

Yea I'd just be concerned with player's conditioning at this point. Wait for the OL stuff next week and then be concerned if they still haven't gelled by Week 3.

outside of Mangold and Ferguson, i dont like NY's OL at all. at the end of the day, NY's gone deep in the playoffs with an awesome defense and a great running game. but you dont do your running game any favors by slowly breaking it down. you cut Faneca last year, and now Woody and Richardson are gone. Ducasse looked terrible last night. if NY is going to get to the SB, theyre gonna need Sanchez to contribute a lot more and i dont know that hes ready for that.

I like to stay optimistic about all my sports teams but the fact that some Niners fans actually thought Luck was going to hire an Agent last week (thus becoming ineligible) and enter the supplemental draft and get picked up by the Niners....cracks me up. Basically the Bernie Kosar rule

Slauson and Brandon Moore are also great linemen. Woody went down last year and Slauson moved right in there for him. Its his time. Woody was old and breaking down. Faneca was old and wasn't missed last year either. Richardson? I don't know. He was a big team leader and was great but at 20 years in the league, how much can you play? I agree Ducasse is TERRIBLE. Guy can't block anything and is def. the biggest weak point in the line. Other then that i think they have a very solid line. As far as Sanchez stepping up, i think he's there. Its his 3rd year in a system, has good RBs, decent WRs and takes control of the game. They also brought in i think Tom Moore or whatever from Indy to help out with the offensive calls. I think this could be a breakout year for Sanchez.

Looks like Ty Warren tore his tricep, and his season may be over before it starts. Ouch for the Broncos.
I was just looking to see who all is out there in FA still. I might be off on some, so don't crucify me.
Atari Bigby. I wish the Falcons would see if they can grab him fairly cheap. I think he would be a solid addition to their biggest weakness.
Keith Bulluck. I know he is older now, but he still has something left to offer teams who need a great tackler, and a veteran linebacker.
Mark Clayton. I imagine someone will give him another shot, especially once we see more injuries in pre-season.
TJ Houshmandzadeh. I think he's done. I don't think he can run anymore, but I imagine someone will eventually give him another shot.
Kris Jenkins. He can't stay on the field, but the potential is there to make an impact if he can. Someone will give him a shot, and probably regret it.
Kirk Morrison. Dude was a machine in Oakland, and had a little bit of a down year in Jax, but he still has a lot of years left. I am surprised to see him still out there.
Terrell Owens. I think he may have to finally retire. His talent just isn't worth the headache anymore.
Julian Peterson. Seems like there is a big glut of veteran linebackers sitting out there. he isn't what he was, for sure.
Kevin Smith. He has had some injury problems, but he's a young back, and I think someone should grab him up. I think he still has a chance to be pretty good in the right situation.
Lofa Tatupu. Really suprised to see him still available.
Fred Taylor. I think fragile Fred is done. He lasted a lot longer than I thought he would.
Brian Westbrook. He looked like he didn't have much left last year.
Roy Williams. Can he actually get on the field? I don't know if anyone is willing to find out.
Pat Williams. Is he retiring? If not, he could be a solid run stopper for maybe one more season.

Kris Jenkins retired. He had his second ACL surgery i believe it was in 2 seasons and he didn't wanna come back again so he called it quits.

I'm shocked Morrison is still available. Hes a very solid LB, and I could see him flourish if the right team signs him.
I'd love to see the Ravens bring him in. Other than Ray Lewis, the team has nothing but duds at ILB.

I'm surprised the Rams didn't bring back Mark Clayton after the chemistry he had with Sam Bradford last year, but its a little late now, considering we have 12 receivers and only six will make the team (most likely). Sims-Walker will probably take his spot at number one.

Steve Smith is still a douche bag. "It's really exciting because they throw the ball so much here, so many downfield throws," Smith said. "I was used to short [and] shorter stuff in New York, but here, they're running." The irony of that statement is that Eli Manning and the Giants happen to have a good downfield game. Perhaps Smith forgot he was a slot receiver and his job wasn't to get downfield, it was to catch passes across the middle and underneath. It's almost like IQ drops instantly when a player joins the Eagles. I'm telling you man, he always was a bit of a prima donna. He's not a bad guy at all and I had some good experiences with him but there was always something about him that made me feel like he was out for himself more than anything.

he was out for himself more than anything. Every player is. Don't fool yourself.

What ARE you talking about? Hahhaa. How he would carry and present himself. His social priorities in some instances. Could just see a little deeper into the man. Not serious issues, but stuff that makes the present seem less surprising. I would have been shocked by a lot of others, but not Smith.

What "present stuff?" He's a football player and he's excited to be on a new team. Why is that a bad thing?
My god you New York fans take this craptoo seriously. It's almost as bad as the Cavaliers fans who were pissed that LeBron left.

It's bad because it's only about Steve Smith. He isn't even that good.

It's almost as bad as the Cavaliers fans who were pissed that LeBron left. I don't take it that seriously at all. I made an observation. Smith is a present story in NY. Maybe you pay too much attention to NY fans and take their reactions too seriously.
